I practically stumbled upon this place. As soon as I saw their windows crêpe display I stopped and went inside. It is a tiny place but the vibe is very chill and relaxing, not cramped at all. The staff is also very friendly. I decided to get the #5. «Matcha Chocolate Truffle» It was amazing. I’ve tried other Japanese crepes before but trust me, none were as good as this one. I believe there were strawberries, chocolate truffles, matcha cream, whipped yogurt, crushed pistachios and chocolate drizzle inside. The chocolate truffles and matcha custard cream really stood out to me and were my fave ingredients. You can also customize your own crêpe, but I was too lazy to do so. I will definitely come back next time and try their other crepes as well. 110% recommend.

Got the raspberry smoothie and green tea crêpe. Both had plenty of flavor. Smoothie was super light and was not over powering. A tad on the expensive side for a smoothie though.

Very delicious and reasonably priced for a good amount of food. The staff is very friendly unlike many employees of the city. The Japanese crêpe is very light but still substantial without being too filling. We opted for the savory crepes for dinner, I got the shrimp acacia do which was made right in front of you were you could see the fresh ingredients being used. If you’ve never had Japanese crepes you must, it’s life changing. The only downside is there is no public restroom however the water is easily accessible and definitely worth it.

Bought a groupon and I wish I bought more. There were so many combinations I wanted to try! I had the green tea, of course, and it was extremely satisfying. The portions are perfect for sweet tooths. Each bite had ice cream and all the goodies they added. I also tried the lychee off my friend and that was equally enjoyable. But I’m bias for green tea. There’s not much seating but I suggest staying in for consumption because it can be a complicated meal. Or maybe I’m just always messy. I didn’t realize the paper cone was suppose to be riped as we ate it — I pushed it up.

Bought a Groupon, and am so happy I did! I will definitely return, without a Groupon. The staff is super friendly, my crêpe was delicious, and It wasn’t messy. I missed out on watching my crêpe being made, but that’s ok. Only slight change I would make is the seating. I was at a table, and felt bad and almost rushed to leave when someone was eating their crêpe on the bench.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. I enjoyed both the savory and sweet crepes as they give you a decent portion. I actually bought a groupon deal before and found out it only applies to this particular location because it is apparently the newest branch. Nonetheless, it was very convenient as it is located just a block away from the subway. I am happy to know of another place to go when I am craving Japanese-style crepes!

Cute little Crêpe place in the west village. The crepes were very good. I had the salmon crêpe and my husband had the lychee romantic crêpe. The lychee romantic crêpe reminded me of a macaron. Sweet but not too sweet. The salmon crêpe had the perfect balance. I’d definitely come back again.

Toward the end of my stroll along 8th Street, a new T-Swirl Crêpe shop was a pleasant surprise. It’s a creperie franchise that serves Japanese style crêpe — cone-shaped and lavishly filled with delicious ingredients like fruits, ice cream, chocolates for sweet crepes. The«salad crepes» can be quite a crowd pleaser for the meat-lovers. The non-vegetarian variety includes ingredients such as smoked salmon, chicken teriyaki, angus short ribs, crab meat, and tuna. The salad crepes can be a light meal on its own, while the sweet crepes are a guilty pleasure. The rice flour, which they proudly proclaim to be gluten-free, sets T-Swirl Crêpe apart from many other creperies. The rice flour wrap is crispy and thin, and it has a delightful richness and mild sweetness. The«Fruits Cocktail» crêpe is the queen of its sweet crepes variety. The«Matcha Azuki Bean» is popular as well; it’s made with strawberries, almonds, red beans, layered with whipped yogurt, and topped with a scoop of green tea-flavored ice cream. The smoked salmon salad crêpe is a personal favorite; it’s made with a meticulous recipe that exceeds expectations for this commonly available crêpe. Finally, your order of crêpe will be artistically presented to you. This T-Swirl Crêpe prepares orders a bit slow, however not compromising in quality, so it’d be good to manage your wait time expectation.

I ordered a Macha Azuka Bean Crêpe. The crêpe itself was delicious, sweet and thin. The fillings were delicious as well. Layers of strawberries and sweet creams covered with a scoop of green tea ice cream. The employees were friendly and helpful. The store was clean and comfortable(yet very small). But, without the Groupon that I used for a 35% discount, I dont think I would go back and pay almost $ 10 for a dessert crêpe. Definately a great experience and I do recommend this place. It’s just pricey. So, if you have the money to treat yourself, go for it!

In love with Japanese styled crêpe, I decided to venture here to try this place out after hearing great reviews about them. Normally I would opt for a dessert crêpe, but decided to try a savory crêpe. I got the shrimp avocado crêpe. You could watch the employees make your crêpe with fresh ingredients right in front of your eyes– which was awesome. The crêpe was delicious!!! The ingredients were pretty plentiful. Almost a good amount of shrimp in every bite. The sauce and spinach all went together well. The price for the crêpe could have gotten you something more filling, but for the flavor and deliciousness. I thought it was so very worth it.

Indescribably delicious! The best crêpe I’ve ever had! The crêpe I had(strawberry banana) was so freaking delicious, I had to go the next day! I can’t exactly describe the flavor of the lovely strawberry banana crêpe, but it’s perfectly sweet(not too sweet but definitely not bland). It has a wonderful aftertaste that just leaves you totally satisfied. The employees are very sweet and welcoming. T-Swirl has a punch card(every time you get a crêpe there, they stamp it and when you get 8 crepes, the 9th one is free). Initially I thought«Eh, I doubt I’ll come here THAT many times,» but after having the absolutely divine strawberry banana crêpe and wanting to go literally the next day, I know that I’ll definitely be on my way to that ninth crêpe!

