Kinda surprised at all the bad reviews. I was there last night and overall I enjoyed myself. Before 10pm they have a happy hour with like $ 3 beers, $ 2 tequila shots and $ 8 hookahs, if you ask me you cant go wrong with that. The DJ, if you can call him that was ehh. spinning tunes with his laptop. I think he was the worse thing about the place. Other than that they had plenty of hookah flavors, we ended up trying the Tony Montana and the one night stand which were both good. Not sure what the final bill came up to since I went on a date but it didnt seem too expensive.

Birthday night I came here… first time at a Hookah lounge… it was cool. There was a «dj» or at least someone with a Mac and iTunes lol… Good music, a mix of hip-hop/r&b/oldies…not bad Hookah was cool, tried strawberry which smelled pretty good. Someone comes around to change your coals I guess… definitely cool… Friendly staff, cool crowd… definitely gonna be back… comfy couches, candles, laid back atmosphere… I dont think its a really cheap place… we had one hookah, 2 shots, 2 drinks, and a bottle of water and spent a little over $ 100…

Now this is a fun place. Again I recommend pre-gaming elsewhere if you need to because drinks are overpriced and terrible here. Hookah isn’t bad either and free refills of coal all night. The best part about this place is the music and cool DJ that takes requests. The DJ spins a mix of recent hip hop/pop and popular arabic jams. It’s a cool place if you have a big group of people because you pretty much take over the place since it is a small venue. Haven’t seen the bellydancers here but I’m sure they’re pretty good! So for hookah and dancing all night Habibi Lounge is your place.

I’ve been here twice. First time was a Monday night in February at 2 am. It was me and a friend sharing the space with just the bartender and the owner. It was glorious. I taught the bartender some drinks and my friend and I shared a very good hookah and sipped our cocktails. The atmosphere is very sexy and chill so I decided to come back on a night when I knew there’d be more people. Friday night at midnight the DJ is spinning salsa and Arabic music and there are plenty of people dancing and relaxing. I loved it. I’m considering getting the little curtained off area in the back for a party on my next special occasion.

I’m not a fan of hookah, I hate the smell and it gets me dizzy… so why did I come here then? A random night out with friends and one of our friends recommended this spot and since I’m a good friend I decided to suck it up and go and make the best of it. And the way I dealt with that was I got a really strong drink and sat as far away from the smoke as possible. The staff was great and then there was a belly dancer… too bad we left right when the fun was just starting. I guess I could try this place out again… maybe.

Pretty cheap hookah… however the place kinda gives off a sketch ambiance. The crowd is kind of mixed, an older kind of vibe. I’ve had fun there but I don’t foresee myself going back. The service is pretty decent. Most of the time when I go, it’s pretty empty. So if you’re looking to not be disturbed, perfect place to chill and relax!

even though this was my first time at a hookah lounge, I loved this place. And I will be going back to Habibi Lounge in the future. My friend and I got there too early(around 8:30pm) last night, but we stayed until after 11pm. The happy hour special prices are different than what is on their site. On their site they say its $ 5 hookahs for happy hour 5pm-10pm, but its really $ 8 now. Half of the food menu they have on their website, is not what they actually have when you go there. We got some microwable chicken Nuggets. But, despite all of this I’ll frequent Habibi lounge in the future just for the Hookah, oh and the refills for the hookahs are free.

The hookah is great and vast variety. The music is mostly latin and arabic music that they mix back and forth which gets the place pumpin and the people hyped. Good selection of exclusive habibi cocktail drinks as well as the usual that taste delicious. Did I mention there was a belly dancer that put a plate of lit candles on her head while she danced? Guys threw their money at her while everyone went wild having a great time dancing along, smoking, drinking, or getting close with their partner. Great place to go on a weekend night but be sure to bring money if you come here not to mention the 10 dollar cover at the door for guys only! Nonetheless, Have fun!

I came on a Wednesday night and heard two awesome DJs, who played Arabic and Latin music. The crowd was dancing, hookahs were ablaze… It can get a little smoky, but eventually the A/C was turned on, which helped a lot. You can’t beat $ 3 Coronas and $ 5 hookahs. I also heard there were $ 5 appetizers, which I’ll get next time for dinner! The owner, Max, is really nice. He even got a cake for a birthday girl, who had a party of around 10 people the night I was there. I’ll definitely be back!

We stumbled in here on a Monday night after a couple of drinks down the street. This place is DARK inside. But the hookahs were good and the staff was pretty nice. The problem was the drinks were a little watered down and when they gave us the bill it was mysteriously VERY high. I was a bit drunk by then and found myself squinting in disbelief and horror wondering what all the charges were. There’s a really cute boy that works there(NOT the sleazy owner guy) so the 3rd star is really for him being sexy and smoking hookah with us!

I am definitely not happy that at Khalib’s party, I was forced to pay $ 5 for a bottle of water. Considering the drink specials made most drinks around $ 7, I was pretty ticked off. I asked if I could just have a glass of tap water and the blonde girl who kept trying to force drinks on me for the rest of the night told me that unless I ordered a drink I could not have a glass of water. I tried to explain that I didn’t want alcohol, and she said the only way she would give me water is if I bought a bottle for $ 5. I told her this was completely ridiculous, but she continued to refuse to give me a glass of water so I had to buy a bottle or go drink from the bathroom sink. The music was really good and the door staff was nice, but I highly doubt I will ever return. Not everyone goes to booze it up and this is the first and only bar where I have been refused a glass of water, and instead had a waitress try to force me to buy things. There are plenty of bars and hookah spots in NY that won’t treat me like this.

No hookahs for me… I came here the other night. Molls is right. The tables are REALLY low… and I am Short — short as HELL! I was scared I was going to set my coat on fire getting it off the back bench– that or trip over a foot stool and set myself and my coat on fire… what a cheerful thought! The place was not too crowded. I see that as a plus. There was a guest bartender– so I could not get a feel for the drinks. I was slurping pear martinis. I would have loved some real pear juice included– but that did not seem to be an option. all in all– an OK time. No one set themselves on fire while I was there– I do consider that a plus!

The music’s kind of mediocre with some good tunes. It doesn’t essentially flow though, with a bit of silence to change to the next. The ambience is kind of arabesque in dark red lighting and feather weight IKEA tables– easily knocked around. The worst part was the drinks and price variation. You pay $ 9 for a drink at the bar but if you sit in the lounge, they will tack on a 9% tax and add 20% gratuity even if it’s just two people. This place doesn’t deliver exquisite enough service or look as such to be charging this way. This says a lot about why they don’t serve food anymore:
