Yeah — he’s been indicted for massive medicare fraud, as well as convicted of sexually abusing a patient. So as for these glowing reviews… not so much.

This guy was fantastic. He makes you feel completely at ease the first moment he sees you. Highly recommended.

My first visit to Dr. Aymat waaayyy back in 1998:
He does all the usual check up things. Awesome. I’m in there for a throat thing — strep — because I’m a stupid 22 year old and I do too much of a certain powdery substance and end up with strep a lot (clean now for 5 years and counting, thanks for asking). Dr. A makes sure that I’m taking care of myself in a way that doesn’t at all make me feel judged or threatened. And then he asks:
DR. A: What about sex? Are you having safe sex?
ME: Yeah. I dated someone positive for two years, so I know all about safe sex.
DR. A: Are you sure? Here take this.
He hands me a pamphlet about condom use and all that jazz.
ME: It’s cool. I don’t need it.
DR. A: Just take it. Use it to whack off, there are photographs of hard cocks, instead of drawings. It’s porn. I’m giving you porn. Just take it, cookie!
He has been my doctor ever since.
I love Roberto (yeah, now we’re on a first name basis). He always acts like he wants to see me and tells me to come visit even when I’m not sick. He always assesses my condition quickly and accurately when I AM sick, and on one occasion actually saved my life (I had one of those scary super-​staph infections you hear about). I trust him like I trust my family (who are doctors and nurses, by the way).
Give him a visit — you won’t regret it.
