I came to this small T-Mobile store(operated and owned by CellularPlus) after the larger one at 1252 St. Nicholas Ave. wasn’t able to help me. My SIM card stopped working this morning, and after consulting T-Mobile Customer Service online I was told that I needed a new one(keep in mind that my SIM card was so old that it had«Voicestream“written on it, i.e. it preceded the actual birth of T-Mobile…). Mr Engrin Gomez was nice and helpful, activated the new SIM card($ 20…) right away, and tried to sell me a different plan without being pushy(I didn’t need a different plan). I have two complains: 1) The SIM card has no warranty; if it breaks next week I have to buy a new one and drop another Jackson. Also, $ 20 for a SIM card is rather steep. 2) When I asked for a receipt I was told that the piece of plastic that contained the SIM card was the actual receipt… Sure this is OK with IRS?
