Bottomless brunch with food that doesn’t suck for a reasonable price? I’m there. Extremely attractive servers with french accents? I’m already in line. This place is the bees knees for brunch. They do Unilocal reservations which is awesome since vetting the restaurant and making a reso can all be done in one place. Their pre-fixe brunch special is $ 30 which includes an entrée and unlimited mimosas/bloodies, and don’t worry, they let you switch between drinks. For mimosas they just keep giving you pitchers which is awesome. For my entrée I ordered a smoked salmon benedict. Lots of places that do bottomless brunches totally neglect the food and lots of places can’t poach a fu$%%&g egg to save their life, but the eggs here were perfectly poached and complemented the smoked salmon perfectly. I always ask for hollandaise on the side because too many places drown the plate in it but they put the perfect amount on the benedict and it wasn’t gloopy or flavorless. Definitely a must do when brunching in NYC. Awesome neighborhood and atmosphere as well! Protip: Drink your water quickly and you can double fist on drinks.

My new favorite French in NYC, coming from someone who lived in Paris. I used to frequent Amelie near NYU for tapas style French but this definitely surpassed in every way. We got bone marrow(AMAZING), Brussel sprouts, mussels and fries, calamari and an incredible watermelon salad. Everything they brought out was consistently wonderful and the service was really the cherry on top — really kept on top of us in a non-oppressive way. And my waiter entertained my absolutely horrendous French — the highlight of my day!

Stopped in at this brunch place on a Saturday. It’s super cute. I got the eggs Benedict with ham and it was cooked to perfection. Would definitely return again next time I’m in NYC.

BRUNCHREVIEW: First off, I love the ambiance and décor of the place! It is super quaint, cozy and intimate — the mosaic, wood and overall colors reminded me of the cafes I saw in Europe. All the waiters spoke French(as did many customers who were there at the same time as me) which was a charming add on to the ambiance. As in Europe, the check did not come until we flagged down a waiter. There was no rush, even though the restaurant was full of people, and I appreciated that; especially for a Sunday Brunch! The waiters were continuously filling our waters and truly paying attention to when we were ready to order and done. So for food, I ordered the Tunisian Eggs. My first choice was the Croque Madame but they could not remove the ham in the sandwich for some reason so I had to pass. The Tunisian eggs were very good. It was essentially a shakshuka but a bit thinner. Overall, delicious but a bit under-seasoned; there was no pop in my mouth! My friend’s Croque Monsieur’s bread was amazing, being fried and covered in cheese of course. Overall, very cool place! Great«authentic» experience but the brunch dish kept a little more to be desired in regards to flavor. The coffee that came with the entrée was nothing special; it could be so much better! I would rate it a 3.5÷5

Came here for a cash-only brunch on a busy weekend. I made reservations for 1:30PM however due to traffic we were late. We called to let them know en route. I know it was totally our fault for being late but we were not seated for another 45 minutes to an hour. We kept tracking down the host to try to reconfirm he even remembered us. He kept saying soon, soon. Anyway, finally around 2:40 we finally got seated. The place was small and pretty stacked with tables. It was somewhat harder to enjoy because everyone had to keep their elbows in. There was a lot of white noise — a very busy place no doubt. All these impediments and yet, 4 stars! The food was amazing. We opted for the unlimited coffee and tea with 1 entrée which was $ 19/pp. My friends ordered eggs Benedict, steak sandwich, and myself ordered the Croque Madame. The Croque Madame is your dream cheese, ham, and egg sandwich with a crispy exterior and a savory softness interior. D r o o l. I shared with my friends and they were all like«wow, I should’ve ordered it.» I would have given 5 stars for the food alone but the environment/atmosphere made everything feel too close and clutter-y. But if you are okay with that, and planning to come anyway, strongly suggest ordering Croque Madame if you like ham, egg, and cheese… Individually and jointly

After I tried the Excuse My French place I wanted to try the PMF — The Experience was very different– first it was pretty good and then it finished on a bitter note. I arrived at 6pm and went directly to the backyard. It is a beautiful and peaceful patio nicely decorated, summer-romantic vibes. We ordered 2 bottles of Rosé and price was pretty reasonable. Service is very friendly and French(yes). You can easily relax and enjoy the calm as it is not a busy backyard. We were hungry and ordered food. As we are French, we asked about the Cheese and the size of the cheese. Waiter couldn’t lie and was honest about the small portion(we are French and we eat lots of Cheese– portion are important) We ordered 2 cheeses and were indeed a little bit disappointed — BUTWEKNEW so no surprise(my dream is to find a place in nyc where they have a whole Camembert for $ 7.00…ahaha). The only big disappointment was the terrine at $ 19.00 — It is very pricey. I would probably come back only for the drinks & service. And maybe to have a real meal.

