Quick stop after the Staten Island Ferry. Worth the walk. Fresh everything. Real great local vibe. Nice folks. My finicky 8yo are a slice of cheese bigger than her head.

This place has charm and some of the nicest you will ever meet. They serve whole pies and slices. I opted for a single slice of Margherita pizza. The crust had a golden brown color, a crunchy texture with more chew towards the back of the slice. There were some air bubbles giving it a lighter taste. The sauce was fresh and simple. The cheese was a bit chewy but not bad. The single twig of basil was tired. Overall, it was a big tasty slice for $ 2.75.
I enjoyed the kids folding pizza boxes in the back.

Had the grilled chicken salad and it was just OK. All iceburg, no other lettuce variety. I had to ask for bread…

What else can you say — really good, cheap pizza minutes from the ferry. One thing that stands out is the special varieties they have: the chicken parmesan slice and the Sicilian roasted vegetable slice really stand out.

Can’t say enough about this place. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Great pizza. Very friendly staff. And so glad that we took their recommendation to try the zeppoles. If you are taking the ferry over, it’s only a short walk from the terminal. You won’t be disappointed.

$ 2 gets you a slice that is undoubtedly classic New York. Simple, tasteful, and not served too hot.

These fucks have no notifications that they are closed for Labor Day. Came all the way from Portland, Oregon to try their shit.

We stopped in as a family while visiting Staten Island. We were seeking authentic Sicilian style pizza and Giuseppe’s fully satisfied our expectations! It’s a tiny place with an order counter, and just a few tables, popular with the locals stopping in, and it quickly felt crowded but the owners came to us and had us sit down with menus, and took our order personally. During the time we were at the table, a constant stream of locals were in and out, with brief chit chats, all customers treated special. As tourists, we were also made to feel comfortable, as the owners themselves served us and made sure we enjoyed our pizzas. You can order by the slice, $ 2.00 each, of the already made pizza at the counter, but we chose to order personal pizzas off the menu. My son had the chicken parmigiana pizza, my husband had the Giuseppe’s special pizza, and I had the pesto pizza. All were delicious!

OMG. What a delicious artichoke, garlic, cheese pizza, we took it next door to Steiney’s and had it with a Stella Artois beer. A Staten Island must.

They like to have you eat your slice sideways out of a paper bag. Dunno what’s the deal with that. But otherwise it is some fine pizza.

Probably the best tasting Sicilian slice I’ve had in my life, whoa. Perfectly soft yet crisp dough, fresh tomato sauce & cheese. Also tried their buffalo chicken slice, again that dough was phenomenal. Savory buffalo sauce and generous chunks of chicken, buenissimo. Décor inside is very elegant yet inviting, the owners seem to know 75% of the customers which can only mean the obvious, people keep coming back for more, and so will I as long as I’m on my nearby project.

I’ve been living in Manhattan for about five months and before that I’d been to the city countless times and I’ve eaten more pizza than I’d care to admit. Honestly this might be the best pizza since I’ve been here. I always judge a place by their regular slice and this one is excellent. Crispy, slightly chewy crust with great flavor. Delicious sauce and fresh mozzarella. Definitely a great slice of New York pizza! I also had a slice of Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Also delicious. If you find yourself in Staten Island it’s definitely worth stopping in and giving it a try. The staff is also very friendly and accomidating. Highly recommended!

I live in the city and this was one of the best pizza places I’ve been to in New York. Delicious, thin and crispy style pizza with a lot of custom topping options. Family run and a friendly staff, definitely a place to stop that’s close to the ferry if you’re visiting Staten Island! Was very satisfied.

Tried their cheese slice and baked manicotti. Their pasta comes in a generous serving and you can tell it was made to order.
The pizza was so good and is different from all other pizzas I’ve had. I think it’s the crust. This seems like one of the go-​to places in Staten Island because people just continued coming in and the owner knew what most of them wanted to get.
It could get busy but I love the feel. The people are warm and they try to make sure the customers dining in are okay (when it’s not that busy anymore)
Restroom is also clean.

My husband’s family lives in Staten Island, and it’s always a treat to visit Giuseppe’s when we are in town. For, you know, EVERY MEAL. I’m so into their white pie. Sigh…
Very friendly owners and employees, low key service. We live in Kentucky now, but the owners always call me «Kansas.» Oh well, they got one letter right.
Go to Giuseppe’s. They don’t make them like this any more!

REAL ITALIAN DELI
Run by REAL Italians, so you can expect the food to be good. This deli surpasses any of the fake-​crap delis in the city (Manhattan). Can’t even find these place anymore what a GEM.

The cutest little mom & pop pizza shop. 5 tables but a BIG menu. Got 2 cheese slices and a water for 5 bucks. The pizza dough is amazing. Come get some!

Super nice people here. Very welcoming. Great pizza at a very fair price. Crispy crust to the point of the slice. The only way to serve it. Two slices later and I’m ready for the afternoon. We’ll be back next time we come to SI.
