Owned by the same people as Keste. Delicious and tastes the exact same as Keste. I’ve had the butternut squash pizza, Margherita, Margherita, truffle mushroom and prosuitto one, and some others. They are all delicious! The crust is very light and soft. Sometimes too a fault! Over all they have great service and their delivery is incredibly fast. The pizza holds up pretty well too! Just reheat it in the oven.

Most reviews says that pizza is really great here. I don’t know… I was not impressed or maybe I just ordered a wrong thing We shared a Ponza Panini, to be honest no flavors, no nothing… no salt, no pepper, just veggies, cheese and a lot of dough… Same thing happened to the Racchetta Pizza and again a lot of dough… you are chewing and chewing this dough Can’t say nothing about the service, came here during the lunch time and was sitting by the bar Place was pretty packed Don’t think that I will come back, only if someone likes this place and will invite me to join

Stopped in on a Monday night and definitely enjoyed the food! My sister had one of the lightly fried pizzas and I had an awesome meat and veggie pizza. The service was good and the ambiance was nice. Great music playing in the background as well. :) will return if I’m ever in the neighborhood.

I love pizza. It’s the food I would choose if I was stuck on a desert island with only one thing to eat. And with Taylor Swift as my witness, I could exist on the Montanara Starita pizza alone for the rest of my days. Something about that pizza just makes me want to sing. I don’t know why it is so delicious, it just is. The salads are excellent here, as well, and I usually split a salad with whomever I am meeting for dinner. The service is great… they know how to get you in and out because there’s usually a line for tables but they are able to ensure you enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. If I ever hit the Powerball, I’m going to have a king size bed made out of Montanara Starita pizzas and I won’t leave it until I’ve eaten the whole thing, leaving me lying on the floor, bloated and covered in sauce but ultimately content.

Good ass pizza period! I had the Montanara Starita which is their fried pizza with smoked mozzarella and the fresca side salad. Both were from their lunch menu, thus I had the lunch sized portions which for lunch is just fine depending on who you are. The prices are very reasonable considering it’s nyc. This was a first time for me, having fried pizza and it was so light and airy that fried didn’t come to mind. That salad surprised me in it deliciousness, the greens were like air, the cherry tomatoes were sliced up which was great, the balsamic dressing was fairly sweet and perfect against the saltiness of the shaved parmigiano, molto bene! The ambience is really nice and the staff was very pleasant. I quite loved the copper bar top, very nice touch. The place is fairly small but I can see how they can accommodate a fairly large party with reservations or if you come early like I did. It’s great to get good food so quick in its turn around. The restaurant is in a great location, off the main avenues so it’s not too trafficky but near lots of venues at the same time. All in all, compared to some of the other coal oven joints including their sister restaurant Keste(which I also love), the food here is really yummy. I definitely recommend it to my fellow coal oven pizza lovers.

The pizza is very good, I’ll give them that, but why would you tell a customer«No you can’t add(insert tasty ingredient here) to that pizza»? I think that forcing your customer to eat what you want them to eat is a poor way to run a restaurant. Okay, the food: I had a pistachio pesto pizza w sausage, which was interesting and good. Did it cause me to stand up and clap? No. Was I expecting it to? Yes. Maybe that’s my fault, not sure. The menu is filled with interesting combinations, but for the love of God, if someone doesn’t like(insert weird ingredient here) on their pizza, allow them to abstain. That’s all.

Had the Diavola and the Truffle Burrata pizzas. The Diavola pizza had just the right amount of spice. The truffle cream in the Truffle Burrata was delightful. With all the tourist trap pizza joints near Time Square, this place is a diamond in the rough and a must try!

This is easily my favorite pizza, and best pizza I’ve ever had outside of Italy. I’ve had Don Antonio’s(done and and takeout/deliver) over a dozen times and it never disappoints. The pizza is perfect every time. Their dough is exquisite! The pizza comes out within minutes of ordering and you can see them making it right from the dining room. Favorites are: funghi(mushroom) margherita and the capricciosa(ham, artichokes and mushroom with fresh mozzarella). Also try their Nutella fried dough and coffee(lattes, cappuccino and espresso)

Best. Pizza. EVER We had just hopped off a plane and my family and I needed a place to eat. Of course there’s a wait everywhere, but this place was worth it. Pizzas are individual sized, so for my son, we ordered a Quattro Formaggi and my husband and I shared the Truffle Burrata pizza. It was definitely enough food and my son’s really picky so it was a real surprise that beyond his parents each having one slice of his pizza, he wouldn’t let us have seconds! The crust(and I’m usually a thin crust girl) was fluffy, fresh, perfectly cooked. The ingredients were equally fresh. The burrata was just light but full of flavor. Makes me want to visit Naples. I also had my first Negroni there and now I’m so into the drink. The staff was very quick and attentive, even through the pile of delivery orders going out. Very popular place but they seem to be running a well-oiled machine so that you don’t even have to wait too long to get your food the moment you sit down.

