I haven’t tried the food here yet, and am a bit worried about the reviews, but the Coffee is 3-star. It’s closer to warm than hot but they make it up for you, and a medium is $ 1.50. And I like the taste better than another deli on the block.

Buyer beware. The workers at this establishment are clearly not experienced at how to properly and safely run a food establishment. While they are good at food presentation and making the food appear appetizing and somewhat high-end, here is what they are NOT good at: 1) Providing food that has not gone bad. I bought the packaged pasta with meatballs dish and when I took a bite of a cold meatball, the meatball or the tomato sauce was so acidic it felt like it burned my tongue on contact. It was definitely not a spice, but a rancid/acid type of burning. 2) Customer service skills. No apology for the dish that went bad. Nothing said. 3) Providing expiration dates on cut fruit and other perishable items. The mangoes I purchased had no «Packed On» or «Sell By» date typed in on the label of the plastic container. I’ve never seen that before. 4) Providing the customer with receipts. While they have receipt tape coming out of their register, they don’t give it to the customer. I noticed I didn’t have a receipt when I wanted to return the pasta and meatballs dish so I tested it out by buying something else to see if they were giving receipts out. As expected, no receipt was provided on the new items I purchased. Actually seems more like a Third World Country operation. The standards for the amount of food establishment experience required to open up a food market in NY appear to be quite low. Not good news for Gramercy residents. If you want additional points of view that better represent this establishment, check out the Seamless reviews(9 one-star reviews out of 10 reviews).

This is a great little market to have around the corner. I come here mainly for the lemons and limes, they are cheaper than at the Met, limes are 3 for a dollar, lemons are 2 for a dollar. Also have snacks and drinks and flowers too.

I’ve been coming here for years. They’re a great neighborhood market/bakery/deli/flower shop with all the essentials you need in convenient pre-packaged containers for you to pick up and go, averaging 5 – 7 bucks. They’ve got hot food items in the back– soups, baked fish, pasta dishes, grilled veggies, meatloaf, eggplant parm, and cold items– salads(veg and non veg), variety of hummus, boiled eggs. For the salads, I really like the variety of vegetable combinations, like the beet and apple with walnuts, the spinach tabouli, corn veggie salad, just a to name a few. The pasta dishes include tortellini and ravioli and they don’t skimp on the pesto, again a huge deal at just 5 – 6 bucks, and it’ll last you. Many options, all great and affordable since the portion sizes will last you a while. The desserts are overpriced in my opinion but overall you can find something in there that will appeal to you. They even have a decent selection of gourmet cheeses and assorted breads and crackers to go with. Staff is courteous and quick.

Convenient little market that offers most of the essentials — prepared foods, a good assortment of beverages, packaged goods and dairy, though not too much produce. Some of the prepared items are really good — the dips and some of the couscous dishes are a staple in my house(and fairly well-priced). They usually have a nice array of fresh flowers as well. The people who work here are very friendly to boot.

This is an awesome little market that has a deli as well. You can get sandwiches, burgers, salads, and a number of pre-made pastas, salads, and sandwiches. I get a veggie burger here and the guy treats it like a 5 star restaurant. He makes it so delicately and with great care. And its only $ 3.99 for a veggie burger with lettuce, tomato, and onion.
