R E A L L Y G O O D S A N D W I C H E S. Consistently good, high-quality food. You will get your bang for the buck. The small sandwich is for a light eater; I prefer the $ 7. Avoid psycho queue by simply ordering online and picking up. Highly recommend.

Low-quality, high-price, small-portions. Just about everything is about what you’d expect from a forgettable place like Subway, only slightly«better» but a lot more expensive and everything is smaller. When PISILLO is nearby, where every single ingredient is fantastic, and the portions are gigantic, I’ll never return to Potbelly’s — I was disappointed different three times — but their pickled peppers(with celery & carrots) are pretty tasty(and available separately).

I WISHPOTBELLYEXISTEDINQUEENS. ‘Twould give Subway a run for its money. My favorite part about eating sammiches from here is the fact that everything doesn’t fall out after I try to take a bite. Prettttty satisfying and filling, all for ~$ 6.

I was afraid that the sandwiches here would resemble those of Subway(yuck!), but I actually really enjoyed my pizza sandwich! I am a fan of the combination of sausage, mushrooms, melted cheese, warm toasted bread and a ton of other ingredients — super flavorful! If you’re one to enjoy an extra kick of spice, be sure to ask for red peppers. Normally I don’t like eating sandwiches on a cool winter day, but this hot sandwich was just the amount of heartiness that I needed. The portions are also just right for lunch. I am not in a post-lunch food coma, nor did I create a huge mess while eating a hot sandwich at my desk. For less than $ 7, this was a solid deal for lunch!

3.5 stars. Came here to grab lunch during the work day after receiving a «Buy one get one free» coupon. Tried the Italian sandwich, which was surprisingly really good for such a fast casual place! Definitely add the hot peppers to your sandwich-gives it a good kick. The coupon also advertised a «birthday special,» which we claimed for one of our friends. The staff was quite confused about this but in the end turned out the special was a cookie. Staff was super nice and good-natured about everything!

I was a huge fan!!! I had a turkey on multigrain with Swiss, bacon, mayo, pickles, Lettuce, tomato, mustard. Sandwich is toasted and man it was sooooooo good. I ended up going to this place twice in 4 days I liked it that much! Staff was friendly, double and triple checked to make sure they got your order correct. They move you through quickly, and during the lunch rush they were taking orders via iPad to help the flow.

I REALLYLOVE Potbelly Sandwiches. Better than Subways? YUP Better than your favorite bagel shop? YUP Better than what you make at your house? NOPE But especially if you are craving a well made sandwich, this is where I’d go. I always go for the chicken with cheddar and turkey. Both in the large size because Asians can eat. That is not a myth, it’s a fact. The premium toppings aren’t really worth it in my opinion but if you had to add on something that you are paying an extra 60 cents for, go for artichoke. It’s healthier for you. Otherwise, stick with the free ones. Price is comparable to their Flatiron location. More expensive than Subways yes but quality also better. FAN.

I will make this short and concise. No need for additional commentary: Horrible. Any native New Yorker who eats here should be banished from the city and transplants to NYC should be exiled back to whatever disgusting flyover place they came from, and let them gradually grow obese on vile corporate chain restaurant food. Who the f*ck comes to live in NYC and eats this dreadful garbage? We don’t need NYC turned into a suburban mall, and anybody who says this nauseating food is good has zero credibility. Disregard any Unilocal restaurant reviews from people who say they like this place, unless you base your choices on the taste of an idiot or a vulgarian. But if you are an Oreo-milkshake guzzling moron, this might be paradise for you. PS: The question has arisen«Why did I eat here?». The answer: Some person who took me to lunch asked me to meet him here. I didn’t want to embarrass him by criticizing his taste in lunch venues. My «Italian» sandwich was revolting, and the chemical aftertaste lingered until the next morning. Stomach turning.

Delicious. I got the Mediterranean sandwich and it was amazing. Milkshakes are out of this world good, make sure to get one. Service can get a little slow on the weekend, but it’s nothing to complain about. Ingot my food in a reasonable amount of time. Restaurant is in general pretty clean and is pretty modern which is nice. I would definitely go back.

Sometimes they have a musician come in and play during lunch hours. The place is pretty packed during lunch hours but very efficient operations. Staff is incredibly friendly. Good sandwiches!

Yum… I love potbelly. The most famous sandwich here is the wreck but I really love their pizza sub. Its meatball, pepperoni, and marinara sauce. I love love love their hot peppers here. I also prefer my sandwiches pretty toasted and I was thrilled that they toast their sandwiches very well. There customer service is also exceptional!

Food is great — love that you can get a thin sub. Customer service was over-the-top outstanding. I placed an order online and there was a mix up and the guy couldn’t deliver it. The woman who was working had been calling me but I entered the wrong number. She also called the Potbelly within my radius but they weren’t delivering. She was extremely apologetic, and offered to comp the meal and provide free meal coupons if I picked it up. It’s a shame there was a mishap, but the recovery and service was excellent. Food was great too.

Under the managerial expertise of the friendly, hard-working, regularly on-site Paul D., all is right with this location of Potbelly again: the engine of sandwich production is running as efficiently as the trading floors of the [way too] BigBanks [that did fail, epically] and of that temple of commerce, American Acropolis, the NYSE, a stone’s throw from this humble sandwich shop on fair Maiden Lane. Also, those from Chicago(and those wishing for a higher quality version in all respects of Subway’s $ 5 foot-long) will be happy to to see that«Bigs» have arrived in the concrete jungle! Contrariwise, those not wishing to embody the name of this chain and sick of Just Salad are now able to order«SKINNYS” – “Less meat & cheese on „Thin Cut“ bread — all under 400 calories!» Finally, whoever is responsible for curating the music selection has great taste, making dining in the shop most pleasant.

Potbelly is like an upscale subway if you’ve never been to one. It was late for lunch but there was a bit of a line and service was slow. I think I only counted 2 people working the line and they also were their own cashier(vs having a dedicated cashier). Guess they didn’t expect so many people after the lunch rush. But wish it was a little bit quicker. Anyways I got a large«A Wreck» to go. It was a little over $ 8. They cut it in half for easy eating. And it was warm when I left. But I didn’t have it till about an hour later. I wish I could’ve enjoyed it warm. Good amount of meat-to-bread ratio. Loved the sauce(mayo and mustard) and you were able to customize with your choice of veggies. I was definitely full after this meal.

Come here for well-made sandwich. The Potbelly sandwich is enviable. I’ve had it all over and even in airports and the line is promises to be under 7 minutes. It’s a great option to fall back on because the product is consistently good all over. My favorite is the Wreck. If I’m looking for a sandwich, this is a great place to go. As I’ve starting eating out a lot more, eating a sandwich every day is not sustainable. I’ll be looking around for more healthy options.

Decent sandwich with great prices! For the price you’re paying its about $ 1 – 2 less than the surrounding sandwich places well other than Subways but honestly this place is much better than Subways. The interior is very clean and kept well, seating area is a bit small but that’s understandable since majority of the people here will just get their food to go. The sandwich I had was good bread was pretty fresh and the meats were decent. The smoothie was really delicious and thick not watered down with ice and water like other places so I really enjoyed it. With the sandwich and smoothie barely top $ 10 this place is really good choice for a cheap but good lunch. People working here are pretty friendly and they have staff getting your orders with an iPad while you wait in line so overall the wait isn’t really that bad, maybe 10 – 15 minutes total. Overall a pretty good place that I plan to visit more often in the future as its only a block away from my building.
