This spot is too small unfortunately. I came here with my mother, my cousin’s husband and his dad. we hardly had anywhere to sit. The desserts were alright.

I came here with a friend for dessert. When I came in I noticed many options to choose from all of which were very appealing. We ordered the A. 01 which was the Special Mango Juice Sago & Pomelo w/Mango Ice Cream. They ran out of Mango Ice Cream and instead of the Mango we had the Vanilla Ice Cream. Overall, it was good and flavorful, but I would have liked to tried the Mango Ice Cream.

I always hit up ice cream shops when I get back to NY — main expense on my credit card bill and main reason for the weight gain. I ordered the triple ice cream delight: green tea, mango, durian. It came with whip cream that I had to scoop off — I wish I knew. The ice cream was not overwhelmingly sweet nor fake tasting and I was surprised to enjoy the durian flavor. It’s not as strong as other durian food. It’s baby scoops and I think it came with pocky sticks. Mango slush: you can get this anywhere… I suggest getting something different. Unless you specifically came here for mango. Green tea ice cream with waffle: ehhh the waffle sucked — bland, not crunchy and just not appetizing. The ice cream saved this dish. Cash only!

Mango Mango lives up to its name as almost every single dessert on the menu has mango in it. This place is great for grabbing a refreshing, fruit-filled dessert. The store itself is pretty small with only a couple of tables and stools inside. It tends to get packed at night, so it may be difficult to get a seat. What to get is the Mango Juice with Sago and Glutinous Rice Ball. This dessert is packed full of mango pieces, mango juice, sago, and the super chewy glutinous rice ball. And right in the center is a scoop of mango ice cream. It’s super refreshing!

I’ve been to this store a few times now. The drinks and desserts are always good, especially if you are a mango lover like me! It is good for groups of 2 – 7, depending on how many people are already in the store. Large variety of asian flavored fruits and jellies. Pros: Service is pretty fast(except for waffles, see cons). Drinks go for 3 – 4 dollars. Show your student ID to get a free upgrade size for drinks. They have a stamp card, so if you buy any 10 items you can get 1 for free.(Order the items separately though) Cons: There tends to be a durian after taste in the ice cream, even if you only ordered mango ice cream. If you order the fresh fruit waffle, there tends to be a bit of a wait ~30 minutes.

Really nothing very special about this place. For Chinatown, I would expect decadent desserts unlike any I could get in a non-ethnic dessert place. I asked the cashier which she recommended, and she pointed me to the most popular – I ended up getting number A10, which was a mango dish with black glutonious rice balls. The dish was pretty expensive($ 6+) for a small portion, and the mangos tasted frozen and the rice balls had no flavor. The ice on the bottom was pretty good, but nothing special – simply flavored ice that I could get from an Italian ice truck.

The Snow White Slush-O(mango juice and coconut cream with jelly on the bottom) is a great way to beat the heat, but they tend to be skimpy with the coconut cream, so much of the dessert tastes like colorful water toward the end. The space is small, with only enough seating for maybe a dozen people total.

Mango mango was one of my to-go places for crêpe. However my last visit has made me think otherwise about that. I’m never coming back for another crêpe or anything else. Mango Mochi — The Mochi was soft, chewy, and delicious. However the mango piece inside was sour and hairy. I expected a soft and sweet mango because that’s how it was always. But somehow today it was very disappointing. Who knows if the other mangos are also sour. Mango Crêpe — The crêpe was crunchy and hard to cut through. I’m assuming they made the batter wrong? If you know that your crêpe isn’t soft or even edible, why the hell is would you sell it and give it to a customer. I expect you to make a new crêpe batter. Not sell this piece of crap that isn’t even a crêpe. I provided a picture of how my crêpe was. It was disgusting and hard. I couldn’t even cut through it with the plastic knife provided for the customers. Not to mention, the cashier was socializing and getting way too close to a guy. I came at December 7, 20154:30PM. Feel free to see who was working at this time and give her a talk(look at the camera if you don’t believe me). She and some guy was a centimeter away from kissing. That is inappropriate especially when she’s working. If she needed some time with her boyfriend, she should have stepped outside for a few seconds and do her business. Instead, she did it over the counter. Unbelievable and unprofessional.

