I’ve always been impressed with Gallery Henoch openings: never overly crowded or loud, always displaying tasteful and interesting artwork(usually realism). They have a great website and rotate shows frequently. They always feature some Eric Zener paintings, which are my favorite.

Thank you for supporting the gallery. We excell in showing contemporary realist painters both up and comming and experienced. Although, if you are making the trip to the Chelsea Art District in NY then I would come Tuesday — Saturday 10:30 — 6pm. please note that all galleries are closed Sun. & Mon! Happy hopping — and come see us, review us, and check our schedule so you can DRINKOURWINE on opening nights. Cheers, Andrew 555 w. 25th St(btwn 10th&11th Ave) subway C or E to 23rd st.

Gallery Henoch is one of my all-time faves! Their shows are always so classy, their openings are fun, and the artists they select are great. The last show I hit up, of Gary Ruddell’s paintings— maybe me melt into a fabulous little dream land. Nostalgic and exquisite. They also allowed people into their office during Ruddell’s opening, so people could view the works in their(a few Eric Zener and Darryl Zudeck paintings!!!). I’m a sucker for realism, and Henoch always appeases my art-appetite. Plus, their space is splendid and they know how to use it! P. S. Their website is quality too,

Henoch was showing one of my all time favorite artists — Kim Cogan — and had a great collection of his NY cityscape work. I’ve long wanted a piece of his and should have taken the plunge 2 years ago when I was first introduced to his art in SF. Too bad for me — but great for him! — his reputation has flourished in the past few years and he is now DEFINITELY out of my price range. Poop! But the layout was gorgeous and I really enjoyed wandering around the brightly lit(lots of natural light!) space. Two levels where they usually host two different artists. You’re also allowed to sneak in the back and check out the up and coming artists and work shop. I’ll definitely be back for a peek — and with dozens of other galleries on the same block, perfect for a Sunday afternoon wander.