PMF is an extremely lively and loud brunch spot that serves unlimited mimosas, I think that’s a big enough sell for most people haha. But unfortunately, I don’t think it was that great :(When I got there, despite having reservations, I still waited a good 45 minutes. The host was super nice and kept apologizing(they all seem to be French by the way!), but it was already past 2pm and I was getting extremely hungry… The food is just average good, nothing to rave about. If you’re really just here for the unlimited mimosas, I guess you don’t have to mind the food so much! It’s $ 28.95 for that + one brunch entrée, not bad at all. Mimosas weren’t enough to get me rreaaalllyyy drunk, but I think I was slightly tipsy when I walked out. Beware, there are only 2 bathrooms I think, and the lines get reaaaaaaaaaaaaallllyyyy long. If you want to be able to have conversations with friends, this is probably not the best place haha the sound travels around pretty well, so you start to hear a lot of background noise. ***CASHONLY.

I came here for dinner and the food here was absolutely wonderful. The cauliflower steak was had amazing flavoring and it was topped with crunchy, roasted macadamia nuts. I didn’t think it would fill me up but it did. The slow braised pork belly was incredible. The pork belly was cooked perfectly, and the sauce it came with was just the right balance of salty and sweet. After the pork belly was gone, I was still dipping the complementary bread into the sauce. The chef’s selection cheese plate was pretty good. My favorite was what I believe to be the manchego cheese. The service here is very good. The servers are really attentive and will make sure your glass is never empty. The only issue I have is that I noticed our waiter spilling quite a bit of the drinks that he was bringing over to the table. I will definitely be back to try the brunch here! Also note: This place might actually be a little closer to 3 dollar signs instead of 2 if you come for dinner.

Came here with as a group of six so I was lucky enough to try a lot of the things on the menu. We made a reservation and noted for a table outdoors at the patio, but they said due to high demands it isn’t always available. We were seated inside instead. Come early if you want to sit outside! I would say this restaurant gives off a cozy yet romantic vibe with the real candles and cute décor. Waiters are well mannered and very nice. Should I note that they are handsome French men? They take down your order without pen and pad, having memorized your extensive list because they are THAT attentive. Pretty impressive. Anyways to the drinks and food: *The Demon’s Potion: the ingredients may make it sound like a girly drink, but it is not lacking in alcohol. This cocktail is the right balance of fruitiness and booziness. My favorite drink on the menu! *Mad Dog: my friend ordered this drink but I took a sip. This is a refreshing, light drink, perfect for summertime. *Tartare de Boeuf«à Notre Façon,» Chips d’Orge: this was the group favorite appetizer of the night! The beef tartare was delicious and the barley chip added extra crunch for a contrasting texture. We almost fought over the last piece. A must try! *L’Os a Moëlle roti au Thym, Baguette Française & Accoutrements: the bone marrow was rich and flavorful. I’ve heard from others that you can order a shot and have them pour it down the finished bone for you so I asked about it. Our server was kind enough to give us three shots of bourbon, on the house! Awesome Instagram photo op lol *Coeurs De Poulet Aux Oignons Caramelises: chicken hearts are definitely an acquired taste. Many people do not like organ parts of animals, but I do. To me, this dish was executed nicely. The sauce was great and the caramelized onions elevated the dish. The chicken hearts were cooked just right so that you get a good chew on it. *Calamar & Poulpe, Braisé Sauce Piquant: this dish was a bit underwhelming. I felt that weren’t enough pieces of squid and octopus in it. I think it was also the only dish that we were not fighting over. *Pork Belly: my, my. I am a sucker for pork belly. Although not that much of a big serving, the pork belly was juicy and tender, with a good ratio of fat to meat. The carrot mousse that it comes with is also surprisingly delicious! I think I scraped every last bit of it off the plate. *Raw Scallops: this was a special of the day. Since it is raw, you can taste the freshness of the scallops. The light salsa and butter didn’t overpower the scallops, so it was a delightful bite in your mouth. *Chicken Liver Mousse(faux foie gras): another special of the day, this is also an acquired taste. I don’t think that many people of our group enjoyed it, but I certainly did. It was a light creamy texture, and tasted slightly sweet. When I ran out of the toasted bread, I took from the bread basket we had to finish every last bit of it! *Queue de Boeuf Braiseée Sauce au Vin Rouge: this was the group favorite entrée. The slow braised oxtail is cooked so perfectly that the meat easily comes off the bone when you fork it. The mashed potatoes were also fluffy and the sauce made it all the better. *Canard a L’Abricot et Chataignes: I was also excited to try this but it didn’t wow me like the other dishes did. The duck breast wasn’t as tender as I would’ve liked so that was a slight disappointment. However, the celery roots purée that garnished it was great. *Les Moules Frites: I’m not a giant fan of mussels, but it tasted good. The French fries were amazing as well. *Brussel Sprouts: I really don’t like Brussel sprouts but I actually wanted more of it! It may be a little too sweet for others, but I found it a good balance of sweet and saltiness. *Almond Panna Cotta: just the right amount of almond flavoring. The almond slices also gives a nice contrast in textures. *Cognac Crème Brûlée: the caramelized sugar at the top was very thin, which I liked. Favorite among the other girls. Overall, I definitely would be returning, and maybe even try out their brunch! Food, atmosphere, and service was superb. I definitely recommend this place to others.

