This place is amazing. I was intrigued from the outside and when I walked in, I was greeted by great smells, delicious foods and juices, and an incredibly friendly employee named Leinani. I walked around the perfectly quaint shop for about ten minutes looking at all of the amazing products they had. Every single item looked so delicious! One thing I was really appreciative was that the fact that they had all their ingredients listed in front of each item. Being allergic to tree nuts, this was a luxury! After about ten minutes, Leinani came out and explained to me a bit about the foods. She was so nice and friendly and showed she really cared. She told me some of her recommendations, had given me a sample of one of the soups, and even told me ways I could make some of the things at home! I took tons of pictures so that I could buy ingredients at home. I ended up buying a cup of the spicy sweet potato soup and a chocolate chip cookie. They were fantastic! I wouldn’t have know that cookie was any bit healthy! It was perfect! The soup instantly became a favorite. Overall, this place has become my favorite stop for a snack or meal! I would recommend it to anyone! I’m looking forward to going back and getting a green juice and a salad!

Been here a couple of times and I have yet to try their coffee or other foods, but I’ve gotten a couple of their vegan and gluten-free baked goods, and I’ve been pretty happy with them. The chocolate chip cookie is somewhat soft, and not dry or hard — very satisfying. I also got the biscuit, which was only okay as it was quite salty, but at least it wasn’t terribly dry. It did have some herbs baked into the dough which added a nice flavor, so I might get it again. And as far as prices go, considering these items are vegan AND gluten-free, they are actually very reasonably priced — comparable or even a little less than other places I’ve gotten vegan gluten-free baked goods. Their food menu looks intriguing so I’d love to come back and try their breakfast, lunch or dinner offerings.

Sun In Bloom is near and dear to my heart but I have been unenthused with their selection lately. I live in Tribeca and was a regular everyday until recently. It would be nice if the deserts didn’t contain soy(lecithin) and if there was more garlic free options(dressings and pre packaged food options). One thing that I absolutely love is Chef Colleen’s deserts. Her deserts taste amazing, the cupcakes she makes are moist light and fluffy and she made a chocolate and strawberry vegan«cheesecake» one time that was heavenly! The only thing is that she rarely makes the deserts so now I only buy deserts when she makes them otherwise the cupcakes or muffins taste heavy and dry and the vegan cheesecakes taste subpar.

Got an iced coffee and a carrot muffin here today and both are delicious. The carrot muffin was warm and super soft and you could see and taste the thinly sliced carrot in it. This is my second time here, and I’ve had their banana chocolate bread and that is super tasty as well. I would say though that the pricing is not cheap here. The iced coffee and the banana bread total was $ 9 dollars! O_O So definitely can’t come here regularly on my budget. But for a special treat, this place is a good place to go.

The collard wrap was disappointing, the hummus even more so. The pizza was okay, the raw mousse — meh … Not too crazy about anything except the chocolate chip sandwich cookie. If you’re getting anything from here, make that a cookie! Sweet, gooey, yum… All the stars here are pretty much for the cookie! (Also no restrooms here– they sent me across the street!)

Check in offer alert! As if I needed any more sweets, check in on Unilocal and get a free cookie! I made two stops here on my five day trip to New York, so I clearly am a fan of this place! The salad I got was so dang good and fresh! I went back the second day and got a juice. Love their location and fast service. They definitely go for the convenience factor. Everything is pre-made for the most part so all you have to do is grab it out of the cooler area! The staff is also super kind and personable. I overheard her checking up on one of her regulars very warmly! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! They would without a doubt have all my money if I lived here ;).

Just finished their Bella Divine Salad, and the name doesn’t do it justice! Its probably the best pre-made salad, I ever had! A bit pricey, but value of good food is truly arrived.

I love this place(usually go to the Brooklyn sit down– Manhattan on is mainly Togo). For a gluten free vegan this is my haven. Knock off one star for the hefty prices but worth it. My recs: Futomaki roll Gluten free pancakes Macrobowl Baked goods

Tried this sweet looking spot yesterday on a hunt for a healthy lunch. Everything looked beautiful and fresh. Nothing has prices on it = complete shock at the register I grabbed a veggie sushi hand roll, which had brown rice and a few vegetables, wrapped in nori, and a tiny little piece of raw strawberry cheesecake and brought it to the counter, total was $ 18 I guess that’s the price of not bringing your own lunch from home and hoping to find something healthy out. The veggie sushi wrap was tasty, but the nori was soggy and made a mess to eat. In conclusion, the food is nice and fresh. Just beware of the prices, this place is NOT for those on a budget.

