You won’t believe you’re eating«fast food» here. It’s organic, totally fresh and REALLY tasty! Where else can you get an octopus and shrimp salad in less than a minute? And the portions are huge! Do your body a favor and eat here. It’s awesome!

Unfortunately I didn’t had a chance to eat the food, I order delivery at 9:15pm, called to check on my order 10:15pm… Guy told me the delivery left 10 min ago… Called again 10:35, place is closed… No one answered.

Finally after 9 years in the neighborhood, a delicious take-out place I keep returning to. Chicken platter is delicious– tender and flavorful hormone-free meat and highly recommend the delicious gigante bean salad, tomato and cucumber salad — soo fresh, eggplant, tzatziki sauce and hummus. Would recommend staying away from the lamb, as it was tough/chewy. Very nice seating area. Extra star for the super friendly, hard workers there. they even tape up the containers so nothing leaks on the walk home. Long live Eons!

This place looks inconspicuous on be outside but on the inside, it’s a true gem! The food is great. The restaurant is clean and the staff are super friendly. This is a go to spot for lunch if you’re in Kips Bay Area.

I really like the concept of this place, «Greek food Chipotle style». You can creat your bowl, salad, or pita sandwich. The ingredients are fresh and healthy. However, I’m not thrilled that they increased the price since opening. The veggies bowl was $ 7 but it’s $ 9 now which is not a great value anymore. The veggie sides are kinda plain without much seasonings. I think I’d prefer Maoz over this as they are somewhat similar with Maoz offering falafels(which are great).

This place is great. This is a greek version of chipotle. It has really healthy food and big portions. My roommate and I always go right after our workouts at Crunch. What do I get? Good question. I always get a bowl, with brown rice and chicken. My two sides are greek salad and chickpeas. I then add a topping of hummus, feta cheese and olives. I top that all off with lemon olive oil and a side of Mango Habanero sauce. They give you a big portion of healthy food for around $ 11. How can you go wrong!

LOVETHISPLACE! FANTASTIC, HUMANE, ORGANIC, AUTHENTIC… but most important, SOOOOOODELICIOUS! The salad greens are pristine, dark healthy varieties. Never a wilting leaf. The«Eons» salad(Tomatoes, peppers, herbs, olive oil, onion, feta) is perfectly balanced and addictive! All of the sides are yummy. I have only tried the lamb as far as the proteins, it’s super task and they do not skimp when adding to your combo dish. I also am crazy about their lemon chicken soup, really well-balanced and lemony/creamy(but no dairy), goes great with the homemade pita chips they give you. Tzatziki sauce is very fresh, garlicy, thick. Nice to have a healthy and humane option like this, and one of my favorite cuisines –GREEKFOODISSOPURE! Prices are good for the amount of food you get. Hard to finish in one sitting, very large, but I usually do because I can’t stop eating it’s so good and then I am stuffed! Oh, and the people are genuinly nice guys, always very friendly and generous. Please open an Eons in Chelsea?

Greek Chipotle. Literally all you need to know. Recommended Bases: Rice Recommended Proteins: Chicken, Octopus, Steak Recommended Sides: Eons Salad, Beets Salad Recommended Extras: Hummus, Tzadziki, Feta Spread The portions are huge EXCEPT for the protein. There is one guy in particular who always cheats on the chicken. However, I do appreciate the organic ingredients. Everything always tastes fresh. Chicken is a go-to staple: white flavorful chunks. The steak can be dry on some days. The salmon is so good and flavorful, but the portion is wayy too small. I haven’t tried the lamb yet. TRYNEWTHINGS — ASKFOR A SAMPLEOFOCTOPUS. TASTEIT. GOFORIT. ITSACTUALLY. PRETTYDARNGOOD. The menu says sushi-grade octopus. It definitely tastes high quality, but we need to consult an Itamae. IFYOULIKEBEETS, YOU’LLLIKETHISPLACE, THEYGIVE A TONOFBEETS. Don’t eat too much of Feta Spread or you’ll get a tummy-ache. Use it sparingly. The prices can be a little expensive for lunch w/tax: Chicken $ 11 Steak $ 12 Salmon $ 12 Octopus $ 15 — But it’s justified for the quality of the food and the«organic» name tag( ). Nanoosh(Madison &33rd) is a very similar concept w/better hummus but limited protein options. I prefer Eons in general. My usual order: Brown rice, Chicken, Mixed Salad, Beets, Tzadziki, Olives, Olive Oil(& Feta Spread on the Side)