Wow, this place was fantastic! I ordered the caprese salad as a starter and was impressed to see a fresh ball of mozzarella right alongside the tomatoes and basil leaves, I mean wow, how much fresher can you get! Needless to say, I devoured it, but that was only the beginning. Next came my pizza, which was the Margherita topped with sausage. Everything about it was perfect, the dough was chewy and slightly burnt on the edges to give it that Neapolitan taste. Also, there was just the right amount of sauce, which augmented the flavors of the fresh mozzarella, basil and sausage. Next was dessert, which was deep fried pizza dough strips covered in melting chocolate. You know, if you are still reading this, you need to stop reading and make your way to Don Antonio’s. P. S. I went for a late night dinner, which in my opinion is the best time to visit.

True neapolitan style pizza! Went at 2:30pm on a Saturday. I had a margherita with prosciutto and a glass of gragnano. Really delicious and the bartender provided warm and quick service. To the people who don’t understand the art of this style of pizza, they don’t want you to add additional toppings because it will affect the quality of the pizza. With such a thin crust that is cooked so quickly(about 90 seconds) extra toppings will weigh the dough down and keep the pizza too soggy. It is judgemental to assume that a restaurant makes its choices based on selfish reasons, often the owners are extremely passionate about their craft, and though you may not understand their decision, do know it was thought over very seriously before they decided to «inconvenience» you. I worked in an Italian inspired restaurant for 4 years, and have a special place in my heart for great pizza! Would love to take all my old coworkers here and share it with them…

It’s nice to see there’s a decent pizza joint among the sea of lackluster options in the Hell’s Kitchen/Midtown West area. I was in the mood for my pizza fix and found this place. I was pretty pleased by the results. The pizzas are all personal sized and should satisfy most people(unless you have a big appetite, then you can probably take down one and a half or even two). I ordered the Diavola and it was pretty good. The sauce was excellent, the cheese was fresh and the pizza itself almost had a soft, naan-like quality to it. The crust was chewy and very tasty. Overall the entire pizza tasted extremely fresh and didn’t feel like a giant bomb in my stomach. The spicy pepperoni-like meat they used in the Diavola was also flavorful and gave the pizza a real nice kick. Thumbs up also for the excellent delivery service. The pizza was at my door in less than 15 minutes from when I ordered from Seamless. Now that’s good service! Overall the prices were reasonable. A tad on the high side but for the quality you get and the fact it really is a distinctive pizza from the usual crap we get in HK. it was worth the money.

A pizza place that was told we have to try by Food Network. It was nothing special. Their pizza menu is fixed and cannot alter the toppings. We placed an order with the waiter, and literally 2 minutes I wanted to change my selection and it was already too late :( My hubby had the Pizza Del Re(Truffle cream, homemade mozzarella, mushroom, prosciutto and basil), it was delicious, I wish I had order the same. I ordered Margherita, since Unilocal raved all over it. It was really nothing special, my son didn’t even like it. Overall, it was ok.

NYC is littered with some of the top pizza spots in the US. Trying them all can be a chore and when you frequent a top spot like Lombardi’s it’s tough to branch out as often as we’d like. Meanwhile, my friend had been told by several people about this trendy spot. We gave it a try and while we were content it wasn’t the best pizza we’ve ever had, not close. On the other hand, the quality, authenticity and upbeat atmosphere is inviting. Before coming through these doors, however, make sure you aren’t against close quarters. You’ll likely be sitting arm to arm with a group of strangers. There’s no privacy in this small, crammed location, but young, social, pizza lovers don’t seem to mind. Space is a chore to find. Neapolitan pizza dominates the scene. And, don’t expect your Americanized choices. There’s no pepperoni and sausage option. Instead, you’ll find more authentic choices and many ingredients you’ll likely have to Google. Regardless of which pie you choose, the wood-fired pizzas come with crisp crust, homemade mozzarella and top-notch ingredients. Whether you choose a white or red sauce or from one of the many specialty pizzas there’s an endless number of options. We tried the Butcher(various meats) and the Pistacchio e Salsiccia(which we weren’t impressed with), but there’s so many options it can be a chore to decide. We were more impressed with the salads than the pizza(the pizza is good, just not the amazing pizza we expected). The Fresca is a simple, yet tasty salad with fresh greens and a light dressing. The Insalata Pizza is different and not something we’d order again, but more than unique, combining pizza crust with dressing and lettuce inside. It’s an interesting appetizer to share with a group, just to try although we wouldn’t order it again. The regular salads are better. The downfall to a meal here is value. There’s little of that, unfortunately, and so many better prized options in town. The staff recommends everyone orders their own pizza and if you want a salad too(and a soft drink) expect to pay nearly $ 45 a person(without tip). To some that’s a great night out at a fun place. To others it’s an overpriced meal — even for Midtown. You’ll have to decide that on your own. This meal will be a one-and-done for us.

