Harlem Gynecology Practice

I try to support local business, so have tried coming here several times. Each time is a bigger disappointment in terms of wait time. It doesn’t matter if you make an apportionment; you’re still going to be in the waiting room for 1 – 3 hours before you get seen.
However, the doctor is great. And as with all doctors offices, there are some nice nurses and some with attitude problems.

Dr Udo has some quirks but is a very thorough, detail oriented physician who I trust and feel comfortable around. Although his staff could be world’s more efficient, his work ethic more than makes up for them. There will certainly be a wait because he is pretty thorough and I cant really be mad about that after seeing what he does to ensure your safety and well being. He does have some late hours of service if you are like me and work crazy schedules.
The overall office is shared with a podiatrist but they run independently of each other. Truthfully, this office isn’t for everyone. However, Udo’s office in White Plains is a lot more modern and tidy– so you can always go there if you still want to see Udo himself.
They just updated their system to a paperless office so hopefully this will cut down on the wait considerably. They dont typically have samples of anything on hand so dont expect that. (Some other physicians do keep samples on hand for one to test out before committing to a Rx.)

Been here for almost two hours and havent been seen yet! Absolutely unacceptable considering its a wednesday afternoon and I only had 2 people ahead of me. Finding a good GYN is tough but finding time to spend in a less than tidy waiting area is even worse

This place is terrible and I would highly recommend against it. I went to Harlem Gynecology against my roommates wishes because it was in close proximity to our house. She was suspicious of from the time she went and they told her they only accepted cash for copays. Today I was the first appt at 9am. The doctor showed up to the office an hour after our appt and did not call the office to tell me to reschedule nor did he apologize when he came in late. Instead he looked at me and said «You don’t have to be here. You are free to leave.» I told him he was right and left. Dr. Udo is rude and unorganized. I would suggest you never come here! Save you money.
