There are many things that I like about this spa — mainly a masseuse named Daria who is their shining star and they are lucky to have such a gifted artist on board. Having a massage with her is absolutely magical and you will be transported to a state of pure bliss and serenity. A talent that not every masseuse has. Additionally the ladies handling reservations and check in were both courteous, professional and very helpful. The ladies changing area was clean, orderly, and well stocked with the appropriate necessities. The relaxation area was also very well done and comfortable with a nice selection of teas, chocolates, etc. I also liked the small but very tasteful/high end assortment of products available for purchase next to reception. One of the things that I didn’t particularly enjoy was the layout — in particular the steam room and jacuzzi being co-ed and in the open pool area. At the time I was visiting there was a family with a small child in diapers in the jacuzzi. Not only was this very un-spa like in terms of setting but it was also unsanitary. I don’t think children in diapers should be allowed in the jacuzzi. For that reason I opted not to go in so I missed out on that portion of my spa experience. The steam room which is adjacent to the jacuzzi is also not very relaxing. The room itself is great but the location is horrible as you can hear children screeching and splashing about in the pool and jacuzzi a few feet away. At least this is what I was hearing when I was there. The pool was lovely but maybe reposition the lifeguard chair so it’s in the corner at an angle vs right at the end of the pool so he’s not staring directly down at you when you come up for air — it’s just a little uncomfortable. In a nutshell — it would have been a much more pleasant experience if the ladies changing room had it’s own private steam room and jacuzzi. Additionally there was a young child running around the changing room while I was there. I’m not sure why this was happening or even allowed but I can’t recall seeing this in a high end spa ever before. Most people go to the spa to relax/unwind and are seeking a peaceful, tranquil, serene escape from their otherwise stressful, hectic life. A six year old boy running through the ladies changing room playing with the hairdryers and stomping his feet really doesn’t work towards creating that kind of experience/environment. Children under 12 should not be allowed. Another thing I noticed was the lack of hooks in the restrooms and also the private changing room. If you are sitting on the toilet you don’t want to have to hold your robe up and gather it around you — you take it off momentarily but I did not see a hook on which to hang it? I also noticed that there was only one hook outside the steam room which really doesn’t make sense as clearly the steam room is meant to hold more than one person at a time so where are the other people meant to hang their robes? As I mentioned at the start of this review, Daria is amazing so for that reason I will return. In terms of the layout it’s a pity they chose the one they did as it doesn’t really lend itself to creating a serene spa experience unless of course you are the only one in the spa. It would have been such a better utilization of space to have put a steam room in the ladies changing room where they have the private changing room.

One of the best facials ever! I’ve been to several Park Hyatts and tried out their facials but this one was easily the best. My aesthetician Joanna was amazing. She was very professional and as a plus, elegant! After my facial, I noticed how I kept internally saying«OMGTHATWASAMAZING» over and over.
