Do NOT go here, unless you want unnecessary work done on your teeth. I’m a NYC transplant by way of Kansas and finally had to make the switch from my dentist back home. I had never had any cavities or issues prior. I gave Dr. Yampolsky’s office a try. The first visit was okay, the hygienist said I had a couple of soft spots and prescribed me fluoride toothpaste — fine. The second visit, before the hygienist even started the cleaning was making comments about how my teeth were so bad, what was I doing to my teeth to get them in the state they were in, which is putting me at unease, considering I’ve never been told things like this before. After these comments she starts the cleaning and says I have two cavities and my molars have a lot of soft spots and I need to get all of them capped. I was honestly shocked to hear it. They scheduled me to come back in but I ended up cancelling the appointment because of the bad vibes I got from the staff and got in with my dentist back home.
I just went in to my dentist back home yesterday and he found no cavities or soft spots that would warrant any dental work being done! He told me he was glad I didn’t get any work done with this doctor as it would have been unnecessary and would have done more harm to my teeth. It’s obvious Dr. Yampolsky is just out to make money off of her patients and doesn’t have their health in mind.

I did a consultation for invisalign and was recommended to go here. I was charged a different amount from the person who recommended me and it took well over 3 months to receive my deposit of over $ 1500 back in my bank account. You have to constantly call and they have to «verify» and «get back to you» or this person or the other is «taking care of it» so «call back next week», etc. Make sure you know all of the fees they are going to charge you and ask ahead of time if things cover in full. Even still, I was told to be paying $ 400-​$ 500 in addition to the overpricing, hence the reason why I cancelled everything.
