Always a good meal when I order from here. I would recommend ordering Arroz Chaufa de Mariscos and Aguado de Pollo.

This place is excellent. The food is great and so is the service. I’ve been coming here for a while and even ordering food from here since as long as I could remember. I have never had a bad experience here.

It takes a lot out of me to write a bad review considering I am a business owner. However I am left with no choice. I visited this restaurant twice in the matter of 3 days. My first visit was on a Thursday during lunch. The gentleman who served us was very polite, and the food was amazing. It was a cold day, when we walked in he offered to turn the heat up on his own to ensure we were comfortable. On Saturday night I decided to meet my sister and friend at the restaurant, bringing along with me two of my clients. Before we arrived, I made sure to have my sister ask what time their kitchen closed. We were told 11pm the kitchen closed. My two clients and I arrived at 10:20pm. When we walked in, we waited about 5 minutes before the same gentleman came over to somewhat greet us. He filled up our glasses with water and walked away without giving us a menu. Another 5 minutes passed, I got his attention to ask for menus. He then handed me 1 menu walking away quickly, not giving the other two guests menus. Again, I have o flag him down to ask for more menus, he then gives us 1 more menu running off. There are only 2 other table dining at the restaurant at this time. We decide to just share the menu and get over his strange behavior. It is freezing inside of the restaurant. We ask for him to turn the heat up, he says its colder since we are seated by the window. but it is not cold it is freezing. Anyway, the heat is on auto, so we ask if he can set the heat to stay on, just until we leave. His response is, he cannot leave it on, but can turn it on if we get cold… so basically, he can turn it on but chooses not to. Whatever, food arrived its amazing. At 11pm they start shutting the restaurant down, I MEANSHUTTINGITDOWN! Chairs are turned up on the table, floors being swept, and we are the only table left eating, sipping on our pitcher of Sangria(not too good by the way). It starts getting a bit uncomfortable when the three people on staff, being the gentleman who served us, and two women start chatting away at the counter, clearly about us. One woman walks over hands us the check and say«WEARECLOSED». Eyes wide open in shock, we all look at each other. at this point it is 11:10pm, I know this because we look at our watches, hoping that we have done something wrong to excuse this rude woman. The woman then walks back to the counter, sips her drink STARING me down with a screw face, sound extremely childish… but it really happened! Its like she wanted to prove to her staff that she had the courage to tell us they were closed. My client wanted to excuse her, saying it could be a language barrier. But I felt that it is understandable if she went back to her business with out staring us down. When we asked what time the kitchen was closed, at that point they should have said the restaurant closes at 11. We were clearly offened, and no one ever came by to ask if we were ok, or to apologize. They knew were upset, because we said it and they said nothing. The gentleman stood there watching tv. My first visit I shared with the gentleman that I would write a great review. It is sad that this is now my review. Like I said the food was great, however, if you are okay with terrible service, and want to feel like you might end up in brawl with a staff member, then this is the place for you. Just to note, we paid our bill after we finished our food and sangria and left. I will NEVER give this place my money ever again. THUMBSDOWN, to this staff for not giving a crap about their customers. And just to note they are not making a ton of money to treat clients the way they do, or they would have no problem running the heat.

Bad hostess/waitstuff– lacks communication skills for English speakers. The woman was very rude when we requested to dine in after paying for our order. There were plenty of tables. Poor neighborhood.

Sea food soup is out of this world truly delisious, and their jalea is cooked to perfection everytime and the portion is deffinitly worth the price, while I’ve had my chicken perfect from here before there are times were it’s a lil on the dry side, but deffinitly a place I recommend.

I went here with my girlfriend and the lady at the register had a huge attitude. We had exact change and only had pennies when it came to the $ 0.05. The lady gave us such an attitude about it and told us

My brother and I would always order delivery from here. I never dined there so I wouldn’t know how good the service is over there. But the food is so good, I would usually get Spaghetti in basil and spinach sauce with steak for $ 12. It can be expensive so I would only order it a couple times a month. But the green sauce is amazing! I would ask them to give me extra(they charge you) but it’s worth it, it taste amazing with the steak. I also get diced cow’s heart on a stick, it sounds unappealing, but it taste so good!

