K Tasty Dumpling

Sexy ass sexy dumplings. 4 for a dollar. And really damn good. Perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, pillowy soft and savory on the inside. And 4 for a dollar. Freakin awesome.
We also got some really damn good noodle soup that fried our brains and tongues with goodness. Spicy, over-​sized, and full of fresh stuff. And some items that we couldn’t identify, but I’m pretty sure they were veggies of some sort.
Two bowls of soup and a dozen dumplings. Just under $ 20 with a couple bottles of water. I’ll be back for more.

The fried dumplings were okay, 4 for a dollar can’t really go wrong. Boiled dumplings were also 4 for a dollar, slightly better than the fried. They use to have Chinese food here, I guess not anymore. I wanted to try General Tsos chicken here, I guess I missed out. Would rather go to Prosperity or Vanessa’s for most dumpling needs.

My lunch consisting of their beef noodles and an eggplant skewer was nutritious, delicious, and hit the spot. It was good value for the money as the two items I ordered cost less than 8 bucks. According to Tiffany, who belongs to the family running the restaurant, their featured assortment of 20-​some noodle dishes uses Szechwan spices. Twenty seven Szechwan spices are used to make the chicken broth that serves as the foundation for these noodle dishes. Chinese folklore holds that this chicken broth detoxifies the body and is especially rejuvenating during the cold winter months. I found it so good that I plan to head back even before winter.

This dumpling house is one if my favorite in Chinatown! Not only is it cheep and delicious but clean with A/​C and a restroom! I feel comfortable eating here, plenty of space to eat and enjoy! Some dumpling houses like Prosperity a few feet away are so cramped and hot! Great place would definitely recommend the pork and chive steamed or pan fried! 6 for $ 1…can’t beat it!

We just recently moved back to NYC and were lucky enough to land an apartment in Chinatown. From what I can tell, K Tasty and Panda Dumpling House are the same. Must be a new name. I think you will find the reviews of Panda to be very helpful.
My boyfriend walked to K Tasty and ordered us some dinner. He ordered the hand pulled noodles with vegetable and egg for me and the Walnut shrimp for himself. We both got vegetable dumplings. They don’t have walnut shrimp on the menu but were kind enough to make it for him. He was very happy with their wonderful service. He also loved his food. I loved my noodle soup so much and ate it way too fast. The noodles were an excellent texture and flavor. The soup came with bok choy and a fried egg. So delicious! Sorry, I ate it too fast to take a photo.

We stopped by for a quick bite cause we were craving hand-​pulled noodles. I love small mom & pop joints, but the food was eh. I ordered the beef stew noodle soup. The soup was bland, the noodles was a small portion and I think I managed to located 3 or 4 small pieces of beef. They did throw a fried egg on top so that was a nice surprise. The scallion pancake was bland as well, kinda like a salty crêpe more than a scallion pancake. My friend ordered the soy sauce fried noodles, what arrived was more like some dark sauce with minced pork thrown on top of noodles with a side of cucumbers. Interesting. I’d go back to try their other stuff cause I like mom & pop spots but it’s not I left jumping for joy.

I’m only basing this on their dumplings, which are as good as Prosperity dumplings. you get 4 for $ 1. They are really friggin good. It’s a small take out/​eat in joint but their service is quick and friendly. I’m definitely going back to try their other dishes — beef and broccoli (i know, i know, it’s not authentic chinese but everyone was ordering it) — and others. Cheap prices!
