dunkin is my normal spot to go to for coffee and breakfast… i ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese and sausage(they never get this wrong) well that day they did. i got to my office no sausage but they charged me the 1.99. they dont pay attention in the front always talking and brushing people off quickly. i get we are in a busy area but at least pay a little attention to the customer

It is sad to see DD marred by horrible management, poor quality food and coffee with the majority of franchisees creating a culture of rude, dirty and unethical employees. This location in particular is filthy, they don’t follow Health code and their food is expired. Suggest going to Starbucks around the corner. It’s worth the extra money for no headache.

We went there new years eve at 1 am. The donuts were nasty, dry, hard, as if they were well beyond their sell by date. My wife, who never eats donuts, was excited for a true donut, but actually spit it out. How disappointing.

Gross, dirty. My coffee had curdled milk in it. If I didn’t open it up to put my own sugar in it I would have nut known until I got to my destination.

Instead of honoring their DD perk coupons. They said they can’t serve food because they are cleaning the cooking area. It was 11 pm at night. But they open 24⁄7. What’s the point of the DD rewards program if the store doesn’t want to be part of it?!

Small and cramped, and workers manning the registers are stupid. I’m clearly waiting on line, and someone else just walks up and they take their order. I know they’re doing their job, but it’s also their responsibility to maintain some kind of order and structure so people who are next on line get served. It’s not right. Are they so shy, timid, or lacking proper language skills to speak up? Lines do form, but since it doesn’t have a lot of room, they work through it quickly.

I have bought coffee here for years, but can’t do it anymore after yesterday. Yesterday I ordered a black coffee. Waited, got my coffee, left and realized they had given me coffee with milk and sugar. I took it back, asked for a remake, waited 10 minutes, they gave MY coffee that I brought back to someone else(!!!). Got tired of waiting for a black coffee, stood in line again for a refund, got to the register and then she said no refund, she’d make my coffee, gave me a coffee with cream and had to remake my black coffee a third time! Three attempts for a black coffee, but, the fact that they gave a coffee that I brought back from outside the store to someone else completely grossed me out.

Love can still be found (The second time around) ooh The second time is So much better, baby (The second time around) And I make it better Than the first time Now you may be thinking, what does an early 80’s hit by Shalamar have to do with Dunkin Donuts? Well, the first time I went there I was not impressed. But I recently had an opportunity to re-visit this location and had an astonishingly pleasant experience. Both the cashier and the barista could not have been more cheerful or friendly. As I sipped my coffee, slightly scalding my tongue, I couldn’t help but think that the second time around is so much better. And much like my coffee with skim milk and one Sweet N Low, my thoughts were bittersweet as I recalled my former friend Jody Watley was part of Shalamar when that song topped the disco charts. *Sigh* If she’d just apologize for her transgressions, I might forgive her and we could become friends again. Maybe it would be better… like this Dunkin Donuts… the second time around…

Proximity of this DD is a big factor for the frequency with which I visit. It is often crowded and they do their best to move people through quickly but it often appears to be a struggle. That being said, I always go back, so it isn’t the worst out there. Because of the midtown, high-traffic location there are almost always panhandlers greeting you at the door.

I am a long time fan of DD… As a matter of fact I am a big fan of DD. I prefer their coffee over SB. Saying that… this DD is just simply sub-par. Yeah sure! The service is fast and efficient but my biggest gripe about this particular DD is that the coffee is SOWATEREDDOWN! Not acceptable! Coffee taste like water. What the heck! Has anyone else noticed? Its not just one time… its on numerous occasions. The coffee is so watered down. I have complained to the main company website a number of times but nothing has changed. I believe they either skimp on the coffee beans or reuse them. It is really disappointing. It’s at a prime location. Such a downer! If you don’t mind watered down coffee this place may be the place for you. I am taking my business to another DD.

