Mr Chicken

So, the place is called Mr Chicken but for all the times I’ve been (which due to it’s strategic location is quite a lot), I’ve never eaten the chicken there.
Given some other reviews, and given the fact I’m not really a fan of fried chicken I suppose I might never.
However, if you’re nearby, it’s well worth a detour to pick up a couple of samosas. The biriyani is also very good, but honestly I’ll order it «veggie» from now on – all the flavour is in the rice, not in the meat.

We had a burger, spicy chicken wings, fried chicken and the chicken biryani. Nothing stellar, overall tasty. Service was a little slow bc some things were ready and some was cooked to order, but it was friendly. None of us got sick either.
We were in the neighborhood and gave it a try. It’s a good option for people who prefer eating halal. They are thinking of adding on some curies. Seems menu is still developing.

Not the worst chicken. No food poisoning and no mystery parts.
I ordered the three 3 piece special (drums and thighs with a box of fries for $ 4.99 + tax… or $ 5.43).
The fries were made to order and served in a considerably full box. The chicken, however, was sitting on their oven tray that didn’t even look like it had a heat lamp. They packed my chicken into the box and then started making the fries. So even if there was heating, the chicken was room temperature by the time I got it.
Since I brought my food home, I was able to reheat it. Juicy white meat chicken, but again, soggy because of how it had just been sitting.
The people who work there are super friendly though. They also have a good selection of deals and a strange drink selection (canned Campbell’s tomato juice??). Fountain drink refills are $ 0.50 each.
Also, they say they’re open 24 hours, but I’ve seen them closed. A LOT.

Nothing special

Geez, maybe the fried chicken here is good, but i’d rather not bother at all. The biggest problem is that the quality of food and service vary greatly here. If the owner and his wife is manning the counter, the food and wait are pretty fair. If its someone else like it was today, you’ll get some pretty mediocre food.
The guy preparing my chicken cheesesteak didn’t seem to understand that there is supposed to be cheese with the sandwich until the guy behind the register told him. I’ve never heard something like this happen. The time spent for the wait, and the amount of confusion is just not worth it here. I had better hopes for this place…

FOOOOOOD POISONING!!! DO NOT RISK IT!
Spent hours on the toilet and feeling nauseous cause of eating chicken from this place. PASS ON IT!!!
