Ripoff — they took the money and ran, never to be heard from again despite many tries to contact them.

I rarely write negative reviews but this situation warrants one.
Went to their «store» to order a shirt. They seemed friendly at first — ordered 2 french cuff shirts with their Google deal (40% off shirts). Mind you, this was June 21^st, 2013.
A month later I get a call saying my shirts are ready. Went to their «store», and tried it on. Was literally 4 sizes bigger — I looked like a child rummaging through his parent’s closet trying on XXL dress shirts. So much for a «super slim fit».
The person working there says just needs some «minor» alterations, even though the shoulders didn’t fit at all.
Fast forward to end of August… no response. I tracked down the number he called me from a month ago, and the gentleman on the other line says he does not work there anymore and to call this other guy. I call this guy, he says the shirt had to be re-​ordered and re-​tailored and should be ready by first week of September.
First week already passed — still nothing. Tried to call him, he hung up on me.
Guess I am not getting my shirts. Will be asking for a refund. If they don’t process my refund, will be calling my bank to process it for me.
And yes, you can trust MY review because the other ones are obviously fake (all reviews made between same time period, not specific at all, etc).
Avoid this place. Period. Go to a real tailor/​MTM brick and mortar.

Great suits and great service! I used to buy my suits and shirts at a chain, «big name» retailer where the employees would tell me that I looked like James Bond in any suit just to make the sale. Not the case at Legacy!
I genuinely felt the tailor and other employees wanted what was best for me. They made me a custom suit that fits like a glove, looks sharp, and that I feel comfortable in. Couldn’t believe the price I paid was so low. I will definitely be making all my future purchases at Legacy NY.

I had an awesome experience. I looked at a few places for a suit before i came across Legacy and they really helped me choose a suit at a great price. The staff was great and very knowledgeable. Legacy New York is definitly my go to place for suits.