Came here after dinner cause my friend really liked this place, I on the other hand don’t like anything mango so I was a little sketchy about coming here. After browsing the menu for a minute I decided on the snow white strawberry drink that they have on the wall and my friend got the green tea sandwich waffle. I must say I am in love with this drink! First of all it has so many layers it’s mind blowing how they go so well with each other. On the bottom there is some clear jello thing I have yet to figure out and then on top of it is strawberry ice(and I’m talking about the real fruit strawberry not the artificial syrup things that some places put) on top of that is coconut Icey and then they sprinkle cut up strawberries on top! ONEWORD– PERFECTION! My friends green tea waffle took a while to come out, the waffle was crisp and warm and they sandwich green tea ice cream in between… It was good but nothing mind blowing compared to my drink. I have been here before when they first opened and didn’t remember them having much of a variety of other fruits. I am glad I gave this place a second chance because it’s made its way to the top of my dessert list :)

The Mango, Lychee jelly, strawberry, and mango ice cream is the BOMB. Usually no wait, and service is fast(i mean, it’s some toppings and a scoop of ice cream, so…). Downside is that they’re cash only(for a place that has most items priced over $ 5, i think they should start taking card). Come on, get with the trend. Another downside is that sometimes the interior feels stuffy — with a weird smell that resembles a wet towel that hasn’t been dried… but it’s only sometimes. I’d recommend this place!

I’m definitely a fan! This place is very small and located next to the Chinese ice cream factory. The day we visited it was raining. We got lucky because a group left right when we got there, so a place for us to sit and dry off. We ordered 4 different specials. The one that stood out was the mango and black sticky rice. That was so good! One of my friends ordered a Durian one which the smell and taste was so overpowering. It reminded me of rotten onions. She ended up eating that one by herself. She enjoyed every bit of it. If you love mangoes then this is your spot!

Perfect place to come with a friend or two for dessert. Every time I’ve come here, the tables are almost all taken, so make sure to grab an open one as soon as you see it if you are not getting your food to go. The oversized pictures of select desserts that cover one wall makes it easier to decide what to order, because the menu descriptions are pretty vague. A.16, which has a scoop of mango ice cream, glutinous rice balls, and mango pieces in mango juice, is my favorite. I love rice balls(kind of like smaller, unfilled tangyuan) even more than mochi for its sticky chewiness. This dessert is syrupy sweet but still refreshing in the summer. I’ve also had A.26, which has black glutinous rice and mango pieces in snow white juice. We added on a scoop of green tea ice cream for $ 1. The black rice was hard and dry, so the dessert was underwhelming. I’ve had the same thing at Beautiful Memory and don’t remember it being any better. Since their other dessert was good, I’d give them a second chance in case this was an off night.

This place reminds me of Hui Lau Shan, in Hong Kong, which is also a mango desert chain, but at half the price. This place is a heaven for mango lovers like me. Each desert will cost around $ 6 which is not that cheap. I think it was cash only. There is a small seating area inside, which you should take advantage of, especially if your desert has ice cream in it. I opted for the mango desert with sago, and it was omg amazing. Perfect place to enjoy some mango after a delicious meal in Chinatown.

June 22 @ 5:35pm Today Mango Mango deserves a 5 star because the cashier was friendly unlike the last time I came. She greeted me friendly and handed us our food and drinks when we were sitting down. The other time I went, the lady made us get everything on our own :(. The food is still delicious and I will never give up on my snow white mango slush-o with sago. The vanilla ice cream tasted a tad like durian but that’s fine, makes it interesting. Like I said, this place is the only place that advertises real sago. Absolutely delicious. Also it takes a while to get seats(most likely it is summer time and they have free AC). Will be back Mango Mango!

Mango Mango is definitely one of the best place in Chinatown for desserts. The store itself is not very big(No washrooms here) and there is around 4 – 5 tables so sometimes it’s hard to get a seat. I love Mango Mango. Their mango is always so fresh and ripe. My favorite is the Snow White signature drink, it’s a mango flavor slush with a layer of jelly bottom and coconut foam on the top. You can even order it without the coconut foam if you don’t like coconut. They also have crêpes too, which is not bad. I always order the Combos to go. I would recommend to all those mango lovers out there and of course they have other flavors too but mango is definitely their top favorites.

This is my go-to usual dessert place while I’m in Chinatown. Décor and ambience are great as they also provide an abundance of seats. I usually order any dessert with mango in it and/or ice cream. The mango drinks here aren’t bad either. My only complaint here today was that my strawberry and banana crêpe with green tea ice cream had an aftertaste of durian. And I had durian with a passion. My guess is that they cross contaminated the utensils without washing it before making my order. Either that or they simply just dipped the spoons/knives in water without washing it throughly, then made my order. Other than that, I don’t really have any complaints about this place. They also offer free wifi and that’s a plus! It’s often crowded so you know the desserts here are good.

So much mango that the name warrants repeating it twice… Probably never would have discovered Mango squared if I hadn’t been brought here. It’s a teeny tiny little place just off Mott. You’d think its proximity to Chinatown Ice Cream Factory would hurt business, but it was consistently busy while we were there. Only a few tables which go quickly. I love the selection of desserts on the menu. Everything is all fresh fruit and lots of yummy things like coconut milk ice, red bean, lychee jelly, ice cream, sago, the list goes on. I ended up getting a dessert of mango, coconut milk, lychee jelly, and red bean. Sooo good! It would be perfect if they had more seating, but it’s definitely worth going if you’re in the area.
