Nate Strand, Tax Attorney

I called and left 2 messages and I never got a return call. As well as emailed him from his website. Not someone I would let take care of my important information.

I been meaning to write this review, my wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Nate earlier this year in regards to a tax matter. We both found him to be very professional, informative, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a Tax Attorney.

Nate is one of NY’s finest Tax Attorney’s. He’s helped my family out tremendously, having saved my uncle from some serious tax problems, for backed business taxes. Not only was everything solved very quickly, but he was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and fair with pricing. Nate is excellent… a breath of fresh air. Unlike many other practitioners, he doesn’t treat you like he’s running a high-​volume business. He quickly helped me with a matter involving an old S-​corp that I started in NY. He’s attentive and responds to questions quickly. He’s a great listener, very knowledgeable and explains things clearly. On top of that, his rates are very very reasonable. NYC is lucky to have him.

Nate is one of the most professional, knowledgable, helpful and persistent attorneys I’ve ever encountered! His level of expertise and concern for his clients is a cut above the rest. I had a very similar situation to Anna H… For a long time I couldn’t tell which I thought was scarier, the IRS or Lawyers. It was my own ignorance and fear that created the situation in the first place. Not only was I constantly looking over my shoulder, expecting the IRS to pop out from every dark corner, but I also felt so ashamed that I had allowed things to get so out of hand it made it hard to face the idea of walking into some snooty, slimy lawyers office.
Miraculously I found Nate, after maybe a dozen phone calls to various tax attorneys, mostly leaving messages, or being shamed even more with terrifying stories of doom and gloom. Nate answered my call immediately, I think it was a Saturday, and I remember being surprised that I was speaking to a real person. I briefly told him the gist of my story, and he assured me there was no need to worry. And we made an appointment for that monday!
Not only did Nate take care of my case, but he also was able to clearly explain the process to me in an extremely personable way. He demystified this thing that I had paralyzed me with fear my whole life. Other lawyers I had spoken with were telling me it would take months, if not years to straighten out, and cost me more money than i could imagine. Without hesitation, Nate promised to have things moving within weeks, and quoted a very reasonable rate.
Nate is considerate, generous, extremely responsive, honest, he gets great results, and he is a pure pleasure to converse with! Even though my situation was minor compared to many, I still feel extremely fortunate to have found Nate. I don’t even want to think about what it could have turned into had I hired anyone else less honest, and less dedicated.

Like many Americans, I have considerable distrust for lawyers. Granted, I know a few great attorneys and legal aides outside of the professional realm, and they’re awesome people, but there’s a reason for lawyer jokes, after all. However, when I got an ominous letter from the state over an issue that really didn’t make any sense, I knew it was time to call in the big guns. Enter Nate Strand, who has officially become my favorite attorney.
If Nate were a doctor, people would say that he has a great «bedside manner.» Having no idea of how to handle this strange tax situation I’d suddenly found myself in, I started searching around on Google for a solution. Once his name popped up, I reached out with an email; I was so relieved when he got back to me almost immediately! He understood my issue and explained my options in language I could understand, making me feel instantly at ease. I went from being a nervous wreck to knowing that there was a very good chance that this was nothing to worry about.
As it turns out, the state and I were making a mountain out of a molehill. He handled the situation quickly and efficiently, at a very affordable rate, saving me thousands of dollars (and a heart attack). I couldn’t be happier. Thanks again, Nate!