There are some types of cuisines that I will eat no matter what. The whole«I need to be in the mood for such-and-such» does not apply to these cuisines. I am always in the mood and don’t think I will ever get sick of them. Which is saying something, because I can tired of things quite quickly. Greek food, for me, is one of these holy cuisines. The cool new-but-not-so-new-anymore thing is to be the«Chipotle of ___food». In my humble opinion, EONS beats Chipotle every time. Okay okay, I’ve only had it once(EONS, that is), but I’m convinced. EONS is quick, healthy, flavorful, authentic and AFFORDABLE. Especially considering the portions. We ordered what we thought would be a good amount for two people, and we ended up with a comically large amount of food. The perils of Seamless, I suppose. Zero complaints, though. As the kids would say these days, #leftovergamestrong. Given that I’ve only experienced EONS through Seamless, not much else to do other than speak about the food. Just a note — if you are considering Seamless, EONS comes pretty damn fast. So rejoice in that. I’ve tried(and loved): Feta Dip w/pita Hummus w/pita Eggplant Lentil Salad Beet Salad Chickpea Salad Wild Shrimp over Brown Rice (we also ordered a chicken pita that wasn’t opened due to fullness) I seriously could eat this stuff for life, so your name is fitting, EONS. The lentil, beet and chickpea salads all came as sides to our mains — so basically free noms. The beet salad is nothing more than chopped up beets(which I happen to like, but some may find it lacking). Lentils and chickpeas are both tasty and fresh — so you pretty much can’t go wrong here. The dips were absolutely fantastic. Definitely not the healthiest options on the menu, but it’s all relative. The pita that accompanies these dips is an odd hybrid — not quite a pita chip but not quite pita, either. Yet nothing like stale pita. Just kind of… soft pita chips? I’m not doing them justice. They were perfectly fine as dipping vessels but the consistency was just a bit puzzling. The hummus was good enough, but the feta dip was one of the stars of this particular evening. The very sophisticated cousin of nacho cheese. Very sophisticated. The one that’s maybe a little bit embarrassed to be related to nacho cheese at all. If you’re wondering whether or not shrimp travels well — it does. If you’re fairly hungry and are just planning on ordering for one, I’d recommend getting 2x the shrimp here. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that the overall portion is stingy, but if alone, I would’ve been unsatisfied with just one serving. Considering how inexpensive EONS is compared to other delivery options, I’d say it’s worth it to get some extra yummy, wonderfully-seasoned shrimp. My only real issue: I don’t live anywhere close to EONS. Thankfully, I know people in Murray Hill who also take great pleasure in eating Greek/Mediterranean food on a very consistent basis.

Great place for quick and delicious food! This place is set up like chipotle and the line goes pretty quickly. I got rice with chicken, eons salad, hummus, and a side of pita bread(prob one of the best pita I’ve ever had). Everything was fresh and yummy! Will definitely return!

Ingredients were tasty and fresh, but I didn’t really understand the Chipotle type menu so I ordered poorly. I immediately thought gyro when I chose to eat here so I went with the pita, wish I’d ordered a rice bowl in hindsight. The salad items were $ 2/additional topping so I chose one, and I wasn’t sure if you could choose more than one of the other toppings, and since I didn’t ask, all I ended up with was feta/tzatziki sauce. I wasn’t really full when I left here after spending $ 12 on lunch, but I think the rice bowl probably would have gotten the job done. Four stars for flavor and freshness, and I’ll hopefully order better next time for five stars!

