Ordered a soup cleanse. Received it by fed ex in 1 business day at 12 noon which was too late to properly start the cleanse, but I did anyway because I was quite hungry by then. The juices are good, $ 8 – 10.99 each, received 5 of them. They were all mild and not as concentrated as they would be if you pressed them at home but you are paying for the convenience. You must drink them the day they are made &/or delivered or the nutrients dissipates. The protein shakes are filling and taste like a smoothy but do have a lot of fat(from coconut oils, almond butter) and are high in calories. The soups included in the cleanse are the pea soup and souper greens soup. Both were tasty but extremely salty! Too salty for me to purchase them again. Over all this is not a fasting juice cleanse to loose weight but more of a lets just try this for the fun of it cleanse. I was not hungry after beginning the recommended meal plan. It is a good way to eat ‘clean’ organic vegetarian prepared food and temporarily avoid solids but the amount of salt in the soup is way too overwhelming to for me to feel healthy and refreshed.

4 stars because they didn’t have the almond protein available. I’m a little bit of a brat… Super green soup was gooooood and I’m really glad they have a location in TriBeCa. I’m also addicted to the dehydrated mangos #feen

It would be 5 stars if only this place was cheaper! Seriously, I think you get healthier simply by walking in and breathing the air inside. Everything is super yummy from the made to order smoothies to the pre bottled pressed juices. The staff are extremely friendly and outgoing here. Some of my favorites– Dr. Green, The DeTox smoothies, The Almond butter cup smoothie, and mostly any of the green juices. They have food too, but I’ve never tried it. This place seems like a haven for Vegan and Raw diet people. All that matters to me though is how delicious and healthy everything is. If you’ve got the money I suggest you drop by here and get a healthy smoothie or juice.

Went there for a salad. $ 11 didn’t get me a very large portion at all and considering there’s no animal protein involved, this price seems high. Beyond that the wait for the salad was ETERNAL. Honestly how long does a salad take when everything is sitting in front of you in ready to go buckets?

The staff is always friendly and nice. They have a nice expansive variety of juices, I tried the cookies and cream juice today and loved it. It cost $ 9 which is typical for this area.

Organic juice and great shakes that are provided here. Problem is the lack of availability of pure variants instead of mock tailed versions.

I love coming here after a run along the Hudson. They have so many great natural juice options, it’s hard to pick one. The juices are around 10 bucks, so I like to get my money’s worth by picking drinks fueled with hemp protein, agave nectar, or chia seeds. One of my favorite drinks is the fountain of youth — it’s jam packed with berries, coconut and hemp protein. When I make hemp shakes at home, the hemp has a very strong and bitter taste that I have become accustomed to. I was pleasantly surprised that the fountain of youth had a more subtle hemp taste. It’s nice and refreshing, all of the flavors come together beautifully. The next time I stop by juice press, I really want to try their coffee blends. They look really good, but I’m never in the mood for them after a run.

Their salad bar is one of the best kept secrets. I like the mesclun, adzuki, and guacamole salad.

Very tasty smoothies, which are expensive. Service is nice although it takes long to make a drink, and the brochure literature unnecessarily insults non-vegan people

Very healthy and refreshing especially after a long run on the west side bike path. The girl working the register helped us decide on our drink and we were on our way.

Came here on our way to Whole Foods and we were starving. Not a good thing to do when entering a grocery store. So we decided to check out Juice Press just across the street. They are great! Tons of juice sample to try as it can be a bit overwhelming to choose a juice you know you will like. The also had samples of chia seed pudding and oatmeal. Yes!!! We ended up getting the matcha latte. It definitely hit the spot. It has a hint of mint that made it all the more refreshing for the hot summer day. We didn’t get a chance to try the food in the back, but we definitely will be back!

The service is great but for some reason the staff just can’t seem to get the smoothies right compared to other locations. I threw one away today that wasn’t even half finished — it was ridiculously gross. I think the ingredients were not proportioned properly!

The juicing industry thrives on clever marketing and packaging, and Juice Press is no exception. However, if you also have a celebrity fan base and are able to reflect the latest health food trends in your product line, then you have a business that can be quite profitable with the right choice of locations and good service. Juice Press has most of these elements in place. Interestingly, I find the raw foods at Juice Press to be a bigger draw than their juices. I have tried their oatmeal, mango chia, falafel, and kale salad, and they are all acceptably tasty. Their kale chips are a great value at $ 5(relatively speaking). Of their cold-pressed juices, my favorites are the carrot & co, green giant, and ginger fireball. I do not frequent Juice Press more than once every couple of weeks. Perhaps I should in the new year? But then I would be depriving myself of cheap Mexican, rich Italian and spicy Indian fare – too high a price to pay.

