Elegant Eyebrow Threading & Spa

The first 2 times I went to this place, they did a good job. I went in for an eyebrow and upper lip threading, and the girl who was working asked if I’d like to try eyebrow tinting. She said since I am blonde she would keep it very natural. We did it in two stages and it turned out great. Second time, same thing. Yesterday I went in for the same thing, and my eyebrows look terrible. As of right now, I am a blonde with dark brown eyebrows! It does not look natural like the woman insisted it would. It looks cheap and fake. My advice, be wary of eyebrow tinting at this place. I will not be doing it again.

I LOVE this place — It’s the only place I go now for my waxing! Not only is it super conveniently located nearby Port Authority, but the staff (all of them) are super duper nice and knowledgeable.
They never ever double dip on wax!
They always care about your comfort and safety and see it to that you have both.
And they never half-​ass a job.
They do threading and manis/​pedis as well.
It’s a small place, but just so friendly and welcoming.

Let me preface this by saying that I hate to give bad reviews! I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and I am extremely loyal but bad service is bad service and people should be warned not to go here!
I had been going to the owner’s other threading salon around the corner on 8^th for 4 years so I decided to try out the nail salon here. I decided to get a gel manicure because I had a birthday party to go to and then a wedding over the weekend. I figured gel would last me at least until after the weekend. The aesthetician was on her cell the entire time which was very annoying but I gave her a pass on that.
Well the gel lasted lasted only few hours because every single nail gel had started to lift by the next morning. I don’t know if she forgot the glue or what because that has never happeded to me! I went back the next day and showed the owner and she started showing another customer there and said that it was my nails and not the gel and she wanted the customer to agree with her. She did not! The customer came to my defense and said that it looked like the glue was not on right and causing the gel to separate from every single nail.
First of all how could my nails cause the gel to separate?
The owner said I had to come back the next day to get it fixed because the person who did them the day before was not there. Why would I want the same lady to do them?! But whatever, being too nice and not wanting to make a big deal I left and decided i would go back the next day.
I never made it back the next day because I had to prepare for that wedding out of town and just ran out of time. I went back a few weeks later assuming she would do me a solid since I have been going to her awful threading place for 4 years!!! It’s not like she doesn’t know me! She told me that i should’ve come back the next day, and that too much time had passed so she couldn’t do a new gel polish! That is not how you treat loyal customers! I’m sorry. If your employee does a horrible job for one of your most loyal customers why wouldn’t you just do whatever you needed to make the customer happy? I explained to her that I didn’t have a chance to come back in at the time but that I had come back the next day and showed her exactly what my nails looked like! She was the one that made me leave and then come back a 3^rd time. She finally said that I could get a regular manicure at half price but that was all. FINE WHATEVER! I figured at least that was something but then she charged me full price. I reminded her that she told me less than an hour ago that I could get the manicure for half price and she said no, she meant if I came back within a week I could get a half price manicure but that this one would have to be full price. WHAT?!
The fact that she has 2 businesses boggles my mind. She does not care about her customers. She blames them when her employees do bad work. Who does that?! There are plenty of other decent nail places in the area. Don’t bother with this one!
