I went to DR. Coghill last week. She has been my doctor for quite some time. She is very thorough and great with referrals for specialist.

Don’t do it. There is a reason comments are closed on zocdoc. Dr. Coghill DOES go through your records carefully and go through a lot of questions, but she does nothing for you. She carefully states that she is not sure she will be able to address all of your concerns, but slowly asks a million questions and types your answers into some online database. Her brother the office manager comes in before hand and gives a strange talk about not asking the doctor to deal with any actual issues if it is only an annual physical/check up. If you chose to select your own specialists they are demeaning and condescending. Very strange. If you want to see a primary care physician who is thorough and will get tests, immunizations, scans, and tell you who some top specialists in their fields are, and address all concerns that you have in a professional and educational manner without being disrespectful, go somewhere else(Weill Cornell and NYU provide great options).

Yea, this office has no interest in keeping patients. I visited Dr. Coghill specifically: Started going here because it was conveniently located. I had appointments with two doctors in the office at various times. The office staff consistently dropped the ball: Appointments were canceled without notification, I was kept waiting for over an hour more than once, and I was billed exorbitant amounts for a routine checkup that was covered by insurance. They refused to admit wrongdoing. And then the other day I was forced to call and ask for an emergency prescription refill on my rescue inhaler. They promised to call me back after calling the pharmacy. I never received a call. Two days later I called the pharmacy to learn they had never been contacted. The office had decided I needed to come in for another appointment but didn’t seem to think I needed to know. Having already switched PCPs(my office moved) I was forced to go in for an additional appointment with my new doctor that was entirely unnecessary given that the old doctor had the entire history of my asthma symptoms. This office is incompetent, and the staff and doctors have no interest in keeping patients or doing what is necessary for their health.

PLEASEAVOIDTHISPLACEATALLCOST. I called to schedule an appointment for a tb test for school. The staff was extremely rude and seemed incompetent. After talking to the secretary as if she were a five year old so that she could understand me, I was able to make an appointment. The doctor called me back ten minutes later with a number for another clinic to have the test done since he said he didn’t have the proper paper work. That number was invalid as that clinic didn’t even give tb test. When I called back he informed me «I don’t have time for this nonsense!» wtf!!! When did patient care become so slack.
