Giuseppe Zanotti Design

After being a loyal customer for many years, this was the last time I will ever purchase anything from them! I ordered shoes as a gift which were supposed to come this week and they decided to ship my package BACK because «there was a glitch on their website.» After spending three days on the phone with terrible customer service (who kept promising to call me back and never did) I was told «you can purchase these shoes in a boutique store but unfortunately they are now sold out on our website.» Btw I also received an email from them telling me to «enjoy my item.» So people please be careful when purchasing anything from their website! I am furious! Aside from the fact that I won’t have a gift for someone close to me this week, I couldn’t even purchase these shoes because they were no longer available! Should have went with CL (he never disappoints).
Oh btw — apparently the «supervisors» don’t like to deal with any issues and will keep transferring your concerns to others.

Probably the only guy writing a review about this Giuseppe store but damn was it cool. So many items available they cannot even put everything out on display. Don’t complain, if you’re going to buy a pair of shoes here you should already know what you want and shut up about the price. The manager Whitney is probably the best sales associate ever! I took the lady here to grab a pair before going on vacation and she wanted a pair that was made back in 2013. Yes the pair is out of date but her response was «omg those are so old from 2013». Damn right that is the right response. We ended up getting a current pair anyways but by her knowing that, she really knows her products and up to date with the times! A week later, I get in touch with Whitney and she finds a way to custom order the original pair we wanted straight from Italy. That’s service!

This review is strictly for the store associates/​sales people alone and NOT the shoes! I repeat this review is NOT for the shoes. In my eyes, Mr. Zanotti can do no wrong!
The first time I came to this store was this summer. it was late July and I found myself on Madison Avenue. I had been eyeing a pair of GZs from the upcoming Fall 2012 collection online at Bergdorf’s, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth. But, they were all on pre-​order at all of these retailers. So, I figured: «Hey this is THE GZ store maybe they will have them early!» Right…
WRONG! I went into the store and maybe it was the way I was dressed (a simple t-​shirt, jean shorts, boat shoes and messenger bag), but the two sales associates that were in there at the time barely spoke to me as I wandered around the small store. When the salesgirl finally spoke to me it was in was in a bit of a rude tone. I asked her about the shoes that i was looking for and she gave me THEE stinkest look and responded: «No. I have no idea what you are talking about. Are you sure that they are made by us?»…My thought: «Are you kidding me?! I’ve been following Giuseppe Zanotti Design since my first trip to Italy in 2008 (not that long I know)! Probably longer than you have even been a sales associate!» I tried to pull up the picture online, BUT of course with AT&T’s horrible coverage my 3G failed. Thus, I was left looking like an under-​dressed, unfashionable idiot! After about 3 minutes of me trying to explain the shoe, she FINALLY had a lightbulb moment and gave me the pre-​order catalogue to browse through to see if they would be getting the shoe.
The shoes weren’t in the catalogue so I just looked around a bit more and walked out. I ended up getting the shoes from Saks Fifth Avenue the next month. But, even if this location would have had the shoes I probably still wouldn’t have purchased them, because I refuse for someone to make commission off of my $ 975 shoe purchase, when all they did was simply ring up the order and did not try to help me in any other way.
Later I realized that the sales associate could have looked online in their system and custom ordered the shoe for me regardless of whether they were not going to get the shoe. My cousin did that at the GZ at Bal Harbour Shops in Miami a couple of years ago!
Anywho, as much as I love Mr. Zanotti, I don’t think that I will be returning here. I’d rather buy my shoes from one of the department stores.

Giuseppe himself is such a lovable fun loving character! I seriously don’t know where he gets his inspiration from for his designs. They truly are a work of art on your feet!
Price is absolutely comparable for the quality and craftsmanship!

Woo-​hoo, cute chic and not overpriced quality is what you can find here!
You will wear a work of art with Giuseppe (can’t help but think of pinocchio here lol). Theses shoes are comfy, non slutty cute, and will last forever! Funky designs never go out of style, I have a pair that I bought ages ago and people still ask where I got them!

I lied I’m going to write another shoe review. 4 ½ stars. I love their shoes and designs are beautiful and they make your everyday shoes just that much sexier. Actually, I own a few pairs and there quite alright for heels. Not bad for comfort.

most of the pairs i own, aren’t your everyday shoe. i got some really funky, cool, sexy art pieces! the best part, they’re sturdy and comfy! okay, my feet are jacked-​up, but they are definitely more comfortable than your average cheap pair of shoes.

I just got my first pair of Giuseppe Zanotti shoes as a birthday gift and I love them! They are so stylish and the quality is top of the line. I went to visit the store and the staff was so friendly, unlike many upscale boutiques on Madison Ave. There is also no pressure to buy which is nice.

Aside from Cesare Paciotti, these darlings have to be some of the best shoes around.
I have only browsed this shop and never purchased anything because this store does not carry the men’s VICINI line. However, this place is a must for any girl who loves her shoes. You will find exotic, sexy and understated in this boutique. If I had a daughter or a wife I would bring her here regularly because she, like the shoes, is special and one of a kind.