Popped in on this nice day for a Mocha Coolata. I tend to come here more in the Spring/Summer for one in the morning since it’s right across from my office. Service is super fast, and they get the orders right. I always try to go to the same sweet older Indian gal since she knows me and I giver her a nice smile. I have to disagree with the other reviews. I think the service is good. If you can take your nose out of your phone and stop texting when your on line, maybe when it’s your turn to order you’ll be ready. They have a bunch of different breakfast sandwiches as well as lunch stuff too, but I never had any. Have had the occasional chocolate glazed donut. Mmmmm Donuts…

Small shop, but very efficient, sometimes the long lines are deceiving. I have been there a handful of times, and only once I was served stale donuts. Other than that one time, the quality was good.

Rude. They get 3 stars for being open all the time but RUDE! Came in more than once and not planning to come again. Ruse rushed service. I mean I appreciate they are trying to serve many people fast but RUDE. Attitudes from these workers and they would act like they didn’t understand what I was saying… though I knew they did! The coffee was gross. I actually threw it out. They are not that cheap anyways. Won’t be back

Stopped in to pick up quick breakfast. Yes I’m a fan of Dunkin but mostly because they don’t have it over here on the west coast — it’s a novelty to me. Love that they have their breakfast sandwiches options for those who don’t like something sweet in the mornings. And I’m not a huge coffee fan though I’ve heard they have some of the best inexpensive coffee. But I ended up with a glazed donut and hot apple cider. The apple cider seems like a new thing. They did present it to me a paper cup(unlike the Styrofoam ones for coffee), which is better for environment but too hot to hold and they didn’t have those cup sleeves. But good cider nonetheless and piping hot which was perfect for the cold morning. My friend got the ham and egg breakfast sandwich and bottled OJ from the fridge. Sandwich was warm and filling. As far as cleanliness, I thought it was ok. The employees were polite. I didn’t like the panhandler outside asking for change or someone to buy him something from inside but I don’t think that’s Dunkin’s fault.

I went on a Friday morning at 2am and aside from the homeless people sleeping inside, the customer service was excellent. The cashier gave me two donuts for the price of one! 4 stars for that!

I’ll agree with other Unilocalers that compared to other DD’s around the city, this one is the dumpiest I’ve seen thus far. The quality of the product is totally fine but the place just looks dirty. This is more for heavy flow of commuters passing through Columbus Circle than sitting down and enjoying a cup of coffee. PLUS there is nowhere to sit anyways… Head to the DD on 9th and 47th instead.

I’ve been to this location twice in the afternoon. Once during the weekend, once during the week. Compared to some other D&D’s, this one is a hole in the wall. There’s nowhere to sit and the staff ranges from unwelcoming to super friendly(sometimes at the same time). Still, they’ve been there to fulfill my desire for an iced coffee a couple of times now. The coffee itself was«okay». Somehow I think the iced coffee I’ve purchased at other D&D stores is stronger. I see other reviews talking about the cleanliness. For me, the cleanliness scale jumped from one side of the scale to another between my two visits. Once it was a disaster area on a Saturday afternoon. Barely any Splenda left, torn packets of sugar all over the place(how do you MISS a garbage can so wide open?) and no mixing sticks. Today it was a lot more clean and organized, so be warned your mileage will vary.

This location is pretty busy in the morning. Also, it’s pretty gross that they are sweeping up dust and dirt when there are donuts in the open. EW! The coffee is standard, but what I like about this location is that I discovered the wraps here. Basically, it’s ½ of a sandwich and just as fulfilling. So I can get my sausage egg and cheese fix for ½ the cost and ½ the calories. The location is pretty dirty though. And, they’re always out of stock of straws, napkins, etc. I hate having to ask for them!

Coffee was good both times, but slow service. My flatbread sandwich was cold when it was served to me. But, they’re coffee earned them some stars, for sure.

Service is average. Not too long of a line, but disorganized. Staff is not quite friendly. Donuts taste somewhat fresh as it were made the same day, which is hits the spot before my work day. In addition to donuts, Dunkin’ Donuts serve coffee, tea, eggs on a roll, muffins to wake up America. Love their Éclair, chocolate donuts, and strawberry donuts… but not their service!
