I can’t believe no one else has reviewed Dr. McMenomey on Unilocal! I went to see him in Sept, after having 2 weeks of ear pain and significant hearing loss in my right ear. Before seeing him, my primary care physician and and ENT specialist had both misdiagnosed me, the later with a suspected cholesteotoma which is a pretty serious condition requiring surgery. Both had prescribed antibiotics which made the situation worse. Making matters worse, I am currently pregnant so this was all totally stressing me out. Plus I couldn’t hear! Dr. McMenomey immediately recognized the problem as fungal(gross, I know!) and washed out the ear, removing most of the fungus. I could hear again! A week or so of acetic acid took care of the rest. In short, he did what doctors are meant to do: He identified the issue and resolved it. I observed him to be professional, academic, serious about his work, and accomplished in his field. I would recommend him to anyone having any sort of ear issue and am happy to have an amazing ENT specialist in my rolodex should I need one in the future.