Came here before seeing the Rockettes(yay!). Wanted to eat somewhere that we could get good food but be in and out. We found this place, walked in and were seated right away even though they looked packed. Be aware that it’s all communal and close seating — it was actually nice to be in such a busy environment, good vibe. They’ll move the table and help you get in and out of the right spot. We ordered our two pizzas and, seriously, our food came out minutes later, maybe 5 min. The pizzas looked so good… and tasted just as good. My husband got the specialty pizza, it had a different style crust… sweeter and puffy. I had the margherita one. It was very good with fresh ingredients. The service was fast, warm and friendly. They obviously cater to the theatre crowd and know how to get people served fast… but win big because the service is great too. It was really nice because we never felt rushed. Would highly recommend when you’re in the area!

I have been wanting to come to Don Antonio for years now. I have seen them on numerous television shows, and their Unilocal photos make my mouth water! But alas, i was met with disappointment. We started with the spaghetti balls and the rice balls. The spaghetti balls were still frozen in the middle and the rice ball was much to greasy. Moved on to the butcher and were surprised when all the meats were separated on the pie. The crust was excellent, but being from the pizza mecca of new haven CT i didn’t think it was anything special. We moved on to Antonio Starita’s specialty — the fried pie. OMG this saved the meal. it was excellent, but i wished it had a little more cheese. The shocker of the night was when the bill came and we realized that one beer was $ 16 and a glass of wine was $ 14!

We love this place. It is one of our go-to pizza places because the pizza here is consistently freaking delicious. The burrata appetizer is pretty fantastic. They make their burrata and it is legit; soft milky center and the portion is huge. We get it every time. I am a superfan of the Montanara Starita. First off its fried pizza. 2 words that definitely belong together. This savory zeppole wannabe is the bomb. Unfortunately, no substitutions allowed, but the smoked mozzarella is addictively good and compliments the fried dough and smooth tomato sauce. It pretty amazing either gluten free or not, but of course the flour dough is better. Hubby loves the pizza as well. I can’t comment on too much other than the Montanara because that is all I ever get because once you go Montanara you cannot go back to regular pizza. We keep this place on rotation because this pizza is addictive. You will crave it. You will crave the crispy dough. Thank goodness the pizza comes out relatively quick, because once you are there, you just want your pizza ASAP.

There comes a time in a man’s life to show good sportsmanship and concede being bettered in a field of competition. This margherita pizza with sausage and mushroom ranks among the top 3 pizzas I’ve ever had. Soft chewy dough — brick oven baked to light crispy crunch — just enough house made mozzarella and fresh mushroom and spicy Italian sausage, to pack a smörgåsbord bunch in every single bite. And Yes I got the pizza Nutella as a dessert. Well worth the extra 2 hours in the swimming pool. So here it goes. This beats the West Coast flatbread pizza I grew up with. Right up there with Blind Onion Pizza doused with clover honey!

Food: Very good Service: Excellent Ambience Ok This is going to be my go to sit down pizza place. I highly recommend their special pizza with the fried base and the pompadoro pizza. Their service was exceptional friendly, patient and accommodating. My 9 month old son kept on dropping his spoon and they always have him a smile and got him clean spoons. All parents will attest that if you are nice to our children you will win us over. The eatery is a little dark but the crowd is a good mix of families and friends laughing and having a good time. I will be back for sure

What a great find! I was looking for an Italian restaurant that was family friendly as well as one that served good food. We found it here. The restaurant only has two high chairs which we ended up using both and they were helpful in finding a place to store our stroller. The pizza came out in record time! They weren’t kidding when they told us that it would only take a few minutes. We ordered three pizzas for the four of us and it was the perfect amount. All were delicious– chewy and thin. Service was great. They were attentive with our water glasses and were always around if we needed anything– which was often as we had three small children dining with us.
