I’ve been to TWS in Boston and New York, and liked the one in Boston much better. I came here looking to snag a pair of J Brands after getting my now-favorite pair at last year’s Boston sale. Boston had many good options in my size and I had trouble deciding which ones to leave behind. New York seemed a bit picked-over, and I sifted through a lot of tacky, bleached-out bootcut catastrophes before finding my cute new pair of skinny J Brands for $ 80. They also had a great Robert Marc sample sale on the 5th floor and I bought an amazing pair of geek-chic specs for about 80% below retail — pretty sweet! Definitely try to go as early as possible to get the best selection. Overall, New York was good, but Boston was better.

Beware of the alterations. I bought my son a $ 200. suit, ended up paying over $ 50. for alterations. Then, when we went to get the suit the alterations were done poorly — pant legs were so long he could trip over them, etc. So new fittings were made and we have to go back a 3rd time — the trip is about an hour and half rt from door to door. The salesman Sherif is unhelpful and unpleasant. When we went the 2nd time the salesman was much better, immediately said the first alterations were done wrong. Still, it’s our time wasted, we won’t return in the future as there are many other stores in NYC

See, Arnab got himself so totally hot jeans, it’s true, but I just got annoyed at how freakin expensive it was. Isn’t the point of a warehouse sale that everything is cheap??? I saw a cute BCBG skirt… and it was $ 188…that may easily be more than what it costs anywhere else! WTF? T shirts for $ 40? That’s not a sale honey, that’s a ripoff. The men’s jeans were good, but really, that’s about all.
