Eddy’s Eats

Just ordered food off of seamless from there. So so so good. Not only was the food delicious but the delivery was very quick to my surprise. Tossed salads are super good and the salmon Platter is also great, very fresh. Both thumbs up for this place!

I came back and ordered the same smoothie. It was delicious! Let’s say fruits were not the best on my previous visit there!

I ordered scrambled eggs with a side of ham and extra crispy home fries and received a burnt «omelette» with chunks of ham in it. The home fries were soggy and tasted like water. The toast tasted like cardboard. I won’t ever order from here again — it was absolutely disgusting.

I’m here to drop a whole lot of truth about Eddy’s — the quality of their food SUCKS, their prices aren’t as low as what they advertise, and they have a whole lot of attitude that I don’t care for.
I’ve come here on two separate occasions. After the first one, I decided to give them a second chance since my fellow colleagues like to go there for lunch so much. I thought — maybe they only suck at making breakfasts. NOPE — lunch is bad as well. The sandwich was supposed to cost me $ 5.95 + $ 0.25 + tax, but I was charged $ 8.11 for it. When I questioned it, they looked at me like I was an idiot and told me to pay up.
For breakfast, I got some scrambled eggs and turkey sausage from the hot buffet. It smelled really funny, and tasted weirder. 1 bite confirmed that I shouldn’t have gotten that, but I was really in the mood for turkey sausages and eggs. For lunch, I ordered a turkey and cheese sub (they got the cheese wrong) where the bread is cold and stale and the ingredients aren’t fresh.
Oh, and this lunch shyt did not come with chips either.

I recently ordered take out from here and got the breakfast platter (two eggs, home fries and your choice of a side like sausage or bacon) and the Madison smoothie. It came within 25 minutes and the food was excellent. The smoothie was $ 5.95 and that’s a pretty good price in terms of smoothies for NYC, and a good one at that. Will definitely order from here again when I feel too lazy to get out of bed on the weekends.

I love this deli and come here from time to time for lunch. Love their egg salad. They have very reasonably priced fruit cups as well.

I work nearby and stop by here frequently for lunch and breakfast. Whether it be grabbing a quick juice or some fruit, the staff is always nice and accommodating. I really enjoy their salad bar for a quick lunch. They have a lot of options and topping to choose from and will even chop your salad upon request. Every salad comes with either chips or an iced tea which is a great deal. I find them very reasonably priced for the area. They also offer a wide variety of healthy snacks that are great. I love keeping some things in my office for those super busy days that result in me skipping meals. Overall I am happy with this deli and will continue to bring them business.

Okay, okay. Guess what Eddy’s Eats. You’ve earned another star after I’ve made a few more trips here to obtain lunch.
I had a lackluster breakfast sandwich here one morning and was bummed but their lunch game is TIGHT. Still wish that employees wouldn’t sit at the table in front of the salad station and oogle at me as I decide what to order — but considering how AWFUL the deli right next to my office is (shout out to Taza Deli & Café!), Eddy’s Eats is a GODSEND.
I’ve come here for lunch once on my own accord and twice after obtaining incorrect wraps/​sandwiches from Taza Deli. Today I just asked for a refund and brought my money over to Eddy’s — where I should have gone to begin with.

Things I like about Eddy’s:
+ Cheaper than Taza for better quality food and their employees know how to listen to orders and create correctly put together wraps. I’m usually a 3 ingredients type of gal and my lunches are not complicated or hard to whip up.
+ Eddy’s absolutely excels in flavor, quality, preparation, speed, efficiency and customer service. Smiles all around.
+ My wraps here are CHEAPER than Taza’s Egg White wrap. I can get a wrap here with MEAT and it’s less expensive than something with just egg whites, spinach and cheese. Willing. #TeamMeat
+ Free potato chips from «Deep River Snacks» or «Pop Corners» with ANY wrap or sandwich. 5 days a week? That’s amazing! They even remind you at the register to pick out your free chips in case that you don’t know the deal or you forget. That’s amazing! Instead of being shady and not saying anything they’re awesome about it! This is called customer service, relationship building and is basic 101 on how to secure repeat business.

