Very nice food! Great atmosphere and fantastic music, especially on Tuesday’s nights! Check out the cocktail list!

Had s nice lunch and cocktails We were a group of 4 visiting NYC for our girls weekend. Just walking up 23rd and saw this cute little place and stopped in. Glad we did. Not a huge menu but enough to choose from. Bartender /waitress Dee was very personable. She only started at Store a House that week. She had everything well in control . Sliders, salads fried pickles… If in that area of NYC again will certainly stop in

The cocktails are amazing! Undocumented Manhattan is my favorite! But if you are a beer enthusiast they have tremendous selection with weekly new beers to try. Food is great, can’t get enough of the short rib sliders, but daily specials are creative as well! Busy on late nights, ambience is fun! My to go place after long day at work. And the favorite part — they give you delicious home made chips on happy hour! Come in on Mondays night, Karl will take good care of you!!!

Shame on you the Storehouse. We recently had a dinner there and all of us got food poisoning after having Burgers in this place. We got so seek and had fever and diarrhea for two days. I am so upset about this place. I would not recommend this place at all.

This place must be shot down. It’s a place with terrible food. We got food poisoning after having late dinner there. We went there on Friday night around 11:45PM and ordered a Store House Burger and country club sandwich along with Stella and Heineken beer. We have had diarrhea all the night and morning after. The staff were nice but the food is a complete disaster. Not recommend at all.

The Storehouse is a go-to place for my colleagues to host our weekly editorial meetings. Our waitress(usually the same woman) is friendly and gives us space.(We try not to overstay our welcome!) We come here because it’s not too busy during the week on the afternoon and there’s wi-fi. The lunch specials are generous and affordable. We’re all really happy here and look forward to our returns.

Very good food and service! I had the storehouse burger which was so good to the last crumb. The waiter who was also the bartender was also very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The bar and bathroom downstairs was very clean. Will come again when back in nyc!

Went here on a random night when my husband and I were trying to find a place to congregate with some friends for a mini reunion while in the city. The place has 2 floors and great selection of whiskey. Some good bar bites(Brussels sprouts were awesome. and they had shishito peppers. Brings me back to Spain! :) the waitress was super nice and accommodating and let us sit at the big table while we waited for our friends. All in all a great little bar, which has room for big groups, tucked away on 23rd.

I came in with a friend for a college alumni game, and was underwhelmed by the service and food of a pretty cute little bar. The bartender was the only wait staff, and at first it was no big deal because there were maybe 12 people total in the place. He was a dick from the get go when we started having conversation instead of ordering a drink. When I tried to order the beer on tap that was apparently one of many IPAs(but the only tap clearly labeled as an IPA), he was a smartass about which one I wanted. Once I realized he was Irish and the regulars told me that’s always how he is, I was a little less offended. As the bar filled up, he became harder and harder to find or grab– I assume this is a management problem with proper staffing, and not his for trying to handle tables and a full bar. Our appetizers came quickly and were delicious, but our meals took forever. When we started commenting to each other about him forgetting to put them in, he ran back to the kitchen and appeared with them. Her turkey burger looked great; my short rib sliders on the other hand, were the saddest $ 12 appetizer I’d ever been served. No garnish on the plate and nothing but a chunk of meat with melted cheese on the bun. After overhearing our comments, the bartender became nicer, but it shouldn’t take complaining to get decent service– especially when the group is your regular and consistent Saturday football crowd.

Casual place with very friendly bartenders but service can be spotty. A little too friendly I guess. Low ceiling on first floor. Wood floors with an L-shaped bar(small L) on the west call with wood bar top that lacks a rail. Round brass foot rest. Stools are padded seat with wood back support. Enough tvs, but one opposite the bar are small(see low ceilings), 3 large tvs behind bar. Edison lights over bar. Bar back that mostly contains bottle shelves with a few mirrors and cabinets. About 18 stools. Chill atmosphere not packed when I’ve been. Decent bar food. Never went upstairs

Casual spot with a great whiskey list! Most tables are for four people. Little pricey. On a Friday night, this place wasn’t too crowded. Music was mostly late-90’s stuff.

I came here after work one day and the experience was very satisfying. I’ve had their Irish BLT& E and their Storehouse Burger, which is freakin’ delicious. They have happy hour as well as Trivia Night, which is super fun. The bartenders are extremely friendly and funny. They’ve got two floors, the second being a little more quiet than the first. And the prices are decent for the location!

