Every time I’ve come to the store, I am always greeted by a friendly face and never feel stalked or hounded to buy anything, which is a huge plus for me. I love absolutely everything in this store. There is a lot to browse through, so it’s nice to be able to walk in and have someone knowledgeable, available and happy to help.

Thoroughly unimpressed with customer service. I ordered a bench from them and when it was delivered, the delivery service simply dropped it off, fully boxed, in my apartment. Emailed Jonathan Adler to express my surprise and dissatisfaction and got a call from someone that they would look into it. No apology. After that call, I never heard from them again. Totally unacceptable to have furniture delivers that way but then to compound it by not even acknowledging the mistake or apologizing is just plain stupid.

I keep walking by this place when I leave work to go grab coffee up the street and after weeks of admiring the windows I convinced myself to go in. While I work on Madison Avenue, I still get leery of shopping there, just because I’m nervous of encountering snotty sales staff. But the other reviewer was right– they’re friendly here. It’s amazing décor; very fresh and irreverent and attractive, and it’s nice to have seemingly down to earth people selling the wares. It just so happened that Jonathan Adler is featured in the April 2008 ‘Domino’ magazine and I spotted a few of my most favorite pieces from the store in the pages. Honestly, they’re a bit more than I’d like to spend now. But, less than I expected! I’d love to go in and get a knick or a knack or two in the future. It’s a beautiful store, with great merchandise, and nice people. That’s pretty a-okay, wouldn’t you say?
