The brick and mortar location doesn’t feel like a modern conception of retail — the window«display,» is cluttered with gear and tubes and tools, the same as the rest of the place. It has the messy clutter of a workspace, unpretentious and kind of old-school NY. You won’t mistake it for a chain hardware store but don’t be afraid. I found these guys when I needed a couple lock cylinders replaced and randomly found their number. After a brief conversation the owner quoted me a very reasonable price, without any attempt to upsell me, and about ten minutes later two guys came over to eyeball what I needed. One of the guys returned an hour later with the hardware(wish I remembered his name because he was great) and did an excellent job. Afterwards, I dropped by to get some keys made and the owner threw them in for free. Apparently, they do a lot of ironwork. I felt they deserved a Unilocal review and here it is.
