Attention IRS, if you want an easy audit target, pick Sedutto. Because there’s no conceivable way they could stay in business without severely cooking the books and/or being a drug front. Customer service 101: don’t have a horrible(to look at and interact with) old woman behind the counter of your fro yo place. Seriously, I have seen less frightening homeless people defecating on the subway. I can not fathom anyone coming in here, having a positive experience, and coming back. Key takeaway: the world is a confusing place sometimes. How the owner(s) of this place don’t realize how poorly their business is being managed AND how it continues to exist is beyond me.

A real freak show on the sidewalk outside of this sad excuse for an ice cream shop last night. A red faced, bloated, alcoholic looking guy was towering over the elderly Asian woman who works here, as he berated her at the top of his lungs for not doing her job the way he wanted her to. Kept screaming at her to listen to him, while she cowered in her uniform and cap, giving him her full, terrified attention. If this guy is her pathetic boss, he should be ashamed of his racist, bigoted, bullying self. If he’s her«friend» as he claimed he was, she should know that he’s only her friend so he can have someone to kick around. What a loser. Typical bully — inflating himself — to himself — at the expense of others.

This place is terrible. It’s a normal ice cream shop. Froyo and regular Icecream. It’s part of a chain and this is NOT a reflection on any other sedutto. It’s awful though Has a «candy wall»… If you ever bought a pack of baseball cards from the 80s and decided to eat the decade old stale gum as a joke. That’s sorta what it reminds me of. It is all old. Like frighteningly old candy. Almost«vintage» except this is an ice cream shop. So is the lady that works there. It’s this old asian woman who just sucks for reasons having nothing to do with her being old or asian. She just seems crabby. It’s like yo lady you’re running an ice cream store. Happy times! Icecream. Except she’s not. She’s all pushy and rollin’ her eyes at orders… She exudes the happiness of someone who is lactose intolerant being offered ice cream on an abnormally cold winter day where somehow it is still managing to rain(wtf?!) instead of snow. I don’t say that lightly. Probably arsenic in the vanilla. That’s a joke, but enough ice cream in this big city to get your fill somewhere else.

There a lack of good ice cream shops on the ues and with so many popping up everywhere else in the city and Brooklyn I desperately hoped this would be something great. The lady behind the counter made me feel as if I was bothering her. I asked for a sample and didn’t love the flavor. So when I asked for another she said that would be my last and gave me the most miniscule sample I couldn’t actually taste it. No thank you. Went and picked up a carton of special edition samoas ice cream. I win.

This place is really gross. Especially compared to all the others close by. I stopped in today and the woman who served me went from handling a dirty mop to serving ice cream. The store is unkempt, covered in dirt, there was random papers in the sample spoons bin. I only ate my ice cream because it(the smallest small i have ever had. She didn’t even fill the bowl) was nearly $ 4! Next time I’ll walk the extra three blocks and get froyo

Go to the sedutto further down 1st ave. between 78th and 79th. It’s like night and day. The ice cream selection is so poor here, I don’t know how they stay in business. I’d rather buy ice cream from the grocery store.

This Sedutto is definitely NOT the same kind of Sedutto on 78th street that has the MOST amazing ice cream ever. I swear I saw the lady putting Breyers ice cream into the canisters… Meh, I’d pass if I were you!

This place is dirty and disgusting. I walked in for the first time to try it out and I noticed the man behind the counter rinsing old cups out in the sink, likely to reuse… gross. I should have walked out then. The Oreos in my frozen yogurt were stale and chewy, as if they had been around for several months. But I was craving froyo so I continued to eat it. Then, after I had already eaten a good portion of my froyo, I found 3 tiny flies at the bottom of the cup mixed in within the remaining Oreos. I can’t understand how this place has a single positive review, they must be fake. Do yourself a favor and make the walk down to 16 Handles instead.

i go here a lot with my friends, i think it is the best ice cream in the upper east side. wonderful flavors. you can really have anything but i like the colorful flavors like rainbow or cake batter. This place almost closed so i’m really happy it reopened.

My niece brought me here for the first time today, she got birthday cake ice cream w/rainbows sprinkles and I got strawberry ice cream with chopped peanuts. She loves the ice cream here. I think it’s pretty good for a local ice cream parlour.

This is my favorite fro yo place in the UES, and believe you me, my husband and I eat an obnoxious amount of fro yo. I like it because(a) the quality is always fantastic, and(b) the guys that work there are super friendly and make you feel like you’re in a small-town ice cream shoppe rather than a fro yo chain.

I got the peanut butter cake frozen yogurt. It was so rich and creamy that it could have passed for real ice cream! Only complaint is that the employees didn’t speak much English.