DINNERISWHEREIT’S ATHERE! Mouth watering food, great service, and cute vibes all over! Nice selections of cocktails and there’s also a nice backyard patio to enjoy your food on a nice weather. All the waiters here are handsome French men with heavy French accents! I’d highly recommend to come here for their dinner with a group of four at least so you can try almost everything ! We came with 6 people, and we shared the amount of food perfectly CHICKENHEARTS — I heard a lot of great things about this dish. Half the people on my table didn’t like it… The sauce was nice as well as the caramelized onions in it. But really the chicken hearts are for the faint of heart people who usually loves eating such parts of an animal. It’s an acquired taste. I usually don’t like eating hearts, livers or gizzard. But in the beginning it really just tasted like a tougher chicken sausage until the after taste kicked in a little the more you chew. BEEFTARTARE — Best dish the whole night! Wow everyone loved this so much, the beef was fresh, the barley chips was super thin and crispy just to add a light texture yet letting the beef shine on its own. The crème fraîche sauce on it was a fantastic touch. ROASTEDBONEMARROW — Second best favorite dish of the night. I’ve had lots of bone marrows in my life, and these are probably the best one yet! Thank god I ordered two of these for the table. It was super plump, nicely seasoned and flavored with sea salt and thyme, and just juicy-licious! **Comes with free bourbon shot that they’ll pour down the marrow into your mouth for you. Just ask for it!** CHICKENLIVERMOUSSE — Another acquired taste, a thing you either like or not. This was not one of the better chicken liver mousses that I’ve had… It wasn’t as creamy and less irony as I would like but nonetheless it was still decent. SLOWBRAISEDPORKBELLY — succulent and mouth watering. The pork belly was nice and tender, with an even amount of fatty. Not an overly gross fatty pork belly. The carrot purée to this dish was amazing! RAWSCALLOPS — Part of special of the day. It was dressed with a warm buttery tomato salsa on top. Not much to say, my boyfriend and I love scallops a lot and this was simply good. SQUID&OCTOPUS — cooked in a spicy tomato sauce. This was just okay… It was the least memorable, didn’t leave a big impression on any of us. I can’t handle a slight of spice. But there was barely a kick in the sauce. OXTAIL — this was the best entrée dish among the table tonight. It was slow braised in red wine til oh so forkingly tender. It came with two oxtail that had a generous chunk of meat on each for all 6 to try a nice big bite to enjoy. A must, very delectable! DUCKBREAST — I’m a huge fan of duck breast, and so I was really excited to try this… Unfortunately some pieces were a little chewy and not as tender as it should be. Flavor was delicious and my boyfriend apparently grabbed a tad more tender piece than mine from the middle part. MUSSELS — cooked in a mushroom porcini sauce with applewood smoked bacon and comes with fries but we substituted our regular fries out for truffle fries. Truffle fries were perfectly crispy and truffly. Really yummy. Mussels were good, but I wouldn’t say worth $ 28 alone. I wouldn’t get this next time for the price and portion. SIDEOFBRUSSELSSPROUTS — the side of brussels are small. You’ll need two orders of these if you come with 6. My boyfriend loves brussel sprouts so we always have to order it wherever we go, it was good but definitely not the best brussels we’ve ever had. DESSERTS — we got cognac crème brûlée and almond panna cotta. Their desserts here are fantastic. And the crème brûlée is absolutely perfect!

Arrived around 1:30 for brunch on a Saturday. He was able to get a table outside, which is absolutely lovely and well decorated. The service was spectacular– are the waiters all French? …but the food could not be more mediocre. We shared the eggs benedict and croque monsieur– both of which I was thoroughly unimpressed by. I didn’t finish my plate. We opted for coffee/OJ. Maybe we were too sober to enjoy our meal! lol I don’t think I’ll be back. sorry.

This was my first time here for a Birthday Brunch. The food was good no one complained about anything being cold or not cooked. Everyone seemed happy w/their plates. I had the Egg Benedict with potatoes and bacon. Like I said before good but nothing to brag about. The mimosas were another story, they were watered down and i felt like i was drinking OJ and not a refreshing alcoholic drink. The service was ok, I felt like instead of being occasionally checked on we were constantly waving at the waiter for something we needed. I probably would give this place another try. We’ll see!

