I bring friends (and family) in whenever I can — because the selection and the shopping experience always puts me in the best mood! i don’t think I’ve ever walked out without a purchase (for myself or a gift for others)! Liana has an incredible eye. period. Between she and her amazing staff, you’ll always find the right look and feel great wearing it. I have been going to Liana for many (many) years and even when I’ve moved to other cities, I would always wait to shop at Liana’s! YOu can’t go wrong.

This has been my go-​to store for years! When I need a dress for an event, have a big meeting at work, or just need some seasonal basics, this is my first stop. Their staff is always a great help. They will encourage you to experiment and try on new styles that I must admit often become my new favorite pieces that I wear time and time again.
They have great work outfits. Dresses that can be dressed up or worn casually on the weekend. Plus great fitting jeans to sweaters. It’s a small store but filled with great items. I refer it Liana’s as curated department store. Brands you can find at Bloomies/​etc but without all of the hassle and endless aisles.
So appreciate the staff’s honest with feedback on fit and their help in selecting items. Highly recommend!

My favorite clothing store. I have been going for about 15 years. The store is small but the selection is perfect for great work clothes and stylish casual clothes. The staff is so helpful. They find perfect dresses that I would not even think of trying on. They do not push you to buy anything and are really honest about how things look. It is so much nicer than running around different floors and departments in a large department store. Liana is a great buyer with a good eye. My biggest problem is that I like too much and have to wattle down my selection do I can come back again. I always get compliments on what I end up with and they are all classily stylish so I a where them for years. Best clothes store ever.

This is my favorite shop in Manhattan. Liana always picks out the best dressed for me — often ones I never would have tried on but that become staples in my wardrobe. Whenever I have friends in from out of town, they want to go to Liana.

The rudest retail experience I’ve ever had. I bought a dress back in August from Liana. The dress wrinkles so horribly hat I can’t wear it into work. I even spoke with the manufacturer who confirmed the fabric has a problem.
When I went in to see if they had a solution. The owner basically told me it wasn’t a problem, there had never been a complaint about the dress before, and that I wasted her time. She then hinted that it was because iwas heavy. Zero sympathy, zero acknowledgement that the dress could have issues. This has nothing to do with wanting a refund, and everything to do with basic customer service.

Love Liana. Great selection for work or nice casual wear. Ask Liana to put an outfit together for you. She has a wonderful eye — for younger and older women. True story: I came in five years ago at age 50 and asked her to outfit me for a first date (
…guy seemed promising). First date turned into a week of dates into marriage. It has also become my go-​to place for jewelry for myself or for presents.

After seeing reviews I couldn’t wait to check out this store, hoping it would b my new favorite boutique. It has very nice things but not the kind of things I like. Most of their stuff is suits, work dresses etc. There r a few other more casual clothes but felt the inventory lacked that sorta hip fun Saturday night out kinda clothes. They were very nice and there was no pushiness. I may try again in the fall buy am not hopeful it will fulfill my desires.

I am a professional woman. I have been going to this mother-​daughter-​aunt boutique for at least two decades. This is what a «boutique» is meant to be. Personalized service, guidance with taste. It is my favorite place to shop in the whole wide world.
For starters, they know how to buy, so I find a high percentage of their clothing to be appealing, well-​chosen, select. For a small store, there’s a tremendous inventory. And they have all sizes. And good designer labels.
Next, the service is superb. They look at your body type and suggest clothes that are right for you. None of the «everyone’s gotta fit into the latest» nonsense. Some of my favorite clothing items in my closet were suggested by Liana herself.
Third, they listen to feedback. They re-​stock clothes that are successful with their customers. If they tell me an item has been working for other customers, or that other customers have come in to buy the same item again in a different color, I know it’s a good deal. I got a super pair of cargo pants there this summer that way.
There are six changing rooms in the back, and I have met nice women using the communal mirror. There’s a good vibe. I have gone by myself and made friends there.
But over the years I have come to know the people who run the place, and their non-​family staff seems to stay around, which tells me they treat their employees well. That matters to me.
But beyond all else, they have style. It’s a guarantee that you will walk out of there lighter in the wallet but thrilled with what you have in the signature red bag you are clutching gleefully.

its been a family run business for decades, and they run it with professionalism, class, and of course, STYLE! their brands range from my favorite, theory, tahari, michael stars, and even vera wang.
liana, her mother eunsook, and her aunt hyunsook, are all very warm, accomodating, and give the best advice handpicking from their selection on the best fit and look for you. ive never been dissapointed when i leave the store, and all the clothes ive gotten from the store liana, ive always gotten compliments~