We’ve been here before and it’s a typical Irish pub(a shit-ton of whiskey and fairly solid pub food) but last night the waitress and cook were way off the mark… Our waitress seemed like she was coming off of something — spaced out and not super accurate or on top of our drink order, and moving really slowly. But ultimately drinks were fine. Food… We order a couple of appetizers and two of us got dinner entrees. The best thing on the table was the brussels sprouts, which is surprising for a table of people who don’t usually eat their vegetables! The fried pickles were pretty decent, but lukewarm, like they had been sitting for a while. Onion rings were straight up cold, and so were my bf’s sliders. Steak sandwich was rare(fine) but lukewarm — wasn’t sure if this was *entirely* safe, but I have a cast iron stomach so i ate it anyhow. Fries were SUPERSUPER salty — luckily I’m a salt fiend, but for others it would have been rough. Either the chef wasn’t even trying, or our«waitress» waited a LONGASSTIME to grab and bring us the food, or both. Maybe next time we’ll make sure to go in only when maintaining a drunken state or nursing a drunk from the night before. Hah.

Came here after the Bacon and Beer Classic at Citi Field. Our waitress definitely wasn’t thrilled about a certain member of our party who was a little, how you say, ‘pissy’ after all that beer earlier(and several after, d’oh) but in her defense, we weren’t super thrilled about it either. So we came to Storehouse after a quick flick through Unilocal-reviewed restaurants in the area good for bar food, and Unilocal(and The Storehouse) delivered. It may be the beer talking, but they made me a damn good burger. I don’t know if there will ever be a day when a good burger and fries isn’t the ultimate meal for me. So simple, so elegant, so tasty. We sat at a table in the back corner, which is always nice. The service was pretty good. We were all guzzling down water after the event we had come from, so after a bit we asked for a pitcher of water and were quickly accommodated. We ate, we talked, we helped my friend decide what to eat, we paid, we left. Simple, elegant, tasty.

Came on a Friday during March Madness, sat upstairs. Good amount of TVs. Nice drink list at reasonable prices. Good subway access. All set up for a great time except the poor waitress had to cover the entire upstairs… during a friday of March Madness… not sure what management was thinking there. How could it possibly be a slow night? The girl was trying her hardest but it was simply an impossible task. She messed up my order, just a different flavor of cider so no big deal. But you had to chase after her for a round! So lost points there, but this place has potential. I will give it a try again and you should too when in the area.

I hosted my birthday happy hour here on Friday after reading the positive reviews on Unilocal, and I was not disappointed. When I e-mailed the bar on Tuesday morning inquiring about reservations, I received an immediate response assuring me that it was no problem to reserve a few tables in the upstairs bar. Bonus for offering my guests to have separate tabs throughout the night, unlike many other places that would have given us a hard time about splitting the check. There is an extensive scotch/whiskey list, as well as a decent selection of bottled and draft beers. The food was tasty and better than your average bar food. For those who were interested in March Madness games, there are huge screens in the upstairs bar that are visible from every table. Add to all this that it’s conveniently located next to the 23rd Street PATH station — I will definitely be back. The only criticism is that when the bar got busier later in the evening, it was increasingly difficult to flag down our waitress — but it seemed like she was covering the entire upstairs by herself and was doing her best despite being overwhelmed.

This is a great bar if you want to grab a bite to eat(the fried pickles taste great and the burgers looked awesome), chat over some drinks, or watch a game(or all three). The women’s bathroom is so clean for a bar and the atmosphere is nice. I’d definitely come back.

A friend and I dropped in to the Storehouse looking for a quick happy hour and place to chat before our evening plans. They have a nice long space which would be excellent for groups and a few tables perfect for just the two of us. Although we were there just for a short time, the kitchen smell beckoned so I had to order something. In addition to our beer and wine, we split some fried pickles, which themselves deserve 4 stars. I’d take a guess that most of their food is above par, but their pint/glass prices are a bit high to make this a regular stop.

The Storehouse used to be an Irish pub, if I remember correctly. Either way, it seems similar to me. It’s kind of a so-so, boozy establishment with sports playing on the televisions. It’s a place where you’ll make regrettable hookups. It’s the kind of place where there aren’t many other options around, so you end up here. It’s the kind of place where you’re like, F it, let’s just get drunk here. The ownership obviously cares about the changes that have taken place. I must also say I’ve only visited the lower bar space. I look forward to visiting the upper bar space and revising my review. Consider this a partial review at this point. More specifically, the lower bar serves pretty standard beers that you can find just about anywhere. I had a tough time finding a beer that I like, although the bartenders were super helpful in offering me suggestions. There is no way around this, but the bathrooms are not ideal. There are a row of urinals tightly packed into a narrow hall and one stall for men. The bottom line is that there aren’t a lot of other places nearby, and so The Storehouse will sort of reign supreme. I know I’ll always take a tipple here.(Offer some Bell’s Two-Hearted Ale on tap and you’ve got yourself a four-star joint.)