I went to PMF for dinner. The setting of the dining space is very intimate. They also dim the lighting and put a candle on every table in the evening. I highly recommend dining at this restaurant(for dinner) if you are on a date. It’s very romantic. The most memorable part of my meal was the duck. It was tender and juicy, but not the best that I have had. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate mousse, which was good, but nothing too special. The servers working here are very polite and efficient. The manager also came over to see our dining experience was ok. Since the dining space is very small, you should make a reservation before you come here. I definitely love the ambience and lovely setting of this place.

We did not take advantage of the boozy brunch here– not my idea. By the time we arrived, the seats in the courtyard and main dining area had all been taken. They originally seated us in the bar annex to the left of the main entrance. It was a struggle to stay in a dark space with little room behind us for patrons to pass en route to the bathroom. Hence, we were switched to the subway-tiled bar that was part of the main area. I much preferred the brightness and seating and was happy with the overall service received. The noise level was tolerant, but it got loud after a group had a few rounds of the bottomless booze. I feel like this is a place much better enjoyed if partaking in the alcoholic option. Otherwise, it’s like a party you haven’t been invited to. The Eggs Benedict: Scandinavian style was done perfectly, but after a eating a hundred of these meals, it didn’t have anything new to say.

PMF took me straight back to the cute little brunch spots in the back alleys of Paris. Not to mention, the waiters here are also French. Try to make a reservation, come on a sunny day, and snatch one of the seats in the back courtyard. Unlike most brunch spots I’ve been to in New York(specifically in the West Village), PMF didn’t feel very crowded, and the waiters at no point tried to rush us out. Guess that’s the perk of being so far out East. My friends and I ordered the $ 18.95 brunch(includes entrée + coffee or tea) and shared a pitcher of mimosa. We thought the bottomless brunch($ 30.95) was a bit too aggressive, and since the pitcher served about 5.5 glasses of mimosas, we thought that was perfect option for our group! We tried the savories and the sweets and were all overall very satisfied with the food. Portions are generous and filling, so come hungry! Rarely do I find brunch spots with both delicious food and delicious drinks, an adorable ambiance, and good service but without the hectic crowds. PMF is a gem. Grab your girlfriends and treat yourselves to a nice Sunday brunch! One more note: it’s cash only. There’s an ATM across the street.

Make reservations online– I added some more people last minute when I called them the morning of and they were super accommodating! I think most of the waiters here speak French– they had accents– felt like I was in Paris again. Located in alphabet city but it was worth the hike. They have a variety of brunch specials. I got the grilled steak and cheese– Superb. Definitely one of my favorite brunch spots. My brunch entrée came with a sandwich, side salad, potatoes, and a slice of watermelon(random I know but hey why not). The other entrees looked really good as well. Everyone at our table loved their meal. The grilled steak and cheese was pretty heavy but SOGOOD– slices of steak(not cut up) and good quality melted cheese on a toasted sandwich roll. Did I mention this place was also bottomless mimosas or bloody marys for 2 hrs??? They were consistent about refilling the mimosa pitcher– BUENO!!! Has a cute rustic and chill vibe. Highly recommend this place. CASHONLY!!! They have bone marrow for dinner— COMINGBACKASAP.

FOODORGASMS. I have had my eye on this place since it first opened. I originally wanted to come dine here for brunch but spontaneously stopped by this contemporary French bistro one late evening because of their amazing late hours. My friend and I arrived past our reservation time but there were no issues with us getting seated right away by the friendly host. We were given a nice corner table. The dining area’s atmosphere was dimly lit with some blasting upbeat music. Great place for a nice intimate and romantic dinner. I have always remembered enjoying French food but have I experienced enough to claim so? The server gave us a spiel of their specials for that night. I wanted to order everything on the menu but how much can I really consume? I had to ask the cute French waiter for his recommendations. He recommended almost the entire menu with his thick accent through the loud music. My friend and I finally agreed that we would much prefer more appetizers than entrees. Bone Marrow: the marrow was of a decent portion nicely roasted where the marrow was soft and partially lifted from the bone then topped with some parsley and thyme. buttery, creamy, melt in your mouth goodness! served with a few slices of French baguette CHICKENHEARTS: I had to capitalize it because it was that good. My friend and I were fighting to finish this dish. How can some simple chicken hearts with caramelized onion taste so good? Amazing flavors. Enough talk, go try it for yourself! Chicken Liver Mousse: a generous amount nestled in an airtight jar, about 4 oz. I’d assume. Extremely potent, rich, and creamy then topped with some sweet jam, I couldn’t tell what it was but it paired really well together and the flavors together was amazing Oxtail: a meaty, hearty, and rich slow braised oxtail on top of mashed potatoes & a handful of roasted mixed vegetables with a semi-sweet red wine sauce. It was really good but at this point, I couldn’t finish it because I was really full. It was my first time encountering a restaurant that serves wine a la ficelle style. Unfortunately I was not able to consume alcohol that night but I will be back for some nice wine pairing! Overall, great food, great service, great atmosphere, great company, great night. I highly recommend this place and I can’t wait to be back.