Sun In Bloom NY: Manhattan: Tribeca 10am Sunday 21st June 2015(Summer Solstice) Three Stars This place is probably more suited for the Organic, Vegetarian, Eco-Friendly, Yoga Types. I just stopped in for an Ice Coffee. Their Cold Brew is the default and costs $ 3.5 plus 32 cents of tax. The clear plastic cup was filled with decent coffee and regular ice. The coffee was more bitter and tangy than anything else. The Barista or «Baristed: as they help wanted sign states was pleasant. The store was clean with a lot of sunshine. OVerall, it was a decent experience.

I like their ideas… I’ve tried their green juice and the Brazil nut milk. They weren’t amazing. I think juice press juices taste way better. Plus, for their smoothies, they use pacific almond milk! I thought they advertise that everything is made from scratch???

Love love LOVE this place. So fresh and delicious, it brings a tear to my eye. The salads, the collard wraps, the juices — errrrrthang. I’ve also been to the restaurant in BK — which is equally delicious. And for those who think it’s expensive, is this your first time in Manhattan? PSA: everything in Manhattan is expensive. The prices are totally reasonable for the quality, taste and freshness.

Normally I am not a harsh reviewer but for someone like me who eats the same type of food and at the same type of places everyday this was the worst«healthy» meal I have ever had. I understand juice is expensive and organic food is too. But this place went way overboard on its pricing. First, I ordered a smoothie and there was no coconut kefir water so I asked them to add kale instead. That was $ 2JUSTFORKALE! All the add ons like chia seeds and protein powder were $ 2 too. The lunch bowl that I ordered was the macro bowl. When I had it served all the ingredients were wrong. I didn’t even bother to let the cashier know since all I wanted to do was get out of the place. I would not return to this place ever again and would not recommend you do as well if you area a health freak like me. Places like juice press have a much bigger variety plus higher level of service.

Pro tips: — Fantastic coffee! Actually quite possible some of the best coffee I’ve had in Park Slope. — Try the hot sauce! My mom was visiting New York and I was eager to take her around Park Slope to some of the places that my friends raved about. Unfortunately our brunch experience — though overall great — was not as satisfying as I had hoped it would be. However, I definitely would like to come back and try other items off of the menu and update my review accordingly. For food, we ordered: Western Scramble — Out of the two entrees, we preferred this one, though I’m not 100% sure about the name. In terms of ingredients, it had chickpea, miso-ginger tofu(awesome FYI), quinoa, blackbeans, salsa and boiled brussels sprouts. Minus the brussels sprouts(sigh), everything paired well together, especially after I dolloped a bit of the homemade hot sauce on top. Butternut Squash Tart — the crust of the tart was fantastic, I’ll give it that. The tofu itself also was yummy and complemented the crust in terms of texture. However the squash was overly sweet and, honestly, it almost tasted like peach, it was so sweet. It really threw me off and I struggled to finish my half of the tart. The potatoes were also pretty bland and the consistency did not make the situation any better. It was telling to hear two parties(on either side of us) ask for salt during their meals. Like I said before I do want to come back to try a sandwich or the earth bowl. I have had too many friends mention this place and I definitely want to give it the benefit of the doubt.

I just had the most amazing nourishing macro meal ever! My body is thanking me right now. I found this little gem by accident and I’m sooo glad I did. With Gluten free options, vegan & vegetarian meals I was in heaven! I ordered the macro bowl with added avocados. yum!!! I inhaled my bowl. It was so tasty I just couldn’t get enough. In addition to my bowl I ordered the vegetable soup & some gluten free desserts. All delicious. It’s a little pricey but I don’t mind paying extra for fresh good quality food. I highly recommend this place to all who care about what goes into their bodies. after all you are what you eat! Btw the service was superb! Very friendly staff. Made me change my order from take-out to dine-in.

Must try. Very friendly worker came out from behind the counter to explain the selections in the refrig section. Everything looked great. Ordered a macro bowl(highly recommend). Decent medium sized portion, good balance of flavors(sweet from the butternut squash, umame in the dressing, salty from the saukeraut) and the rice and beans gave it substance. The only downside, $ 14, but worth it for a clean meal. Good vibes here. A business worth supporting.

I usually stop by for the cookie sandwiches, but this time I got a macro bowl. The best most filling dinner I’ve had in a while, and it was all gluten free. The service was great, the staff are very friendly, and give great suggestions. Think this is my new go to after work for now on.

This place is my morning routine before work. They have some of the best coffee in the area, especially the espresso. The items are a little pricey but are all quality. My favorite morning snacks are the BLT collard wrap and the pumpkin muffin. All items are vegan(excluding the milks for coffee– they offer dairy and non-dairy) and most are gluten-free. Everything is labeled. The service is great. The staff greet you as soon as you walk in and say bye when you leave. Once I came in and the music was loud. I let the staff know and they immediately turned it down. There is only limited counter seating for about 4 – 5. This is a take-out spot, but since its summer eat in city hall park right down the block.
