New spa center for a company that is experienced in the at-​home spa services.
Aside from the slightly creepy basement level entrance, my experience was good.
You can book a same day appointment but call because this location is appointment only and staff require ~1 hr to show up (they mentioned their online booking will be updated to show this).
Sharon was very professional and my Gommage body scrub was just what the doctor ordered for this blustery winter.
The room and table were very clean and well lit and Sharon was great about turning up or down the space heater during my treatment as needed.
The scrub and moisturizing lotion smelled really fresh but not overpowering (Thalgo is the brand). My skin feels great all over.
My only complaint would be the state of the bathroom and shower. It’s not as renovated as the rest of the spa and a bug crawled out of the shower (I know, it’s NY and this happens) but I was a little put off.
My scrub was about 40 minutes and I was able to use my SpaFinder gift certificate for the $ 80 + tax/​tip.
I’ll go back to check out the massage menu.
Four stars if they reno that bathroom and maybe add some mood music.