Things I wish I knew before coming here — 1. CASHONLY 2. Reservations are a must Their brunch is ~$ 20 for your meal(which comes with salad and potatoes) and coffee/tea. For an extra $ 10, you can do bottomless bloody Mary’s or mimosas. I had the Croque Monsieur, and I loved it. Who says brunch needs eggs? It was soft but still had a crunch to it — and a perfect ratio of bread to ham to cheesy topping. I think the potatoes could’ve been softer, but they were seasoned well. The salad balanced everything out with freshness! I definitely recommend making a reservation — otherwise, you might end up having to sit at the communal table. It was fine, but it was a bit crowded. Of course a table would’ve been nicer, especially with that backyard to check out! The whole place is cute, actually. It screams brunch with all the natural lighting coming in. Service was good — the host let me sit at the communal table even though my friend didn’t show up for another 20 minutes. Another plus? The French accents that the waiters had! It made everything feel more authentic.

You walk straight into a café in Paris! The waiters, the food, the drinks, everything is on point for a Parisian meal! Their bottomless brunch is an amazing deal and I love their community high top table/bar area as soon as you walk in. The portions are great and each plate had a great amount of flavor for the taste buds! The coffee is also awesome and you can get it as part of your brunch instead of unlimited drinks as well as juice! The bar is also great in the evenings, although small provides a great place to get together on a week night with some locals! I am a huge fan of this new little French style bistro on Avenue B — it’s worth the walk east!

PMF is quite a delight! Cute French-style bistro serving delicious and fresh food and some inventive cocktails. Situated slightly off the beaten path, on Avenue B, it’s really quite a gem of a restaurant. Chic and rustic ambiance, chill house/urban jazz music bumping, dimly lit. The service(all French wait staff) was courteous and attentive, and the meals were extravagantly tasty. I highly recommend the beef tartare and bone marrow to start, if you’re interested in really GOING for it. So intensely packed with flavor. The salmon as an entrée is very fresh and its pairing with a cauliflower purée was simply divine. Not sure if I’ve ever had a cauliflower purée before, but I am now absolutely a fan. The drinks are a little unexpectedly pricey, but worth it. I definitely want to return for brunch, as I’ve heard wonderful things, as well as try the outdoor garden patio in the back.

Cute restaurant with pretty good food. I had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and they were good. I like that we get potatoes and a salad with it. Came with a bunch of friends on a weeknight, and it was quite crowded. Super cute french spot with great service. The BONEMARROW is a must starter. Thyme roasted marrow… yummm. We also had a variety of cheeses and meats to share that were great as well. I had their MUSSELS and it was very well made. Flavors of mushrooms/bacon with a porcini sauce. Come check this restaurant out, great recommendations on food, great service, and a wonderful vibe. ENJOY!

Definitely enjoyed my bday dinner here. We made rsvps, arrived slightly earlier and hung out at their bar. good and strong cocktails to start the night. Hostess came to get us when our table was ready – seated and started droolin over the menu. We ordered 4 appetizers and 3 entrees to share btwn 5 of us. With 2 sides. It was def good enough. For appetizers we had the pork belly, the ball of cheese w tomatoes(burrata?), bone marrow, and tartare. All were delicious! For entrée we had the salmon, steak and oxtail. Sides we had were Truffle fries and brussel sprouts. Loved all of it. Especially the brussel sprouts(it has honey! Never thought honey and brussels would be amazing) Dessert was warm brownie w chocolate fudge inside and a side of vanilla ice cream. Yum!!! Waiters were so nice and friendly!(And handsome!!!) We had a great time and i would definitely come back to try more things and even their bottomless brunch!

Made brunch reservations for 3 a week before. When the guy answered he sounded like something out a French movie, Oo la la! He was very friendly & was able to accommodate us for whatever time we wanted. Finally get there and it’s a cute adorable small French place. We were missing one person in our party and they were still able to sit us. At 11:30am the place was still pretty empty. The waiters were very attentive and made sure our carafe was always full of water or mimosas. I’m serious, not even 30 seconds would pass before they made sure it was refilled. Around 12:30, it started getting a little more packed but service was still great. Everything we had was delicious & pretty! I found the mimosas to be pretty strong. I would definitely come back, especially in the summer since they have a nice little patio out back.