Amazing spot! First off, the owner is a sweetheart. I left my wallet at work today (next door) and he told me to just come back at the end of the day or whenever I could to pay. Excellent customer service and extremely personable staff! And omg, the food is amazeballs. Consistently, too! It’s like having your grandma cook for you daily. Definitely recommending to everyone I know.

They are fast and reliable when I order thru seamless. I enjoy their smoothies in the morning.

I only go to this place because it’s steps away from my office but I’ll be avoiding it once the weather warms up.
The women who work there are rude and often have an attitude, which drives me crazy when I’m just trying to pay for my lunch. I tolerated it for a long time because I thought the food was decent, but I had a negative experience today with a very gritty kale salad that prompted me to write this review.
Guys, wash your sh*t. Nobody wants to eat dirt. Check those attitudes, too while you’re at it.

My new office moved around here in September… I normally don’t eat salads for lunch (or ever) but decided, out of complete confusion of my surroundings, to stop in so I could grab a quick lunch. I have been back 3x a week ever since. The salad is fresh and surprisingly filling. Their salad counter employees are SO NICE it’s unreal… and not creepy nice JUST NICE. I may never worry about where to go to lunch ever again.

Love the salads here, fresh!
The chicken cutlets (a topping) are always crispy.
People are super friendly and really nice too.
Delivery is also super fast (although admittedly, I work a few blocks away… hey, some days I’m too busy to walk over there :/)

A great, reliable place to grab a salad or sandwich. Lots of other options too. Friendly staff. Generous salads made from a huge assortment of fresh ingredients. I really appreciate that there is a fixed price for the salad for something like seven mix-​ins — much better than when you have to pay fifty cents for a scoop of cucumbers!

So I’m totally conflicted in my review of Eddy’s Eats. I want to give it more stars. I really do! The first time I came in I was lured by the sandwich board out front and I asked the juice guy how to get a salad. He said — Well… how healthy do you really want to be?– I already walked past Shake Shack drooling, so even considering a salad is ridiculously healthy of myself. Anywho — I made it to the back and picked my salad and my 5 toppings and it was YUMMY. I love that they cut up the ham (ham salad is my weakness) and they rang me up for $ 8.50 or so. Kind of was higher than I remembered the outside board saying — but whatever.
Today I go back. I look at the board outside and it says: «Large Salad $ 6.95, XL Salad $ 7.95». So I ask the guy in the back to make me a large salad and they charge me for the larger one. Just a dollar more but I go — I got the large salad, not the XL one. The cashier responds that they only have two sizes. I go — Ok, but your board out front says a large salad is $ 6.95. You need to change your board. She just looks at me and charges me over $ 8 for the «XL salad». I hate nitpicking your advertising… BUT… if you are going to say a certain size salad — i.e. LARGE SALAD $ 6.95. Then maybe… just MAYBE you should charge that same amount once you get inside. I believe the term is bait and switch. Fix your sign you crooks!

I mostly go here for breakfast and I almost always get the bacon egg and cheese on a roll. Its fast, the service is friendly and its one of the cheapest in the area. I love how they cook the eggs for the sandwich… over medium. I’d recommend this place for a quick take out breakfast. I like it better than all of the other options in the area and I’ve tried most of them.

I don’t know which is worse, the creepy sandwich guy who checked me out as I walked over to the counter or their hazelnut ice coffee that tastes like garbage.
Avoid at all costs.

Eddy’s Eats is my go to, cheap, no frills salad place. The guys who make the salads are really sweet, and they’re super fast.
Eddy’s also has sandwiches to go and make ‘em as you want ‘em sandwiches.
I get lunch here at least one time a week.

I recently started working in the area and I love coming here for a freshly tossed salad. All the veggies taste fresh. I’m vegetarian so I haven’t really checked out much else, but I’m looking forward to trying the soups soon.
The space, while a bit small, is tidy. I’ve learned that there are quiiite a few places in the city that also offer fresh salads but the friendly staff here makes my tired mornings, afternoons, and evenings a little better.

A cute deli from outside and an ordinary deli from inside. Definitely cleaner than other places nearby but they have very limited selections due to their space.
But don’t you rather go get some food from a clean place rather than ones that look like there are rats crawling around?
