In town for the Holidays and extremely fortunate to have found Gabriel Shimunov!!! From the moment I walked in the staff was very warm and professional. He was very assertive and new exactly what I wanted with a simple explanation. I wanted volume and waves which ended in perfection. My daughter with very curly hair was also ecstatic to have found such a talented person for her hair! Tip must be cash so be sure to have on hand since they deserve it 100%!!! We will definitely be back!!!

Best Manhattan salon for a blow dry and fabulous location near 5^th avenue and 57 th. My god daughter and I needed a last minute blow dry and were lucky enough to book Gabriel and his incredible team to help us during the busy holiday season. Gabriel has an inclusive list of followers and he puts customer service first as is evidenced by his professionalism, talent and discrete location. We both received the most incredible blow drys and perfect for each of us, a first for me as often it takes a stylist a bit to figure out my hair. Gabriel is a true artist and a must book for me going forward. I came for the blow dry but I will be returning for a cut/color soon!

I booked my appointment while still in Honolulu and was quite impressed with the quick reply via email to confirm and then remind me of my scheduled appointment.
Gabriel washed and blow dried my hair and I was extremely happy with the volume he put into my normally flat style. From start to finish, it took 28 minutes. I will definitely be back!

Gabriel’s is a great hair salon for Men as well. First time at the salon and it will not be my last. Got my hair washed and conditioned first which was nice. Hair cut was thorough and well done, love it. In a great location in manhattan and the place is chic and clean. I really recommend Gabriel Shimunov’s Hair Salon for Women and Men!!!

I feel so lucky to have found Gabriel’s Salon on Unilocal.I’m only visiting for hte weekend — but it was a perfect way to treat myself. The wash and head massage by Tess was amazing and my hair looks great from the blow out. Way better than the bigger-chain competitors. Next time I’m in NYC, I’ll leave room for a haricut!

Four days of weather that involved rain and humidity did a number on my hair. I wanted to find a blow dry service close to my hotel that wouldn’t cost a fortune. This is the place!
Gabriel did a fantastic job on my hair. Two shampoos and a blow dry with a big round brush. My hair looks amazing.
One helpful hint. It’s not easy to find the salon. It’s on the 11^th floor of an office building suite 1106. There’s a solid door and it has Gabriel’s name on it. The building is at the corner of 57^th and 6^th

I was vising NY from Chicago and wanted to get a last minute blow out. I founded this place on Unilocal and decide to give it a try. It was hard to find it, but I called and Gabrielle was very attentive and accommodating .
He did an AMAIZING job. I have thin hair and he create volume for me and looks very nice

Going up to the 11^th floor of a high rise building and searching for an office suite/hair stylist seemed a bit odd to this out-of-towner but to coin a phrase: «Get over it!» After a hot day in the sun on 5^th and 57^th, I needed a little refreshing – aka my hair looked like I had just stepped out of a steam sauna. From the moment that I stepped into Gabriel Shimunov’s 11^th floor salon, I knew that I was in great hands. Gabriel really knows what he is doing and transformed my hair from flat, frizzy and lifeless to bouncy, shiny and full of style. The charge for this transformation was quite reasonable and well within most travelers’ budgets.
Plus, after 3 hot days in the sun, my hair still looks pretty good. I absolutely recommend that you contact Gabriel Shimunov and schedule a visit!
