Bought my first kanken today at this location! These people don’t work on commission yet somehow they provide the best customer service I’ve probably ever received! Shout out to Esther for being amazingly patient as I spent a ridiculous amount of time narrowing down colors

Arron the tailor, you are the best. Not only do they make amazing quality goods, but they have the ability to fix it for you in house. I got a hole in my jacket and Arron patched it up better than I had imagined. Top notch service from a top notch brand. Boom!

Amazing customer service! I went in looking to buy a backpack. They let me pull out like a million different colors(okay, like 12) and spend forever trying them on. Both guys who were working in the store were hella chill and patient. I look forward to enjoying my new backpack.

Although I am anti Soho this store is amazing, I only went to get a new kanken bag. Got a purple 13 inch laptop one. I even got a $ 20 giftcard, that never expires as well. Love this place. From their selection to how the staff is really kind, I will be back for sure. I see another kanken in my future.

Fantastic customer service. Bought a Kanken backpack in Seattle a few years ago. Used it very heavily(outdoors, daily cycling + city pack, continental travel) and it got quite worn in. Two zippers broke. Brought it in, two days later everything free of charge. All the products have a lifetime warranty. Buy it for life for sure.

One of the best customer service I ever had. Called yesterday ahead of time to inquire about jackets and sizing. Nailed it down to a XXS and XS for my special someone. Travis was nice enough to hold both sizes for me and had them both ready when I came in. Exception customer service. Fjallraven you have a loyal customer due to amazing quality, a beautiful store, and caring employees. P. S. Someone give Travis a raise please

Very upset with this location. Their store hours are incorrect. I called in before making my 3 hour trip to this location and they told me they closed at 8pm. So I had made sure I would make it there in time. When I finally got there at 7:40pm they had already closed!!! Beyond pissed off. I drove so long to get here to find out they closed earlier than their stated time. The store hours on their door says they close at 7pm. Their website says 8pm and the sales associate told me they closed at 8pm. So why is it closed at 7:40pm!!! Is this how you guys do business? You close early? You just lost my business and I won’t be shopping at this location at all. Completely terrible.

I have to say for a boutique in Manhattan this place was an amazing experience. Ok so let’s start with products. It’s predominately a store known for their famous book bag the Kanken. Among their almost never ending color ways of this famous bag you’ll also find a wide selection of clothes and rucksacks. I purchased the Kanken Mini and after to close to now two weeks I have to say it was a solid purchase. I can go into a pretty extensive review on the bag but in all honesty this is more about the store. The Kankens are tough, strong, little yes! but sturdy and lightweight… perfect for the Spring and the Summer weather. The part of this store I enjoyed the most was the customer service. They don’t get mad when you ask to try on the bookbags and to see all the different colors. Definitely coming back to check out some of their clothes and that Kanken Laptop bag is just calling my name lol

fantastic sales staff and excellent gear. People are knowledgeable and product range is wide and varied. If you looking for any outdoor clothing, footwear and some camping gear then this is a great place to shop. Good bargains to be had in their sales as well.

If you’re in the market for Fjallraven stuff, skip the other stores that carry it and just come straight here. Everything is displayed in a way that makes you really appreciate the color palette, & the customer service is perfect: readily available but not all up in your business. Bonus points for Ben who put up with me & my annoying gift cards! Thanks Ben!

The best customer service experience I’ve had in Manhattan! A bag I have been using for three years broke and they replaced it for no extra cost! The staff members are super friendly and extremely helpful! If you have a Question I suggest calling first to see if they can help you, but chances are they’ll be able to. Five stars! Ask for john, he is amazing!

I needed new Fjällräven trousers and decided to get some while on vacation in NYC. I think I spent an hour and a half in this store! Some background information: I am Swedish, and I’ve grown up with the idea that Fjällräven is the best brand there is for outdoor clothing. My dad has always liked being in the woods and hiking, me not so much. But in my early 20s that started to change(much to my dad’s delight) and I became in dire need of some basic outdoor gear. Dad gave me his classic Fjällräven Greenland trousers. We’re talking like, closing in on 20 years old trousers. Only fault? A small rift in the corner of a pocket where his hiking map had worn it out after much use. An easy fix with some needle and thread though. They might still be good for years to come(and so comfy!) but we all fear they can break any second and I don’t want to be without. So, to the store I went. Also, Fjällräven is cheaper in the US than its native Sweden. Right when I entered the store I was happily greeted by the people working there. First guy asked me if I needed any help, I said yes and described my need for trousers(btw, if you’re a girl with some junk in the trunk so to speak: try the men’s trousers. I cannot wear women’s Fjällräven with these hips and butt apparently, but the menswear is great! I know, it’s weird). Several different designs to choose form. All highly functional but with slightly different attributes. All are made from the excellent G1000 fabric(once you get used to that you don’t want anything else!) but there are now different versions of that too(maybe try Silent if you’re looking for a light travel garment for example. I like Original, and I know it’s damn good quality too! Tried and true, second generation wearer and all), but have different cuts, different pockets etc. The guy(so sad I can’t remember his name, he was so great!) helped me pick out sizes and even went to find me the right one when it wasn’t on the shelf. After a lot of trial and error I ended up with Greenland Pro as I wanted a lot of good pockets and that fit is just best for me. Wish they had the regular Greenland trouser in stock(as the Pro has kneepad pockets that are a bit low on me). But as a short girl I have to shorten the hem… a lot. Thing is, Fjällräven does that for free! Well, if it’s a raw hem(which some designs have, so you NEED to get it hemmed) or if you want to get rid of the functional cinch option. I decided to keep said option which I paid $ 20 for. Other alterations are also available! Talked a lot with the guy who was helping me which was really nice. I had my jacket with me(Greenland spring parka. It’s awesome. Yes, I’m building a collection of Fjällräven gear) and he offered to wax it for free. Of course I took him up on that! If you’ve never used Fjällräven’s G1000 garments it’s good to know that they can all be impregnated with wax(and heat) to make them more water resistant. So ask for that if you buy something! You can also buy your own wax to do it yourself(or to add to what you got done in the store when it starts to wear off). I came back a couple of days later to pick up my trousers and even if the guy who initially helped me wasn’t there they other two still remembered me. This particular store has a nice relaxed atmosphere with great people working there. They’re very helpful and nice. The brand is a bit on the pricey side but well worth it in my opinion. I’m not generally a brand person, but for this, yes. The quality is great and will last you a really long time, and the clothes and bags also look good! So it’s worth the investment.
