Cashier was rude, dismissive and got my friendsorder wrong. But it’s starbucks so i doubt they care.

Great workers! Quick lines and quick drinks made. I was able to grab a great seat to people watch too. It’s a huge Starbucks, but you can never go wrong if you want a simple drink.

I rarely come to this starbucks but I’ve made the right choice tonight. The workers here are great! So friendly and pretty funny. Due to cravings, I came here for the caramel macchiato. The gentleman making my drink was playing along with my craziness. Conversing and joking with other customers as well. A very cool guy, he makes me happy after a long day of work. Very entertaining~ I accidently knocked my drink on the floor when trying to pick it up and he offered making me a new one. That was 100% my fault but he was being so sweet. I didn’t take the offer but I am feeling absolutely fantastic. Thank you sir that I didn’t get the name of for making my day so pleasant.

One of the better Starbucks in the city. Lots of space for studying, large glass windows for prime time people watching.

If you can get a seat, this location is a great spot to do some studying. It’s huge with a lot of seating and conveniently located near the 6, N and R trains. I usually come a little after 6PM on weekdays and have always been able to snag a spot, and around this time of day there aren’t serious crowds. The staff was fast and friendly. The only con of this location is that they really blast the music, so it can get really loud. Also, I definitely cosign the observation that characters frequent this spot, which(depending on how belligerent they are) can either make for a good story to share with your friends or a really annoying experience. All in all, one of the better Starbucks locations in NYC, and a good place to do work if you come at the right time of day.

This is probably the one of the cooler Starbucks in the city. Mainly because layout of the place makes for prime people watching. There’s always characters at this location, so expect a few good laughs. Other than that, it’s just your ordinary Starbucks. I must say, it’s always impossible to find seating here. It’s a pretty huge location with a ton of tables, but since it’s located right next to the subway exit, it’s going to be always packed. It’s annoying because most people here are camped out for hours. Great place to do work tho, that is, if you find a spot to sit. I always find it funny when i see people standing outside stealing the starbucks wifi. I mean, hey, why not. It’s not like some starbucks employee is going to run out and shoo you away. This place being a Starbucks is nothing special, but the location is what makes it awesome. It’s cozy, has a lot of seating, and just a classic café set up.

The people working at this Starbucks know how to handle a crowd! Since this Starbucks is located near the 6, N, and R train, people are bound to stop by before hopping on the train. Which is why there is always a long line. There are three cash registers and all three is being used, speeding up the wait time. I love their system of printing out stickers with your order on it so they won’t mess up your order, since it is right there, typed and not written. This Starbucks is quite big with additional sections that provide more seats. Finding a seat is a different story since there never seem to be any available. I love how big and organized this Starbucks is. Hopefully I will be able to find a seat next time.

I’ve never really had a problem with the staff. Some of them are clearly not the sharpest tools in the shed but they’ve always been friendly enough and gotten me the right drink in a reasonable time. This place is just absolute chaos. First, it’s always packed. The line for the bathroom is absurd. I’ve never seen the inside of the bathroom and I hope I never have to. Clientele is 1) NYU kids, some of whom are still of the mindset that hanging out at the Starbucks in the Barnes and Noble at the mall is a cool thing to do and are trying to replicate the experience; 2) Tourists, specifically Russian tourists for some reason; and 3) People who seem to have nowhere else to go. They will sit there literally all day, with a several-days-old coffee cup. There are so many corners and random walls blocking the view that the staff can’t possibly tell people to GTFO when they’ve clearly finished their coffee. You can never get a seat. I don’t think there’s anything the staff can really do about this, it just makes it such a hassle to go there.

Why should I even review a Starbucks. Stopped by this location to get 2 fraps. I received one of them and waited another 5 mins to receive my other frap. Not sure why it took that long in between and other people who ordered after me got their drinks first but ok. Friendly cashiers though!

Lovely service! The two guys working the Friday night shift were so cool and friendly. The coffee was exactly as I like it, and I especially am happy about Edrickson’s service: he remembered my order, even though I’ve only been there once before!

To start off, I’m not a person to put reviews for Starbucks. I don’t expect a smile or a cheer routine when I order, as long as I can get my drink. But THIS Starbucks. Oh boy. A few days ago, I came in this Starbucks to order a grande Iced Peach Green Tea, with a few slices of lime. The guy who took my order, completely pleasant, despite that it was very busy. Added an extra 50 cents. I wait and my order comes out. This is, and I quote the EXACT way the conversation goes, since I was comedically amused and pissed off and wrote it as a status on fb: Me: I ordered lime with this. Starbucks Guy: *heavy accent* vat? Me: Lime. Lime? Starbucks: Vat? *looks at cup* You ordered dis. Dis is the iced tea. Me: Lime. Lime slices. Lime. Starbucks guy: *starts yelling, looks at me like I’m crazy, and proceeds to get red* Vat?! Dis is the green iced tea I dunno vat you are talking about! Me: Oh my g– Forget it! But dude, what was there to get?! It was on the receipt! I WANTEDLIME. JUSTLIME. The woman next to me offered condolences. Yup. That was what happened. But I’m not an unreasonable person. I brush it off. I’ve had much worse in customer service in New York. But then today I went to get iced water… Me: Hi, can I get a large iced water? Starbucks Woman: We dun got large. Me: Oh. sorry, grande? Is that still considered lar– Starbucks Woman: No I told chu we dun GOT large. Chu can only geta tall here. Tall. Me: Ok, ok whatever. Whatever. *waits for it a few feet away* Starbucks Woman: —HAHA Like dis girl was ordering a LARGE iced water and I was liike girl… we only have a tall… Who in the world chu think chu are— I JUSTWANTEDWATER. WATER. Was that bloody necessary to be incredibly rude and unprofessional? It was the same terrible Starbucks location. I never thought I would be that person that has«favorite/hated Starbucks locations», but gdi, I guess I do know what Starbucks I won’t be going to anymore even if it’s 100 degrees out and I’m dying of thirst with pigeons at my heels awaiting to scavenge my corpse.

