Serenity New York

Some are sicker than others, and that would be the case with the staff at Serenity New York. I’ll skip over the fact the support staff never smiles and walks around like untreated addicts (which is enough to make anyone wonder what is so great about sobriety) and move on to the clinical staff and management. This is a privately owned company. What that means is they do not report to any state organizations so essentially they can treat you however they want and you have no recourse. Also, none of the staff there is certified or licensed to treat addiction or mental health. This is an organization whose sole purpose is to make money, and if they have to push you towards relapse to get there, so be it. They will fudge, obfuscate and outright lie about rules, regulations, conversations, affiliations, anything that will make you doubt your sanity and bring them more money for their fee for service operation. Don’t let the hefty pricetag fool you. There is nothing professional, compassionate or considerate about this company. They operate just out of any regulating organization. Serenity New York is more «racket» than «recovery»
