I am not a review person at all, but this company right here is absolutely ridiculous. I am currently waiting for my refund and it is well over the time I should have received it. When I was able to talk to someone she thought it was funny and took me as a joke. I can not wait until I get my money back I will never order another thing from this company. You get your money back quicker with Macys and that is a high end company with plenty more customers than Monif C.

I am so disgusted with the customer service I have received from Monif C. I will never ever purchase anything from this retailer again. I timely returned a dress in October 2015 and to date I still have not received my credit and it is February 2016. After corresponding many times via email and not even having my call returned, I received either an excuse or no response at all, I just give up. They can have the dress and the money, too much of my time and effort has been put into this. Monif C has lost me as a customer forever and I will make sure not to refer this retailer to my friends.

Im totally dissatisfied with the level of service i received this your company. I made a purchase which i had to return. My return was received December 18 and here it is January 14 and im still awaiting a credit. Each time, i contacted a customer service agent im told i have to wait(each phone call i was given a different time frame). Ive always watched and admired the clothing on their website, but after the service i received i doubt ill ever be a customer again!!!

the clothes look cute but you better be sure to order the right size and fit your first time around. I ordered the Charlene and the fit was off. They charge you for shipping and also the shipping return. Once you have paid almost 30 $ in ground shipping you have only a 2 week turnaround total to return the garment or its yours no matter what. After you spend $ 25-$ 30 total in shipping and return you must run that some day to make it within the 14 day time frame. After that it will take them a few days to confirm receipt of your item and hold your refund for a month after that. For me its not worth having a cute garment that only looks good on the rack and I have to hustle to return .they should take a not from ASOS as far as shipping. Not worth the hassle.

I wish I could give zero stars. Ordered online and selected 2 day shipping, 4 business days later I still have not even received an email saying the dress was shipped. I have sent multiple emails that have not been returned and also called the 888 number for customer service and their prompt system doesn’t work so I can’t get connected to anyone. Beyond disappointed at how unprofessional this company is.

After many voicemails and calls not returned, I finally sent an email today. 2 swimsuit items I bought are oversized. Tags still on and in original shipping bags. Attempted to find out what actually happened and was shut down. I was told it is a business and in order for them to stay open they are unable to help me since the 14 day return period had passed. I didn’t waste $ 12 to send items back because I wanted to be sure I knew my options and if my final sale item would even be accepted for exchange or refund. (I didn’t want to waste another penny if it would be for nothing) I would have liked to return the items and have a store credit issued but the rep that called me refused to offer a solution. Made me feel like I was talking to a machine and not a person with any feelings. Customer service wasn’t shown today on the phone and that saddens me. I really thought Monif C was better than this. Note: for anyone that ever has an issue, email them asap. Do not waste time calling. Best of luck.

The only problem I have is that there wasn’t a ton of product… But it’s a boutique soooo I live in CA so it was awesome to visit the shop and try the different styles on for size. When you shop on the web you miss out on the look, the fit, and the feel. I found the clothes to be true to size. The colors were vibrant and the quality was good. Angelica helped with choices and offered great suggestions based on the my style. I found her to be very helpful and pleasant. I will return before I head back to Cali. The clothes are great!

I actually want to give 3 and half stars. though can’t since the app wouldn’t let me. I was able to locate the store easily though had a hard time getting to the store. Prolly coz I’m not a new yorker and not used to the buzzing system, I wasn’t sure if the door was buzzing open or not. though it finally did and I went upstairs.(it did seem that they weren’t happy with the buzzing situation-though this is where I lost the half star). I went in there, the staff helped me pick out a perfect size n style, though THEREWERENOMIRRORSINTHEDRESSINGROOM. that was awkward. they were outside in the main area. I was trying on swimsuits and didn’t feel comfortable walking around in new swimsuits in the store in front of strangers figuring how it looks. i know I would do the same at the beach, but that would be different since I know how the swimsuit looks on me there and be confident about it.(that’s where I lost 1 star) Though apart from that, liz recognized me immediately as we had spoken before and the other associate was friendly as well. Only 1 advice: every one is different, a mirror in the dressing room might help with your customers comfort levels.

I stopped back in the Monif C. Manhattan showroom today, and was so excited at the changes I’d seen! The attendant had in stock all but 1 of the styles I wanted to try on. And I hadnt been there long when Monif herself came out to say hello… such a privilege! The attendant was able to provide a few styling accessories for my fitting which really helped me decide which pieces I loved best and wanted to purchase. Yes! This is it! This is why I shop at showrooms & designer boutiques! Personal attention, detail, a true luxury experience. Thank you so much, Monif, for renewing my faith in your brand. Cant wait to come back!

UPDATE as of July 16, 2015 After I posted this review, I had a conversation with a friend and she suggested I contact Monif C directly. I assume since the final sale information was included in my package, I was pretty much stuck with a suit I didn’t want. I did send an email over discussing my issues. I received a reply within a few days and an offer to issue a store credit to me for future use. This was the perfect solution for me and I’m so glad I decided to send the email. Nowadays, people use social media mostly to complain or post disparaging comments about people and businesses. It was important to me to revise my review and let everyone know that the customer service I received from Angelica at Monif C was a refreshing surprise and completely changed my mind about my experience with the company. I will most certainly continue to be a customer and look forward to my next purchase. ***************************************************************************** So disappointed. This was my first and possibly my last purchase with Monif C. I’ve been on the mailing list and huge fan of these designs for years. It’s always been slightly out of my budget. There was a swim suit sale a couple weeks ago and I decided to purchase the Tahiti One Shoulder suit in Orange. On the site, it’s a beautiful burnt/copper orange. I got the bathing suit and it is a light highlighter/emergency cone orange. I am so unhappy with this color. It’s a final sale so I’m stuck with it and will never wear it. I saw the suit on 3 separate computers as well as on my smartphone and the color looks NOTHING like the color I received. I would’ve never ordered it if I knew it was this color. Now I’m afraid to order anything from the site now.

thought this was a store… it’s not. It’s a room with a few dresses and swimsuits that I’m not sure if you can just buy, or if you have to order. None of it looked appealing, so it really didn’t matter. There were a couple of unfriendly people at the desk who never spoke to us, so I really haven’t a clue how the place works.
