The Ralph Bunche Park looks to me like it has been abandoned. It is dirty, unkept landscaping and has homeless sleeping under the scaffolding. It is such a shame that this has happened. It appears all nearby work has ceased.
What’s worse it is right across the street from the United Nations!
I believe at one time I may have taken a seat here. It has been a mess for so long I rush through when I walk down town. It is hard to look at the mess.

As Chocoolate (pronounced how?) mentioned, this isn’t as much a park as it is a few benches with a view of big buildings and a stairway past an inscribed wall.

Ok, so it is more of a great spot to take pictures of the United Nations and Chrysler Building than it is a park but it is worth five minutes to capture these great shots. Equally cool is The Isiah Wall and stairs that lead to and from the park.
