Normally I don’t like to rate doctors. I don’t want random strangers to ponder about my health nor do I want the doctor’s office to identify me and make it ever so awkward for me to return visit. «Hey, there’s that dude who gave us one star. Lets just put a dynamite in his chest and have it go off in 2020 for the funnies» Nope. But since I want the coveted«First Reviewers» badge, I’ve decided to step outside of my comfort zone and give Doctor Meyers a shout out. I scheduled a visit via ZocDoc(sorry Unilocal!) and the registration process was very easy. You have the options to fill out the forms beforehand to save you some hassle. This location is pretty anal about making sure they get paid, so they actually hold onto your credit card information and make you sign an authorization note to charge the bill not covered by insurance to your card. If you’re somewhat skeptical about a smooth insurance procedure, this clause may inconvenience you. Now onto the doctoring itself. Unlike some other cardiologists I’ve been to, this one takes an ultrasound and EKG right off the bat. The procedures were quick but thorough. Because of this, Dr. Meyer had a pretty good read on the situation just 40 minutes into the visit. Obviously, the most important criteria for the doctor is the accuracy of his diagnosis. That I really cannot give you(maybe check back in a few years? lol). The other criteria like professionalism, friendliness, bed-side manners Dr Meyers has in spades. I will say that Dr Meyers sounded extremely confident. Throughout the visit, I’ve had a hunch that this guy really knew what he was talking about and was eager to get you on the same page.