Your old school French bistro met modern European atmosphere and have a baby= PMF! Cool place to hang out and to get small plates of good stuff to go with your drink. Ohh btw, they make their drinks pretty lethal so order away and get tuned up… Service was amazing, we made reservation for two people at 8pm. We arrived about 20 minutes early, despite the fact that it was super busy friday night, we were seated right away. The server was very attentive and the food came out fast. Organic Chicken Hearts w/Caramelized Cippolini Onions were so good. Typically, people won’t like organ meats because of the game-y-ness. not on this one, it was so good and it has really good texture and flavor. Beef tartare was also great. It was placed on top of crisps, so you don’t even have to scoop and put it on a toast. Very thoughtful! Braised squid and octopus w/spicy tomato sauce was excellent as well. Will come back soon for more delicious stuff…

Mad cute place in the further ends of East Village! Haven’t been here for dinner, but heard it was as awesome as their brunch. The waitstaff all have French accents! How can you not fall for that?! I didn’t get to try their bottomless brunch for $ 29, but I guess that will have to wait until next time. I instead got the coffee & tea plus an entrée for $ 19. I opted for the croque madame, which the only difference from croque monsieur is the addition of an egg, and who can say no to extra protein? My friend got their crêpes de babeurre(aka pancakes and fruits lol). Pancakes here aren’t bad, but I’ve just had better. My croque madam however, was absolutely delicious! My sandwich had a crispy exterior and the sauce that was drizzled on top of it was bomb. Not to mention their potatoes and mixed salad were great too. Love the vibe here. I also like how its not a tourist trap, but definitely a very local neighborhood joint. Will def recommend to friends if they’re ever visiting!

The waiters here are hella cool. The $ 25AYCD brunch was retardedly dope. The steak sandwich(thick piece of fuckin steak, mofos) was savory. The banana, melon, pineapple, peach salad was holy deelish. The potatoes were charred and awesome. The watermelon with lime was totally refreshing. Don’t come here, you fuckin midwestern transplants. This place I’d like to describe as bustling, French cozy. It’s busy and very loud but it is worth it for the atmosphere and food. Prices were reasonable and the customer service was wonderful. It didn’t matter who we asked a question from, the bevy of servers were truly helpful. Some of us at the table opted for brunch bottomless caesar or mimosa combination with our entrees which from the carafes hitting our table seemed to be a hit. I ordered the croque monsieur — a grilled ham and cheese sandwich covered in béchamel sauce served with mixed green salad dish was delicious. Cutting into it and seeing the cheese just melt and cling to my knife. That’s perfect. Second dish: Oeufs Tunisien — eggs baked in a terracotta with spicy tomato sauce, feta cheese and capers. This was stellar as well. Spicy but not so much you couldn’t taste the combination of flavours they created. Both dishes were outstanding. The outdoor patio looked wonderful. If only it wasn’t winter. A wonderful place for brunch in the lower east side. I can see why so many people rave about it.

4.5 but bump to the extra 5 cause the waiters had cuteee french accents and the place was cute itself! Boozy brunch has never let me down and PMF definitely gets added to that list! Its $ 28.95 for an entrée and bottomless booze, which you can choose between mimosas or bloody marys. FYI, Not everyone at the table has to do boozy brunch! My friend didn’t want to drink that day and they were completely okay with her not getting boozy. Not all places allow that so that was definitely a plus. I absolutely hateeee bloody marys with a passion so I only had mimosas! One of the downsides to PMF compared to other boozy brunch places i’ve had is that there is only one flavor for the mimosas. Most places gives you the option of peach, orange, etc etc but PMF just has 1. Croquet Madame which is Grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwich with some sauce and comes with an egg on top. Comes with a salad and potatoes. You can get the Croquet Monsieur if you don’t want the egg but don’t be silly, get the egg! It was delicious! It was perfectly crunchy and crispy on the outside while the inside was nice and soft. Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon was good too. They definitely didn’t skimp out on the salmon and the poached egg was cooked perfectly! Also comes with potatoes and salad. Since it was a packed house, we had to wave the server down a couple of times to get us a new pitcher of mimosas but besides that they were really friendly and attentive! Definitely a place to check out for boozy brunch or just for regular brunch. Make sure to make a reservation though cause it does get filled up around 130pm!

My husband, 3 month old and I dined here a couple of weeks ago and were so impressed with this French bistro-esq restaurant! we are definitely adding this to our list of repeat restaurants! We sat at the bar and devoured all the amazingly cooked tapas style dishes. The must dos would be the pork belly and the beef tartare! I would say these apps resemble more of fine dining type and they are all so reasonably priced(we went during happy hour). Add to this a well run restaurant and fantastic staff! Can’t wait to go back!