I’m a fan of this Starbucks vis a vis other Starbucks in the area because it has a lot of seating(though good luck finding an outlet) and is open late(past midnight). Yes, it can be hard to find seating, but its your best chance to find any in the area. Also, when I went to refill my iced green tea they gave me a free green tea latte, which was super nice!

I usually pop in here when I’m waiting for a friend to show up so we can prowl the neighborhood bars and izakayas. It’s right by the Astor place train station, so it’s busy most of the time. The line is usually wicked long in here, but it moves pretty quickly. Like your typical Starbucks they usually have music playing but it’s not blaring, so it’s a good place to come and study or have a chat over a cuppa. The staff are friendly and competent, and on the rare occasion I didn’t like how what I ordered came out the were never begrudging about replacing it. That being said, if you’re a laptop user looking for an outlet, it’s come early or luck out. The tables are usually rammed with NYU students, and when it’s finals week you may as well avoid this place altogether if you’re looking for a seat. The line for the restroom is FOREVER long, and not always the most sanitary. However, if you’ve gotta go, know it’s one of the few places in the city where you can pop in to relieve yourself.

Terrible starbucks. You would think with such an excellent location and size of location that it would be on par. It’s also the saddest starbucks I’ve ever been too. It just has a sad vibe(not the usual happy starbucks vibe). Let me start off and end with the two females who take orders — theyre miserable. Just saying«next in line» was an effort. And they say it with a sad I don’t want to be here tone. I order a simple coffee frap. I tell her«no whip cream in case you use it here». She(indian female) begins to get an attitude«we DONOT use so not sure why you’re telling me not to include it». I nicely respond with«some locations will ask if you want whip cream, for example this morning I had one at Starbucks on Delancey and they asked me». She starts to argue with me that the recipe doesn’t call for it so she doesn’t understand why I told her no whipcream”. I responded with«enough with this conversation. It’s over». Lina and Eric who make the drinks were very nice . Please ensure bathroom availability for paying customers. Not many outlets I’m dumbfounded by the whole conversation. Needless to say, I will never come back to this location.

This place is super spacious for being a Manhattan starbucks! They were pretty well staffed on a Friday evening so it was quick service. I felt like my iced caramel macchiato had too high of a milk: espresso ratio though. I guess it didn’t help that the girl who was handing out people’s drinks was tilting every drink at a 45 degree angle and spilling the drinks to read the names. I would understand if the cup was dark… but mine was a milk white background. Goodbye precious espresso… :(

This is probably one of the largest Starbucks I’ve been to and that there is in Manhattan. I used to come here frequently, but not as much anymore. I used to come here for a coffee or drink after a date in St. Marks or just because I would need coffee. It’s conveniently located near the N, R 8th street station and 6 train — Astor Place. The staff here are pretty friendly and quick at cranking out those lattes, coffees, and much more. I love how there’s a tremendous amount of light from the sun shining through the glasses. I like that this Starbucks has lots of open space, a lot of seating, and pretty laid back.

Ever since college, I loved this location. The baristas are friendly and know how to make their lattes and frappé. I had the new caramel crunch frappuchino. It was delicious. Great location to study, read, work on your computer or just people watch while enjoying your coffee of choice.

This was my least favorite StarSUCKS. With a great location like this WHY couldn’t it be up to par? The bathroom lines are the equivalent to the lines to greet the Pope. Thus it behooves me to ask why the bathrooms are ALWAYS filthy??? And if that isn’t bad enough, most of the time, one of the two bathrooms is usually out-of-order. You’re better off walking across the street to K-Mart, up to the second floor, behind children’s wear to the public restrooms. There at least you’re almost guaranteed of getting a quick seat on one of the four, fairly tidy thrones. Back at StarSUCKS, I would pass on that new breakfast bacon and«egg» wrap. It tastes gross and the EGGISFAKE!!! The bacon has the texture of a doggy treat and the whole thing resembles a hockey puck PLUS the fake yolk looks like someone«painted» it on. The staff overall is pretty friendly except for this one woman-hating queen who always give me major attitude whenever I come in. What could he(she) possibly be reading into my meek request for the«coffee of the day?» Also, this place is a hangout for the homeless(I’m not judging cause I have been there also) but there are areas of this establishment that REEK of smells that are not of food or beverage-origin. This location is open til 1:00AM every night except Sunday and they open at 5:30AM. The upside is they let you hang out there ALL day with just a single purchase of coffee. Unfortunately, people take advantage of this and NEVER relinquish their seat. There are also a few village idiots who have the audacity to bring«outside» food and beverages in the store without even making a single purchase. Thus good luck getting a seat.

This seem to be the go to spot for bathrooms. Well at least for me and everyone else on this bathroom line. It’s always long. well what do you expect from a hot spot such as St. Marks. I can’t imagine how many times the workers have to deal with the bathroom. Besides the bathroom 411, you’ll see a lot of NYU students here studying. It’s not going to be easy to find a seat.

Two Stars for Starbucks? Yes. Their location? amazing The history this place has? Lengthy The fact that they didnt have my peach green tea LEMONADE? Deplorable I had to settle for just iced peach green tea? Ok. But then when the bathrooms are closed after I drink all of my drink & We have to go to Kmart to use the bathroom and change the serenity of my evening? Beyond ANNOYING!