I never really liked Spanish food until I tried this place. It is so good! The only problem is that the wait for the food is a bit long, otherwise to that I love it.

I order from this place at least 2 – 3 times a month. I love this place. The flavor of the rotisserie chicken is AMAZING! The green sauce is a must to eat your chicken. We always order combo #1 which comes with a whole rotisserie chicken, rice, French fries and avocado salad for less than $ 22 or so bucks. I am never disappointed when I pick up my order or eat in. The dressing for the salad is so good!

The chicken is the bomb! Get it! With the green sauce! And the garlic sauce/salad dressing is so delicious. I’ve only done the rotisserie chicken with rice, salad and maduros(sweet plantains) but it’s always delicious. I don’t eat there just because the ambiance sucks(it’s a clean, we’ll maintained spot just not super inviting). Order, pick up and pick your fingers at home!

I love fairly close to this place and my family and i order from here quite often. I love the shrimp fried rice and the baked chicken! The spicy green sauce they give you to go with it is sooo good. If your not into spicy don’t do it to yourself it vibes the food a little kick.

I live a few blocks away and decided To go and try it again. My last visit was horrible and said i would not go again, that was around a year ago. Staff sucks at least the waiters, they dont hear you or they act like they dont. Dont get the order correct, then they get upset that they screwed up The order. They are cheap as hell With the green sauce. If you go around late evening the damn chicken be looking like someone stepped on it. Lunch time is the best time if you must go to this place. Seems like their culture train them to be stupid. And act like they work at Peter Lugers. Its a nicely painted dump, barber shop on one side and a dark sucluded alley way on the other. I keep my first review… Never go. They dont care.

I’m Peruvian, and I have to say the food is ok chicken has a lot of flavor to it that which is good cost a little to much, and i have to say that the main thing is the green spice and I order from here a good amount of tines and they just can’t get it right, if its to watery then its to thick or spicy

This is REAL food for REAL people. Nothing is politicized or over hyped. Just solid cooking. Its important for me to be able to look at a meal and understand the preparation. Nothing can be more than a handful of steps from its original state. Came with the fam, famished after a long day working. A family of four(with 2 rapidly growing preteens) that could have eaten a horse, we were served promptly and efficiently. They were turning over takeout hand over fist. Despite all this, our combo # 3 with PUURRFFEECCTTLLYY roasted pollo, tostones, rice/beans, sliced hot dogs and fries, salad, and extra mashed potatoes arrived at our table fresh and in decent time(meaning: even this hungry, we didn’t cross THAT threshold of «where is the FOOD?!?»). Mid-meal for us, there was a 6 top of younger hardworking of NY’s finest who sat at the table behind us. It looked like they split 3 combos 6 ways. They were scarfing down their yummy goodness as we were leaving. Who knows if they were regulars. They looked about as thrilled and content as they would be if their mammas were feeding them. Our bill came to 39 $ buckaroos(with flan and cookies)! Can’t beat it. We lingered in the glow of this experience the entire ride home. We need to find more reasons to come out this way just to eat at El Pollo Inka. By the way, the couple behind us was sharing their seafood combo in complete silence. I WANTTHAT! I will give this place 5 stars if our next visit yields the same high quality food and amazingness(AKA consistency)! You can’t come here with the same expectations as for a Michelin 3 star but you leave with the same level of satisfaction.

I love this place so much. Just off the A train(78st street stop, like 1 – 2 blocks), you’ll find some of the most amazing Peruvian food. They don’t have a huge menu, but what they do serve will leave you feeling very satisfied. — Their roasted chicken is moist and oh-so juicy. — Their salads are HUGE, crisp and come with this GREAT tasting natural and healthy dressing. — Their plantains are crispy and salted just right. — They also have this homemade cilantro dressing for the chicken that’s A-MAZ-ING! Their portions are HUGE! You get what you paid for here. If you’re having guests over, and need some good tasting food, then this place will give you every bang for your buck! For those of you in BK, this is the place for Peruvian food. For those of you in Queens. the same goes! For those of you in Manhattan, take a venture out and you won’t be disappointed with any of the above mentioned foods.
