This place sucks… I go through the trouble of looking the place up to find out what time they closed… 8:00pm is the time they are suppose to close, so I walk into the store and ask for a salad at 7:20pm… Why is it that I didn’t get to get my salad because they are closed!!! I’m sooooo mad I didn’t get my damn salad!!!

Not good… I was craving a buffalo chicken sandwich and the cutlets were suuuuuper mushy and soggy to the point that my $ 9 sandwich was inedible and I had to throw ¾ of it away. Just tasted like an old reheated cutlet, not crispy or blue chees-y at all. Also it took almost 15 mins to come out and you have to ask at the front for napkins salt pepper etc.

Hungover on a Saturday afternoon. I had my friend pick up a scooped out everything bagel with lox, onions, and cream cheese with grapefruit juice. It literally hit the spot. They charged extra for scooping out the bagel which looked no different than the one that wasn’t scooped out which was disappointing, but honestly I was in no place to complain. I’m so glad I don’t have one near my home or else I’d be going everyday. Definitely recommend for a simple breakfast/brunch!

Really fresh food! I always make my own wrap with a ton of veggies. Reasonably priced. Sometimes the service can be a bit slow.

When on the run and you want to grab breakfast or lunch, you cannot go wrong with Lenwich. They have very good lunch menu selections that include interesting food combinations. Their service is friendly and fast along with reasonable prices.

It’s located right on first ave between 68th and 69th Street and it’s a pretty convenient sandwich shop since I work at the hospital right across the street. They serve other things like salads, wraps, bagels, and other breakfast items. Service is fast and there’s a seating area, but during lunch time it gets really crowded. I guess that’s a good and bad thing because it’s a popular spot for their sandwiches, but sometimes hard to find seating. I’ve gotten the Lenwich sandwich on a hero, which came out to a little over $ 10. So it’s a bit pricey. It’s a hot pastrami, corned beef, melted Swiss, coleslaw, with a Russian sandwich, and let me tell you that I have never ever been a fan of coleslaw, but if it’s in the Lenwich sandwich I’ll definitely eat it. Every time I get it it always hits the spot. I definitely recommend it if you aren’t sure of what to order. Bread was very soft and it’s like everything in the sandwich fit perfectly together. Service is fast, sandwich was made in under 5 minutes during lunch hour. You pay for whatever you want to buy once you order it. The place is generally kept clean although sometimes I do notice a few flies flying around in the place.

To be brutally honest, this place is nothing special. I ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks for 25 $. The food definitely was not that great for the price, they really skimped out on the dressing and filled most of the sandwich with lettuce. The sandwiches are not very big! I left half-full and very disappointed.

We got catering from this place for a work event, and I really enjoyed the wraps I had: 1. Tuna salad wrap: It tasted fresh and had the right amount of flavor. It wasn’t very runny, which can be a problem with tuna salads. 2.(Fried) chicken wrap: Well, this is a first, but it works! It’s literally fried breaded chicken breast in the wrap. I also had a plate of brownies and cookies, which were all pretty awesome!

This place is horrible, we ordered 2 omelette platters with home fries and toast, first when we asked to exchange the home fries and toast for a side salad the manager wouldn’t allow it. Then we got home fries that was at least 2 days old. In conclusion food wasn’t fresh and service is poor. I would not come back here again.

I always get the chicken teriyaki hero! It’s an amazing sandwich place! Very nice décor. Clean environment. Ample seating. Decent prices and great food, but at least a 5 to 10 minute wait. If you’re in a lunch hurry, then I would suggest you order on Seamless and then pick it up, which is what I usually do. You can get it delivered via Seamless, but they charge a $ 1.75 delivery fee and you have to tip separately — not worth it.

Came here expecting the worst but it actually ended up being ok. I got here at around 5pm to pick up a sandwich for dinner at work and there was like no one in the restaurant. I have to admit, the décor kind of surprised me since I had imagined it to be a mess but the tables were actually really clean and the ordering area was pretty spacious. The workers were also all really nice. I got the #1 Lenwich for $ 8.70 and I thought it was alright. It has pastrami, corned beef, cole slaw, Russian dressing, and some sort of cheese so it’s basically an NYC Reuben sandwich. While it was tasty, it wasn’t mindblowing. It was filling though so the price tag is reasonable. Overall, just another typical establishment nestled among a whole slew of other mediocre restaurants in a super dull neighborhood :/

Let me preface this by saying that Lenny’s is pretty expensive, and I will not be a regular. I have gone twice for lunch and both times, my total is been shy of $ 10(and that’s without a drink!) You can get a sandwich or salad. They actually have a small selection of hot entrees as well. My favorite sandwich is the Emma(ham, turkey, cole slaw, russian dressing, swiss cheese) on a hero. I added alfafa sprouts one time, and it was delicious. The wait time is really short, even during the lunch rush hour. The sandwich makers are super fast, and you pay for your sandwich before you get it, so it’s really efficient. If the prices were a bit lower, I would totally be here multiple times a week. But alas, it’s not sustainable on a graduate student budget. Protip: If you download their app or Levelup, you can get $ 7 off your first purchase!

I stop here every morning on my way to work for a cup of coffee. The customer service is phenomenal; I am in and out without any wait! The employees are always extremely polite and enthusiastic. I ordered a breakfast sandwich the other morning and was delighted with the taste. Could not see myself visiting any other morning spot!

I have been here several times!!! They are always oh so busy. Since it is very close to the hospital, there is no surprise there. They have a sandwich station and a salad station. My reviews is for the salads. They are delicious, fresh ingredients and a variety of ingredients. The establishment is clean and tidy. They are quick on service. I love having my salad with mixed greens and grilled chicken. Great spot for lunch. However do not expect to find a table, during lunch hour unless you arrive there at 12pm on the dot. If you can take your lunch to go, then do take out.

This is my «safe» place. I come here when I want food I know will be good. The best sandwich place I know and they have a few locations spread throughout the city.

I have lunch here at least once a week. Fast service and fresh ingredients. I always order the #2 Italian, and substitute Provolone with Pepper Jack cheese. They are going to implement a rewards program soon so I’m really excited for that!

Service is slow, slow, slow. Seating is cramped. And if you order delivery, they will likely send someone who speaks zero English with your incorrect order. And damn, the food is not great enough for the price.

Hadn’t been here in long time but had to stop in since I was in the neighborhood at lunch time. So glad I did the Greek salad was just as good as i remembered(get the sesame dressing yummmm). And the salads are NOT over priced like most salad places in NYC. The staff is friendly and efficient, plenty of seating even during busy lunch hour and the place is always clean.

Stopped in here when a relative was having surgery nearby. I ordered a #1 and was very underwhelmed. The sandwich took almost 15 mins to come out and this was well after the lunch rush. The sandwich itself had hardly any flavor and for $ 8 was pretty anemic looking. Being NYC, when I order a sandwich, I expect it to be able to feed a small army. If I’m in the area again, I’ll be skipping Lenny’s.

Stopped in here for lunch when I was nearby in the city. I was looking for something healthy. They offer lots of chicken options so I decided on grilled chicken with 3 sides. They didn’t have enough sides for the 3… seriously…so I had to load up on broccoli. They also had mac and cheese which was too watery for me. Glad I was able to get the NY style no frills service(sarcasm). Too high priced for what they offer. Food is average… chicken was dry. They have sandwiches on the menu but it reminds me of subway but higher prices.
