Thai On Wheels

Some of the best pad Thai I’ve ever had! And it’s cheap under $ 10 plus a free tummy Thai ice tea which is also super refreshing!

The portions are quite big and the meals are pretty cheap. ($ 8 to $ 10)
We can call and order ahead to pickup to save time but even without that they are very fast.
I’ve already tried the Drunken noodle, the Pad Thai & the Pad See Ew which were all very good for a quick food truck. (The Best being the Drunken Noodle as the 2 others are a bit sweet to me)
Only weird thing is that the lady always add a ton of pepper on top of the meals, so I always ask for no pepper because it kinda ruins the flavors.
Also don’t pay attention to the pictures on the cart as the real meals do not look like them at all.

I decided to give it a try today. With no one ahead of me, I still waited over 10 minutes. Apparently you can place an order by phone and pick it up later, so they were cooking the phone orders first. when I finally got my chicken noodle dish, there are only two pieces of Chicken meat inside and the portion was very small. I won’t go back again.

Delicious! I came here a bunch and used to get the Pad Thai (a large amount of food for a good price). But then I tried the Pad See Ew and I fell in love. GAME CHANGER! I didn’t bother with the Pad Thai anymore because the Pad See Ew was SO good. I highly recommend this place. Line can get long during lunch, but its worth it!

Good food. Good prices. Conveniently located. Friendly staff and fast service. I highly recommend!

The food at this Thai truck is good, large portion sizes, and the price is less than comparable options and other food trucks in the area. I have been here twice and will be coming back many more times.
The chicken pad Thai and pineapple fried rice were both really tasty and they make it fresh when you order it, so if there are a lot of people ordering, you may have to wait around 10 minutes for your food, but if you call their phone number and order it beforehand, you can just show up, pay, and be on your way.
However, like many other food carts, they are cash only.

This food truck is amazing it is relatively cheap and the flavor are amazing, I would recommend the pad Thai just because it’s so flavorful, creative, and cheap. Keep up the good work!

I’ve come here a bunch of times. I got the pad thai once before (flavorful indeed) and I got the panang curry with tofu. It tasted SO good… had a good amount of spice, peppers, and tofu. Also, this was only $ 7, with rice. It was a pretty significant serving size that I’m able to save a part of it for dinner/​lunch the next day. Pretty good thai food, coming out of a cart.

Okay — if you’re in the area, you need to go to Thai on Wheels. You seriously, seriously have to. Sure, it may not be your gourmet pad thai but seriously, it’s one of the best things you can eat for under $ 10 in this part of Manhattan. I’m not really sure when the lunch rush is, I came around 12:30 but there weren’t any people waiting before me. After that, five people came in to order. So, about their food — it’s hot, it’s delicious, and you get a lot for your money. I usually get the shrimp pad thai and it cost about $ 9 (I believe it’s $ 7 or $ 8 for chicken) — which is much cheaper than the $ 12 I usually end up paying for a shrimp pad thai. Plus, it’s a good amount of jumbo shrimp, I which I enjoy. You can also pre-​order on the phone and have it made for you.
The pad thai came out pretty flavorful (lime, peanuts, and bean sprouts included). My friend got the pad see ew (also really really good) and drunken noodles (not their best). You know if a Thai place makes good pad thai — they’re golden. I’m not sure why they don’t have many reviews, because they certainly deserve more credit than that!

Soooo GOOD is all I have to say. My team and I eat there at least once a week. Price is right and all the dishes I have had so far have been restaurant quality.