Had a coupon so I gave this spot a try. Hadn’t had dinner, so made the mistake of trying to order something savory instead of indulging my sweet tooth. That was probably my first mistake. The teriyaki chicken crêpe looked pretty, and it’s mystifying to watch the team behind the counter make these swirly concoctions. But the chicken itself was lukewarm and had a mysteriously rubbery texture a la something I once ate in my college dining hall. Also, watched a fly or two busily buzzing behind the glass counter while my crêpe was made. None of this is to say I won’t maybe come back to give something sweet a try. But this wasn’t a stellar first impression, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this place is another swift 8th Street casualty. Life’s short, eat dessert(crepes) first, kids.

Cue the terrible T-Swift Crêpe joke. Double egg crêpe ran $ 5.66 after discount, but broke apart upon consumption(their peel wrappers also suck compared to 8 Turn Crêpe). I’d used the 20% off Unilocal checkin special, and they were handing out $ 2 off grand opening flyers that same afternoon, and offer 15% off with Village Access pass, and an NYU discount, and etc. etc. etc.

They call it the«best Japanese crêpe in NYC.» They are not originally from Japan, but they took the concept of Japanese crepes, and brought it here to NYC. I always loved crepes in Japan, I mean, really LOVED them. So, even though I had a horrible experience with another Japanese crêpe shop called«Eight Turn Crêpe»(I will never go back there, even if they pay me), I decided to give this place a try. The inside was covered with wood, bringing that warm, cozy feel to it. They only had a couple of tables, but also had a long bench and counter seating by the wax crepes. There was 1 female staff on the floor, and as soon as we walked in, she greeted with us big smile and handed us the menu. She was eager to help but at the same time, gave us our time and space, not being pushy at all. So we were able to look at the menu and decide without any pressure… T-swirl crêpe makes their crepes with 100% gluten free rice flour batter, which is very unique. The rice flower gives a bit of chewy-ness but without being too chewly. The edges gets a little crispy, so you get to have 2 different texture from the crêpe. They make each crêpe to order, so they are fresh, never soggy. We finally decided on Matcha Chocolate Truffle. It was perfectly constructed, with crème, fruits and chocolates in each bite. The crêpe did not get saggy even at the very end. Matha crème was very rich, had great real matcha flavor, and the chocolate was really great also. We also ordered an iced coffee, which turned out to be a great surprise. It was really, really good coffee! Read my full review of this restaurant and food on my food blog, foodlovergirl.

Came here after the crappy service at Eight Turn crêpe. These guys serve exactly same stuff, but the service is much better, there are a few tables, calming music playing, you feel like you’re on vacation somewhere in the Caribbean. I tried matcha crêpe and loved it. I wish they weren’t stingy about the amount of stuff they put into crepes. Also beware of the fattiness(saturated fat) of the yogurt sauce they put into crepes! I tried a sample and a greasy fatty taste wouldn’t leave my mouth. So I ordered my crêpe without yogurt sauce. Other than that, good place to go for a sweet bite.

A nice little crêpe place. It was pretty good but the wait was kind of long(wasn’t a lot of people at the time). I like how the crêpe is a little bit crisp and how the flavors go well with together.

Cute little crêpe shop. T-Swirl Crêpe is a small shop with two small tables for 2, and a few window seats. It has a cosy atmosphere and it’s a good place for a quick snack. It’s also good for grab-and-go, but the crepes can get a little messy at the end. They have sweet and savory crepes, but we opted for savory as we wanted more of a meal. My friend got the T-Swirl BLT and I ordered the Angus Short Ribs. The BLT was delicious, as was the short ribs. I’n used to the crêpe itself being soft, but this crêpe was crispy which I actually really liked. The only downside was that the short ribs were a little bit too salty. I was constantly refilling my water cup. Nevertheless I still enjoyed it and would come back to try other flavors. I was debating a bit back and forth whether I should give this place 4 or 5 stars, but I decided that the service was worth giving this place the extra star. The employees were super friendly, and at first they accidentally made my crêpe too crispy and it collapsed. They made me an entirely new one and we’re really nice about it. Also, there was a 20% off Unilocal offer for their grand opening. Not too shabby.

Came in here for crêpe’s :)! I love how the service was nice and friendly! They had a 20percent off for their grand opening so I got my crêpe for $ 6.10 I got the mango raspberry crêpe and it was pretty good. The crêpe was crispy and crunchy and not dry. I also loved how fresh the fruits were and the whole crêpe made me really full. I’m glad that they opened up here because I won’t have to go all the way to flushing just to get their crepes. I would come back here because their service was friendly and the crêpe’s are worth it :)!

What a sweet cute little crêpe place! The menu has two sides, sweet and savory and while it seems like you are going to get a crêpe the size of a burrito, the thing comes elegantly folded and you can take bites without awfully stuffing your face! We’ve tried the chocolate nut party and it was delicious. Reading all the things that come in your crêpe can make your head turn, but fear not –all is beautifully arranged in the folds and dents of the creative cone. I loved my chocolate party, the gelato was of superior quality and watching the skilled chef put together our dessert in place was artistic in some way :) I am looking forward to trying the rest of the menu and savoring these gorgeous cone crêpe treats!
