Adorable ambience; really captures that cute cozy-hometown-restaurant feel. However, food quality wasn’t that great and pasta sauce was watery and tasteless. Not worth the price in my opinion

Seated very quickly. The $ 13 any pasta deal really sold us; compared to the $ 25-$ 30 pasta prices in other restaurants. The service was great! Our waters remained full, and we were never rushed! The indoor seating is beautiful and the Sinatra music was a nice touch. The pasta was delicious and like I said, you can’t beat the price! Really glad we walked in here.

Nice place with a good food, prices and a friendly wait staff! Conveniently located on Mulberry Street and quite a welcoming reprieve from all of the other tourist traps and overly priced other Italian restaurants near by. We can’t wait to go back to enjoy their delicious food and fine ambiance. Treat yourself and go soon!

Fantastic food and fantastic atmosphere. It was the best meal we had in New York. My kids said we were eating here every time we came to New York.

My family and I visited Paesanos in June 2016 after our favorable visit a few years earlier. We ended up sitting outside. Waiter rushed us through the ordering process and seemed irritated that we didn’t order any wine(we had two boys under 10 with us). Food wise I have no complaints. Our dishes were a fair size and very tasty. Service left a lot to be desired. Mozzarella sticks were ordered and never brought to our table. The waiter disappeared until a few minutes prior to delivering our check. I was very excited after our first visit to make a second visit. I would look elsewhere after this past weekends jaunt. It might be time to up your game!

Was aimlessly walking in little Italy and stumbled upon this spot with two friends. We saw $ 20 bottles of wine and walked right in. Gentlemen in the front was extremely sweet and accommodating so it lured us in. There was great weather here in NYC, however, the inside of this restaurant was most enticing. I loved the ambiance, very intimate. Potential date spot for sure. I had a chicken parm, loved it.

We went based on reviews — we must not have ordered well. Food was OK but not outstanding. Cheap white bread, skimpy portion of caprese salad. Service was rushed and sloppy. Our meals weren’t four-star quality — bland red sauce, small meatballs. I felt that we wandered into a tourist trap. :-/

We came here for my sister’s 25th birthday(Saturday, May 28th). We were seated right away and surprisingly, there were quite a few empty tables around us. The ambiance is beautiful… vines and little string lights all around. The waitstaff seemed friendly enough. We ordered the calamari(very bland) and as we were eating, my sister said, «OUCH!» and reached into her mouth to pull out a jagged piece of hard plastic that was apparently in with the calamari. The fact that it cut the inside of her cheek wasn’t a great first impression of this place. They did not charge us for that and if they would have, I would have complained. The reason it gets 3 stars is the pasta was very good. We ordered the fettuccine alfredo and I had the shrimp scampi. We also waited at least 20 minutes for our bill after our plates were cleared when, as I said before, there were several open tables and they weren’t busy. I’m not sure if we irritated them when we said something about the plastic in our food or what. Needless to say, we probably won’t be trying this place again when there are several other Italian restaurants on the same street —(Yay for Little Italy!)

From the moment you walk up to their door you know you made the RIGHTCHOICE ! Had Lunch there on Thursday May 27, 2016 the best Manicotti ever and they make their own sangria so so amazing that we went back there the same day for Dinner… From Walter at the Door … to having them call Anthony’s Limo to pick us up… This became my Favorite thing /experience in New York. I love Little Italy and the Little Catholic Church /Chapel across the Street gave me such Peace. Much Needed and a Must Try. I wish there were More Stars to check off for this restaurant … I certainly would have Checked Much Love to Everyone there Judy G

Wonderful gnocchi and Alfredo. Probably the best Italian dish I’ve ever had. The service was great and the waiters were very nice. We had a party of ten so the wait was pretty long and the lighting was very dim. Other than that it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. I recommend the pasta deal, very cheap and very delicious!

Had the pepper and onions pizza delicioso. Very flavorful. Linguine vongole white sauce was light and love the clams which tasted very fresh. The pasta Fagiole was soupy but very appetizing. Tomatoes were forward and perfect spice. Not like home but good. The atmosphere was a little kitchy and reminded me of the old favorite I used to go to in San Carlos, ca called Messinas. Hanging vines, distressed walls, paintings on the walls of old Italy. Val liked it a lot. Oh yeah and very«classic» Italian songs playing.

My mom has was begging for dinner in little Italy when she visited, after some research I landed us here. I was impressed! The ambiance is amazing! A real feel for an Italian dinner. We really enjoyed the white sangria! I ordered the chicken parm and it was delicious. My dad and boyfriend both had chicken saltamboca which was delicious! They had a Polaroid man walking from table to table which I found adorable and a great reminder of our great meal! To end the night we had the amazing canolis!!! Like amazing!!! Defiantly recommend if in the area !

This was a little gem hidden in Little Italy. It’s beautiful décor and it’s amazing food are just enchanting. I love, love, love gnocchi in Alfredo sauce, but this was THEBEST, I’ve ever had. Our server was very attentive and Andrew, our busser even went the extra mile to charge my cell phone. GRAZIE Andrew!!!

Lunch at Paesano’s was wonderful. The Eggplant Parmesan melted in my mouth. Our table also had Lobster Ravioli and Chicken Parmesan which were excellent as well. Italian bread was excellent and they give you seasoned oil instead of butter which I love. The food is not fancy. It’s home style Italian cooking with large portions and its delicious! Servers were right on top of everything. Very good service! We will definitely be back.