CASHONLY! 18.95 Brunch + coffee or tea 28.95 Brunch + BOTTOMLESS Booze –Be careful coming to early… we were one of the first few people there and they didn’t have enough change for $ 100, so we had to scramble for ever little change we had and luckily we made it with enough for tip. 1) Croquet Madame –It had a great crunch and soft inside. I just the middle could have been juicier. –The sunny side egg could have been a little more runnier, but it definitely made it juicier. 2) Eggs Benedict –The English muffin was too doughy, I usually like a little crisp to mine. –The poached egg was perfect and melted into the rest of the dish just how I like it. –I did wish they had more smoked salmon. 3) Potatoes –This came with both of the meals above, and I thought it was amazing!!! I loved the seasoning and crisp of the outside. –The only downfall was the potatoes were too thick in my taste. I just ended up eating the outside of the potatoes because the inside was starchy and plain. If they make the pieces smaller it was be perfect all around. 4) Salad –Came with the meals, nothing real spacial about it, but its always nice to have some green in your meals. Overall: Potions were perfect, just enough to get you at a perfect fullness. Setting: –Brick walls, old decorative interior with dark wooden floors. –Absolutely love the xmas decorations. –Perfect date spot for early morning brunch. –If you go when they first open, it is empty. –Once 1pm hit… better hope you have reservations. We came at 12:30pm with reservations and we were the 3rd party to be seating, but that 30 min time frame makes a huge difference. Service: –No one really checked up on us and if we wanted refills on our drinks we had to get their attention initially. After the first couple times, they finally went around to fill up our cups.(again this could have been because 30 min into our meal a bunch of people walked in, once they were settled it seemed like they gave us more attention.) –A big plus is that our server has a french accent!

Seriously good food, nice ambiance and gets super busy but the vibe is chill. Service is spotty because it’s so busy all the time, but this is one of the best spots for yummy brunch! During the spring and summer, they also have outdoor seating too! I had the Tunisian eggs and it was one of the best ones I’ve had, with perfectly gooey baked eggs, well seasoned tomato sauce, and the addition of fresh cheese! It came with a side of soft grilled potatoes that were a bit too oily but helped fill me up completely. My friend had the pancakes which consisted of a huge pile of 4 buttermilk pancakes topped with tons of fresh berries. Took a bite and was pleasantly surprised as well!

We came here for a non-boozy brunch on Saturday. PMF was packed! We managed to get a table by the bar from a cancelled reservation. This place is cash only and super loud. Towards the rear of the restaurant sounded like a zoo. We sat in the corner of the restaurant under a large speaker with the bass so high, it was enough to give you a migraine. Croque Madame $ 18.95 — Crispy, tasty béchamel sauce, and filling. It came with a side of potatoes and salad. We really enjoyed the Madame. Recommended! L’Entrecôte a Notre Facon $ 23.00 — Do not get the strip steak if you wish to be satisfied. The steak was no more than 5oz of steak and accompanied by a couple pieces of salad. For the price that you’re paying, you’d expect at least potatoes and a larger salad on the side. Simply put, if you’re here for a boozy brunch, you’ll have a great time. If you’re here for just food, go elsewhere as you’re in for a big disappointment. In my case, I ended up at Sunny & Annie’s Deli across the street shortly after leaving.

So my review is going to be relatively short/incomplete because I only came here to meet with two of my friends who were here already for dinner and a few drinks in by the time I came here. I arrived around 1215am? The bar area had a good amount of people which was nice, I met my buddies at the dining area which was in the back. I was only able to order in one drink which was the restaurants interpretation of a manhattan. My buddies though enjoyed their food and in specific told me about this one shot they had from a bone, so next time I come here Ill give a better review of this place.

found this spot for a bottomless brunch on Sunday. Have to say I’m waiting to go back already. amazing mimosas. ever better food. and absolutely stupendous service. we had ordered the buttermilk pancakes which were super soft and moist with fresh berries, and that buttercream on top is so decadent. also ordered the poached eggs with ham. came with a side of salad and roasted potatoes. the whole plate was delicious. 3 of us went by 2pm but we hadn’t made a reservation, the wait they said was about 30 – 40 mins. but they were sweet enough to seat is at the bar. so reservations are recommend! best part about it is it sounds exactly like the name. Décor, atmosphere, music, everything makes you feel like your in France for a little. and most importantly the French waiters and waitresses are the sweetest. hottest. and nicest you’ve seen. Bön Appétit! oh and the brunch is cash only!

I met my girlfriend here for a Sunday brunch, I was not able to make a reservation, but we were kindly seated at the bar, the host was a gentleman so sweet and polite, we didn’t mind the 15 minute wait as we were sipping Mimosa and doing chit-chats behind the walls of the dining room, the bar area was very quiet, I wouldn’t mind having my meal there. Before I realized the wait was over, we were taken to our table by the center of the room, it’s a vintage wooden interior so cozy and comfy, exactly what I was looking for… except for the fact that it got quite loud during my meal so we were screaming at each other… I know it’s the same for a lot of restaurants in East Village, so it’s fine with me. We both ordered the Croque Madame and I added a side of seasoned fries, the Croque was quite heavy but the cheese melted perfectly on the toast, it’s a big portion. The roasted potatoes were sauteed and baked exactly how I like them, so flavorful and not super mushy. I didn’t realize the Mimosa was unlimited refills, as my glass never went down, I think both of us had about a pitcher. The meal was great and the service was even better. All the gentlemen were very kind and attentive, treated us like princesses! And they present their checks in old movie DVD cases, how cool is that!