Can’t knock them down a star because their Shrimp Salad $ 11.48 was the best salad I’ve had in recent memory, and the most satisfying/substantial. Granted, I maxed out the basic option with about everything you could, to great effect: Beet Salad Eons Salad Eggplant Onion Green Peppers Olives Feta Cheese Lado Mango Habanero Dressing Balsamic Vinaigrette Spicy Roasted Tomato Dressing

One of my favorite places in the neighborhood for a quick and nutritious meal! As others have said, it’s like chipotle but Greek. For under $ 12 you can get a LOT of food. You get to choose either a salad, rice bowl, or pita wrap. I always get the rice bowl, and I’ve tried most of the meats, with my favorite being the beef or salmon. Gigantic beans and beets are my favorite sides, and their farro salad is pretty great too. They often let you choose two dips, even though the menu says to choose one. Hummus is bomb, the feta spread is delicious, while the babaganoush is alright. I like coming here if I feel like I should be more healthy yet am super hungry and want more than just a salad from the deli. It’s also a nice casual place to catch up with a friend over a simple meal. I’ve been here maybe 7 – 8 times now, and did find that everything starts to taste very similar regardless of what I order. Not necessarily a bad thing, it just makes me want to come less frequently than I used to. Still highly recommend it though! Oh and you also get a punchcard — free meal for every 10 you buy.

Eons is great for what it is! It is high quality, fresh food, and they let you sample everything. Last time I went, I sampled the octopus and then had to get it(super tender, not rubbery at all). It has a ton of options and you could make multiple different types of meals. I went for the rice because I wanted the carbs, but you could also go lighter with a salad. I’ve tried a few of the side options. The eggplant sauce is one of my favorites! Really, definitely worth a try. It is a little bit pricey, and I always end up spending $ 10+ on one item. That said, it is a lot of food, and I am always left super full.

Ordered the steak pita and hummus n chips for delivery after seeing the stellar reviews on Unilocal. Delivery was quick for an early Saturday evening. The chips and hummus came in a cute container and was the only good part of my order. My steak pita was terrible. The steak was inedible — so dry, overdone, hard(couldn’t chew through it) and flavorless. I really wish I hadn’t gotten the double meat order. I scraped everything off and was only able to eat the pita. So, I called to request a new pita. A half an hour later a new pita shows up at my door and the quality was much better! I also really appreciated the free yogurt parfait they included, unfortunately it was a day expired.

At first glance you’re thinking to yourself, this is the Greek Chipotle. Then you take your first bite and realize it is nothing like Chipotle. The food here tastes fresh and of great quality. I was quite impressed. The staff was really nice too and the portions given are quite generous. They have a lot of options and combinations and are vegetarian friendly too. You choose pita or rice, then your protein, a side, and extra toppings. I went with Beef, Lamb, and Chicken(they have pork, salmon, and shrimp protein options too and each is either organic, grass-fed, antibiotic/hormone free and all that good stuff) over rice. I also got their greek salad, beets, tzadziki, and Lado sauce which was awesome. It was all really tasty and very satisfying. A great spot for a quick, tasty, and healthy meal!

Eons, you haven’t won me over yet. I love that you offer organic, antibiotic free, locally sourced meats and that the beef and lamb are grass-fed. I like that your interior is spacious and clean. As for the food, I’m not going to be polite. You’re inconsistent. The beet salad with citrus olive oil is a flavorful delight. The tzatziki is thick and tangy. Other than that, everything is bland. The lentil salad, which is supposed to have sun-dried tomatoes and red onions, has neither. It is unseasoned and flavorless. The Greek salad lacks the advertised feta cheese and the tomatoes are mealy(in the peak of the season). The eons salad, with farro, cucumber, tomato, parsley, and mint, is equally unexciting. And then there are the proteins. I have tried the salmon and chicken. Both are well prepared but again not seasoned and served in meager portions — like 4 or 5 bites. I’m a small person. If it’s not enough for me, it’s not enough food. You will get another shot because you’re geographically desirable, I like your philosophy, and those beets are popping. But I think you can do better.

