I was invited by a friend for their initial soft launch earlier this year and I was pleasantly surprised. This is happy hour and meeting people without pressure — exactly what the company is going for. Since I am the first to review, and I do love that, I’ll give you all the low down. It’s happy hours for professional singles looking to meet other professional singles. Simple as that. It was all about the execution. Event started promptly, and the Icebreaker of the night was — as they billed it — Adult Bingo, so things like — Have you been on a nude beach, Do you have a piercing, etc. And the first 5 winners got a prize. It was less about the Icebreaker — which don’t get me wrong, was a great way to make your way through the room, but it was more the overall beginning to end of the event. They have what they call the HH Host(or something like that title), who is your master of ceremonies, and they have floaters during the event whose job is to talk to everyone, and make the connections between people in the room. Reminded me back in the day during Rush — oh wait — I think the PC term is Recruitment. This event stood out to me 1) cause it wasn’t a random match event which sold out in two seconds, but the people attending have nothing in common, 2) the event organizers really took the time to make sure everyone was having a good time. At one point, they did have shots around the room — I think. Overall — it was fun, and I’d go back to an event.