Definitely my favorite Alphabet City hidden gem. If you know about this place, then you know to only bring your best brunch friends. I make my way over to PMF at least twice a month for brunch and I’ve never been disappointed. Their competitive and delicious brunch specials are only made better by the bottomless mimosas or Bloody Mary option. Seriously, order anything on the brunch menu and you won’t be disappointed. Oh, and if you happen to be in the city during warmer times they have a great patio in the back. Definitely make reservations for a Saturday brunch, they get quite crowded. Sundays off peak(after 2) time aren’t quite as bad, but still make the reservation just in case. And remember: cash only.

This place is the mofoking schitt! Pardon my French; I just have a propensity to break into profanity when I am excessively enraptured by a meal. Stop judging, y’all! I’m sure most of you spew much worse than this when you’re nearing an orgasm. PMF has everything going for it: delicious food, cordial service, and a great vibe. Crevettes a la Diable are perfectly seared shrimp in a beurre blanc and cayenne pepper sauce. This is one of my two favorite appetizers, the other being the chicken hearts. The roasted bone marrow, served with sliced baguette, was good but not outstanding; quite similar to roasted bone marrow served at other good restaurants in New York and elsewhere. The pickled carrots and pickled cauliflower, which came with the bone marrow, were crunchy and delicious. The Creole style cod fritters were good, as were the mussels; again, not outstanding, much like the tasty moules mariniere that are served at other French restaurants. That is not a bad thing; they’ve just chosen not to mess with something that is great as is. The fries were wonderfully crispy. The Brussels sprouts were a fantastic side. They were fried crisp, and drenched in a honey tobasco sauce. What a wonderful burst of flavor! This side dish alone merits five stars. My favorite dessert is the almond panna cotta, which while not French, is delicious all the same. The velvety almond cream is layered with raspberry jelly, which lends it a richness of flavor and texture. PMF is three miles from my abode, so the six-mile walk serves to build up the appetite, and then work off the copious quantities of food I end up eating.

Came for brunch. We sat outside. Although a little chilly, I enjoyed the cute little garden. They were really busy the whole time so it is difficult to flag down someone for napkins etc., but they are very nice and attentive. I had the smoked salmon eggs benedict. Basically on par with good ones I have had. My friend had a grilled steak sandwich and it tasted good too. We got the brunch set with is coffee/tea + food for $ 18.50. I though it was fair. Great vibe and crowd. Would come back for dinner next time.

PMF is an amazing spot! We sat in the back and a had a short chat with the chef who is fantastic! The back area is open and just as beautifully decorated as inside. I would highly recommend sitting outside. The menu is of course very French, but it isn’t boring at all! We only had time for some appetizers which included shrimp, escargot, and beef tartare. See pics! All of it was amazing. We had a great glass of wine and the Aviator cocktail. Most of the specialty cocktails were Gin based, FINEBYME! The service was excellent. Everyone speaks French, and some may even be ex-military! It seems this place has many stories. And I can’t wait for the next time.

This place is so adorable, I kind of held off on writing a review so that I could keep this place all to myself! My bf and I were here on a double date with friends and instantly fell in love. I mean, what’s not to love when the entire staff speaks French? What I love about this place even more is ambiance and little patio. This place was decorated with love, that it’s almost restaurant-whimsical! I love the tiles, the vintage bistro lettering and signs, and the dim lit lights. The color apothecary bottles in the windows is like an Etsy dream! On the night of our visit, my friends and I were looking for variety, so what we ended up ordering was practically the first 6 – 7 things on the appetizer part of the menu. Everything came out quickly which was an added plus. The food looked and tasted wonderful, but the table’s general consensus was that the BRUSSELSSPROUTS(a side), and the BONEMARROW were the top two. Our number three was the OCTOPUS/CALAMARI in tomato sauce. We had also ordered the Cod Fritters, the Crab Cakes, and the Chicken Hearts, but everyone had their own opinion on each. If you’re a fan of CHICKENHEARTS in general I would definitely recommend it. For dessert we had ordered the CREMEBRULEE, THECOCONUTFLAN, ANDTHECHOCOLATEPIE. Personally, the Crème Brulee stole the show. Despite its popularity for Brunch, I would absolutely recommend this place for Dinner with a small group of friends as well.