Whenever I go to the Financial District, I will stop by this place to get some of their drink or food. sweet wheatgrass: pineapple juice, wheatgrass juice, ginger juice. I wonder why it’s called«sweet» because it was super spicy from the ginger. raw falafel: almonds, sunflower seeds, and buckwheat, and served over marinated kale with olives, cucumber, tomato and red onion. The falafel was quite spicy and I was glad that there’s side of fresh salad. get rich quick sushi: raw vegan sushi made with cauliflower, jicama, sunflower seeds, cucumber, and avocado, wrapping nori. I like that it’s mostly made of vegetables rather than made with nuts which is quite refreshing to eat. quinoa nori salad: fluffy quinoa mixed with avocado and tomato marinated in a creamy sesame ginger dressing, topped with rosemary cashew cheese and baby arugula. pumpkin pie: soaked cashews, coconut meat, carrot and ginger on a brazil nut, almond crust. When I took the first bite, it was so sweet, then I realized that the first ingredient on the list is agave. I will have to be careful with raw desserts, I’m not used to sweet food anymore. matcha bow: almond milk, pumpkin seed, matcha, maca, and mesquite on top of brazil nut and buckwheat crust topped with banana and hemp seed. The desserts seems too sweet and heavy to be eaten at once. I definitely have a preference for their savory dishes. This place is one of my favorite food stop.

I think their juices, prepared meals and salads are all delicious! The staff is helpful(shout out to Phoenix) and I haven’t been disappointed with any of the products I’ve tried. I’m happy that really healthy stuff can taste so good and I can’t wait to try other things! Their prices are a bit expensive, but I think it’s also the going rate for organic, healthy, easy grab-n-go places like this. I’m happy to have a healthy option like this right around the corner from Chipotle. A customer rewards program like I’ve seen at places like Elixir would be really great and much appreciated– especially for loyal, frequent customers!

The juices taste good. Prices could be a little cheaper though. I havent gotten any salads so cant comment on that just yet… but soooooon. Also a few times I got overcharged(like a juice got scanned 2 or 3 times… what the f?)– I noticed while I was there and they fixed it but makes me WONDERWONDERWONDER… how many times did they overcharge me and I didnt notice??? love at first sight and mother earth are really groovy if you are into those green earthy good for you juices!!! yummm free samples abound… now that’s impressive. you can taste a sample before shelling out big $$$$ for a juice. They are definitely improving… I give them a 4 for effort, 5 for nice place, but factoring in the betterment that’s calling… that averages to a 3… They still need to get over that hump before I would give them a full shout out to 4 whoopping stars…

I was so ready for this place to open that in my eagerness I got to meet the construction crew! Finally! Opening day! Woohoo. Anything besides a five star for this place comes from lack of knowledge about the incredible quality they are serving up in these spots. Prices are beyond reasonable! You have to make health a priority AND a luxury in your life if you want to feel great and age less than those around you. Pay for Juice Press or eat next door and pay a doctor in a few years. I’ve been here almost daily since they opened. Service is always good. I’m grateful they opened in my neighborhood. The owner is committed to providing organic, high quality food that can and will change your life! Eat here for two weeks and I bet you’ll be able to fire your doctor. The staff is enthusiastic and welcoming… probably the best staff of all the JPs. Phoenix is my personal favorite staff member. Try the Love at First Sight green juice, iced coffee with black label, any smoothie or the probiotic yogurt non dairy drink. They have great salads, other foods and deliciously desserts without the HFCS everything is made fresh — or packaged freshly yesterday. Even for me, the pickiest eater on the planet — I can eat almost anything in the place. And trust me I do. The immaculate kitchen with glass partitions is great for the OCD freak in me. If you love the unhealthy food that 98% of restaurants in this town serve, and how awesome this food is for you scares you, you can come here anyway and enjoy the richness of the marketing campaign. I would love to give Juice Press 5 stars because their cold-pressed juices, made with all organic ingredients, are by far among the most fresh and delicious I’ve ever tasted. I discovered them recently on a two-day trip to Lower Manhattan, where this particular location was celebrating their second day open. The place is immaculate inside. The front of the restaurant houses a giant refrigerator full of freshly-made juices, with a selection unparalleled to any other juice joint I’ve been to. The back has seating, with an open kitchen where you can order smoothies and salads. The rooms are connected by a hallway that houses all the registers. Upon entry I was greeted by a friendly woman interested to know what I liked in terms of juice and ingredients, ready to point me in the right direction. I told her I like my juices green and not too sweet, and that I drink a lot of kale and wanted something different. She then recommended a juice blend dominated by fennel and arugula — two greens that I typically go out of my way to avoid eating. But let me tell you, this juice(the«Be Fit,» to be exact) was delicious. If you’ve never experienced drinking your veggies, this would be an excellent entry into the game for you. The only reason I can’t give the fifth star as much as I’d like to, is that this one 17-ounce bottle of juice cost $ 12 with tax. I realize that fresh, organic produce is expensive, as is New York City real estate. And frankly, if I was drinking this as a meal replacement, it might not seem that bad. But I was indeed starving just a little while later and still ended up having a late breakfast. The point being — the whole healthy-living, juicing thing is pretty expensive. I was not told of one either of the two days I came in for a juice, but hopefully they have an affinity program of some kind. I would think that customers willing to pony up this kind of money would be rewarded for their loyalty. I would be willing to make a deal, however: Open up a juice press in East Brunswick, NJ where I live, and not only will I go all-out with 5 stars, I’ll come in at least once a day! :)