REVIEW #600! …And for my favorite new«Greek food meets Chipotle-esque assembly line preparation»! I was dumbfounded the first time coming into Eons. After choosing from either a pita, bowl, or salad, you’re smacked with seven different tantalizing protein choices(chicken, lamb, steak, pork, shrimp, octopus, salmon) or a veggie option. Behind the counter, Chris and Javier hooked us up with a few samples since we were incredibly indecisive. We snagged a chicken pita and steak bowl for this order, but I’m definitely getting octopus next time around… delicious! Next comes a choice of two sides(or three if you go for veggie) — you can select from gigante beans, beet salad, lentil salad, chickpea salad, greek salad, and Eons salad. We ended up with chickpea salad, Eons salad, and two portions of lentil salad. The lentil and chickpea was my favorite of what we ordered. When ordering a pita, the sides are usually placed in separate 3-oz cups, but for bowls and salads, they’re dumped right in to the mix. Last, you get a choice of one spread(garlic, hummus, spicy feta, eggplant, tzadziki, or lado sauce), and any additional toppings(cucumbers, lettuce, tomato, onions, feta, olives). Like the last leg of your Chipotle burrito build, they’re pretty generous with the toppings, but you’re limited to just one of those tasty spreads. You MUST try the spicy feta spread… incredible! Matthew rang us up… two extremely tasty(and filling) meals for under $ 20! Next time we’re looking for a fast and fresh Greek snack, we will definitely be coming back Eons to satisfy our fix! A+ for food and A+ for friendly and patient staff! We’ll be much quicker next time… promise!

Think Greek chipotle. You start with your base then add your protein, toppings, sauce and voila~ a healthy, delicious meal that won’t break the bank. You can get the meal in a bowl or the form of a wrap. The«sides» are a bit misleading. «Sides» include chickpeas, greek salad, beans, etc. but you need to specify if you want that in your wrap /bowl or if you actually want it «on the side». I usually do a combination of both adding the greek salad in my wrap(the cucumbers and tomatoes add nice flavor and texture to the chicken and pita) then asking for the second side — on the side. The first time I visited, I needed a bit of guidance on how the process worked. With a big group of hungry, loud, FDNY guys behind me, I was a bit nervous wanting to move quickly and out of their way. But Javier gave me his full attention patiently explaining what I could add at no charge and what items would incur an additional charge. When I asked him to show me the octopus, he even gave me a sample to try. I ordered the chicken pita wrap and got the pita chips. The chips come prepackaged in a plastic container that has a compartment for your choice of dip. He highly recommended the garlic dip, I have a deep love for tzatziki but I told him to choose for me since he’s the pro. He selected the feta cheese dip which has a really nice kick to it. I really appreciated his patience and ended up ordering two meals there for dinner that very same night. Oh — and then again for dinner the following night. The food is clean, portions are generous, prices are fair and the service is great. So thrilled to have such a place in the neighborhood.

I’m so happy this opened in my neighborhood! I’ve been a couple times in person, and it’s been quick and friendly service. I’ve also ordered in a few times and it’s been quick and the quality is still the same/really good. The portions are pretty generous and always really fresh! It’s like a chipotle type set up. You choose your base(salad, rice or pita), protein, two sides and a sauce. You also can add on lettuce, tomato, onion, peppers, olives, feta and cucumbers at no extra charge. There are a bunch of options for the proteins, I’ve had shrimp, lamb and salmon. All were really good, and I want to try the octopus sometime. Like I said, it’s good, it’s quick and relatively inexpensive, so I’m happy it’s here and will definitely be a frequent visitor!
