I am a watch aficionado. This is the worse boutique and management you will encounter while shopping for a watch, or for service for that matter. I bought a watch with leather band. 6 months later, not only the leather was falling apart, the watch started loosing minutes. Mind you I own quite a few watches so this one makes it to my wrist maybe once a week, if at all. I brought the watch in with the warranty card, and was told all would be taken care of with a big smile. A month later, I get a phone call informing me that even tho the watch would not be taken under warranty because it «fell at two pm». The casing of this watch is so perfect, I am confident in saying this was just a tale. I asked to speak to a manager, and was put in touch with some arrogant young european man, who plain refused to help me further, unless I was willing to shell out close to $ 1k. Furious, I asked them to send the watch back. They did and never heard of any follow up or anything. The watch is still loosing minutes, and a year after purchase the leather actually FELL apart. I own Patek with leather band which has not been changed since 1998 and it still looks amazing, Panerai, after a year, done. Bottom line: Invest in brands with customer service, you do not want to find yourself trying to conserve or resell a watch that has absolutely no guarantee of working after just 180 days.

It is nice boutique and staff there is professional and helpful. However, I brought my PAM176 for service a month ago and although it doesn’t seem to be the stores fault, job wasn’t done as I expected. I carefully examined it and while the polishing job on the sides & front was done nicely, the back of my watch was actually massacred pretty bad– looks like they either used wrong size of the wrench to open or close it or weren’t careful doing it. The back of the watch is not visible when the watch is worn, but even though I thing if could be done more professionally for $ 556 I paid for this– deep scratches and messed up back cover edges. I actually shouldn’t accept it back in a shape like that. Definitely use local watchmaker instead.

By far my favorite watch maker and brand. It’s part the exclusivity factor, part the quality and part the appearance. Panerai is got all of those over other makers. The only watch brand I will continue to buy repeatedly. Whether it is my Luminor Marina base or my GMT power reserve I always get the most compliments with my Panerai. The boutique is on the smaller side(compared to say, Milan) but it is worth stopping in if you are a fan of high-end timepieces.

Small brand owned boutique with uninspired staff that doesn’t respect their posted open hours. Came to NYC over a weekend and hoped to see some Panerais, but was surprised to find their doors locked well within their open hours. I then called their number expecting either someone to pick up, apologize, and open up the door, or an outgoing voicemail message with why they weren’t open. Neither was the case. Store was small and a little boring. I’ve since chalked that up less to the collection, and rather to the lack of enthusiasm and charisma of the staff. When we walked in(they were open the next day, but I did call first), one person was on the phone and never made eye contact despite speaking loudly on the phone in the otherwise very quiet boutique. The saleswoman who eventually spoke to us held back for a while just watching us. When she did speak she just kept shoving different models under our noses without any real regard to what we might be interested in. While I do recognize that it isn’t always easy decipher tastes right away, it just seemed very haphazard. If I wasn’t already familiar with the brand, I probably would have left just as clueless as when I walked in and probably a little unimpressed/annoyed that I wasted my time in there. Of note, I have been to Panerai Boutiques around the world, and this was the first time I wanted to leave after 5 minutes.

This is a beautiful watch boutique. Panerai watches are stunning with several models to choose from and this little Madison Ave. boutique has plenty of watches to give you an idea of what Panerai has to offer. This is more of a review of the boutique and not Panerai watches. The sales staff was extremely knowledgeable and not pushy in any way. They made sure my experience while I was there was enjoyable. Definitely worth checking out if you are into watches.

I had a excellent experience here. Alexander at the Panerai Boutique on Madison Ave is awesome! My Panerai was damaged and he went above and beyond to make sure that the repair was done correctly at the service center. Awesome boutique, great selection, and knowledgeable/helpful staff. I would definitely buy a Panerai here instead of an AD like Tourneau.
