This place is not Queen Jane Nail Salon… it is Charlys nail salon and it is awful. I put a review under Charlys nail salon of my horrific experience. I thought I made an appointment with Queen Jane and showed up to this place just to have Queen Jane call me asking where I was. Dont go there if you want anything other than a regular manicure or youll end up with cuts on ever single finger bleeding and have to pay $$$$ even tho you are clearly bleeding… The most painful experience of my life.

Only giving it 2 stars because the place was clean and the guy who did my pedicure was very nice. But my nails were an absolute 1 star!!! The nail polish was completely uneven and was already nicked in some spots when he was done. There was also top coat ALLOVER the edges of my nails and on my skin. It was hands down the worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. I went home and decided that I hated it so much that I went to a nail salon across the street to get them re-done! It was the biggest waste of money. Ended up costing $ 16.80 plus tip. Was really disappointed after reading such great reviews.

$ 25UV gel manicure! You can’t beat that. The salon is cozy and they move fast, in and out in less than an hour every time. I know some people love mani/pedis, I hate them. It’s an inconvenience, it’s uncomfortable, I get so bored and fidgety but this salon makes it tolerable if not actually quite enjoyable. I also find it extremely rude when I’m getting my nails done to the sound of a bunch of manicurists yapping away to each other in another language — they never do that here. It’s the first nail salon I’ve been to that doesn’t have manicurists that do that.

Really good service for the price! Got a $ 21 dollar mani/pedi and loved it! Took their time, and we’re very precise.

Update: I love this salon. The people who work there are so nice. Charly owns the salon and it is a family business. He gives an amazing massage when you are feeling stressed. They have a winter special for mani /pedi for $ 17. You cannot beat that price. Definitely try it out. I tried this place after walking out of Chameleon Spa across the street for the wait and negative vibe. Queen Jane is on the second floor and has an old, slightly sketchy sign which made me weary to enter, but decided to give it a try. I was relieved to find that the inside is actually really nice and clean. They don’t play pop radio like most salons and have a sign asking for no cell phone use. Half way through my pedicure I realized I was unusually relaxed. The guy who did my pedicure was very nice and extremely detailed. He did not rush at all. The same went for the man who did my nails, who spoke very minimal English. I got a 10 minute massage which was nice but not the best I’ve ever gotten. Great service and nails still look perfect several days later. Prices are competitive with other nails places in the area. Mani /pedi $ 25. I will definitely go back and would recommend it above the place across the street.

Though I’ve not tried all of the 10 salons in the 1 blk radius where I live, I do highly recommend thisone. It’s upstairs so it feels like a tree top escape. Very tranquil. In fact they don’t allow/encourage cell phone use when there. I kind of like that. Very clean, friendly, professional. There are many little touches there that make it feel like more than a chop shop. I’m particularly fond of the new gel color that they offer. not like the old kind that leaves your nails a mess.

Received a mani/pedi here for $ 18. I thought the lady didn’t really try to scrub my feet or give me much of a little hand massage, the stuff I love which relaxes me. The manicure started chipping after a day so I wasn’t that happy either, but it lasted about a week.

I’ve been going here since about 10 years old. No, i didn’t get weekly manicures but my older cousin would take me here when she went. I’ve been to nail salons in Jersey, Queens, and NYC and this is hands down the best spot. They take their time and paint your nails PERFECTLY. Some other places rush or mess up a little. Their service is EXCELLENT. One of the ladies even gave my girlfriend an orange before she left.
