This particular subway kind of sucks on many levels. The co-workers lie about bathroom being«out of order» to avoid cleaning it. Lazy workers and terrible customer service!

Meh. Lots of seating on two levels; couches and TV on the lower level. So far, so good. The food? Well, $ 5 foot-longs are no more. They cost $ 6.50 — $ 9 here, and are mostly a bread-and-condiment sandwich. Very little meat or cheese. The«combo special» where you add chips and a smallish soda for a extra $ 2.75 plus tax is not an attractive deal at all. And, no free refills from the soda dispenser. It’ll fill you up, but you really don’t expect to spend ten bucks at this kind of place and if you do it, you should get a lot more bang for those bucks than you do here. P. S.: In the back are Uno and smoothie concessions that have never, ever actually been open to the best of my knowledge.

I wanted only meatballs. Not a meatball sandwich and not a meatball salad. While other locations had no problem selling their meatballs separately, this location claimed they could not. No problem… I spent my money elsewhere… ONJUSTMEATBALLS… just what THIS customer wanted.

Went here during lunch time, usually I go to a different location a few short blocks away but since I was walking around n rushing to get back to work I decided to shortcut to this one. I mean, there’s no shortage of Subways in midtown, so pretty much there’s one every few blocks. Maybe it’s just my first impression, but the employees here seem to not comprehend basic instructions or maybe they are deaf. There was 4 or 5 workers at the counter and only perhaps the person at the cash register was alert or apt enough to process incoming information. And there was only few customers present, at least at the particular time I was there. O can just imagine these people struggling to death at the regular location I go to. That location is always mega busy and people there for the most part work like bees or ants. It’s a real assembly line dude

Wow they refused to give me a cup for water. This will be my last time coming here. I think we all agree that most subways are the same but a rude counter person refusing to give me a cup for water is enough to keep me away

Horribly trained employees, ordered a 6″ and everything was out of proportioned. None of the stuff were spread out. All the cheese were on one end, onions only in the middle, asked for extra cucumbers and only gave me 2 pieces, had to ask him 3 times before he gave me extra peppers and onions. Told him just 1 line of honey mustard and he gave me 4. This was the third time this happened at this same location, will not be going to this location again… Would give it zero stars if possible, will be going to the subways located on 39th between Broadway and Avenue of Americas now on

Owner of this Subway, Narinder, kept her promise on rewarding me for my previous experience. Love it when the owners live up to their words. Thank you to Paroul as well helping out on this situation. A real standup group.

I chose to come to this location as it’s clean and close to work however I was denied mozzarella for my sandwich because it’s reserved only for pizza. I’ve worked at subway on the past and been to many. Never heard of such a preposterous thing. Following up with that they charge more than other subway locations in the area. Drink refills are charged 50 – 75 cents depending on your cup size The sandwich«artist» denied my request for my tuna sandwich to be toasted citing the fish will ruin their oven and that all subway locations will only toast bread. I rarely choose to Unilocal a review but this one merited a warning

Subway. Reimagined as a lounge. Yeahhhh. So I get a coupon flyer from an unsavory chap standing on the street corner outside work to come try this high-end version if the typical Subway experience. As soon as I saw the sign outside calling this place the Subway Café, my mind wandered back to the time when Dane Cook wanted to frequent the BK Lounge… Not sure who thought of this concept, pairing a few lounge chairs and padded seats with razor thin, all bread sandwiches but I’m sure they’re making a mint compared to me, so I hate them for 2 reasons now… Anyhoo, it’s Subway. With padded seats, some lounge chairs and a huge upstairs area to sit and eat. Except that today there very few tables in that huge open space. But the sandwiches are the same. Beg for more toppings, pay for more meat, wish there was less bread. Bah. I took back a star because their flyer promotion said a basic combo meal cost $ 6.25 today but I found out at the cashier that my footlong didn’t count and has to pay full price… Boo!

Yes Yes Yes this Subway Café is clean and fancy, but when it comes to the food… Forget About It! They are so cheap with the vegetables as to be laughable. They even had the nerve to want to charge extra for spinach which the regular Subways have never done before. And for this super skinny, barely any vegetables compared to other stores sandwich, they had the nerve to charge MORE than any other Subway! Look there are a ton of Subways in NYC, so keep walking past this concept store and walk the extra block to a regular Subway where you actually get some value for your hard earned dollars!

I have eaten here perhaps a dozen times(or more), only because it’s right outside of my office. While it depends on who’s making your sandwich, almost every time the amount of ingredients you get for your order is dismal. For instance, in a 12″ sub: «olives» translates to roughly a tablespoon of pieces, «onions» translates to a light sprinkling equal to perhaps two thirds of a slice, a «cheese steak» gets four little triangles of cheese which add up to less than 2 Kraft singles slices, and two trays of meat the combined volume of which adds up to that of roughly one standard(3×3) post-it note pad. There’s no shortage of better venues right nearby to get a sandwich(WAY better and in the same price range, the Potbelly Sandwich Shop on 37th&7th, and Ben’s on 38th just off of 7th).
