I had a dental emergency while eating lunch at work and immediately called my dentist’s office for an emergency appointment. That’s when I found out that he had retired in the months since I last saw him and his replacement was away for the holidays.
As the panic set in, I searched for dentists near my office and found New York Dental Partners, a block away. I called and explained what happened and they asked me to come immediately. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in good hands. Not only was Dr. Thomas Mondello attentive, gentle and skillful at resetting my tooth but he also sensed my panic and patiently explained the procedure and how he would monitor the progress.
Dr. Thomas Mondello’s method worked and my tooth was fully recovered by my third visit. During that appointment the other Dr. Mondello at New York Dental Partners — Anthony Mondello — reviewed my x-​rays. He was equally attentive and assuring and from then on, he fully took over my case.
This happened more than two years ago and I’ve been returning to New York Dental Partners since then for my general dental care. Both Dr. Mondellos, the dental hygienists and Francine at the front desk are excellent at patient care. A few of my coworkers in need of a dentist heard my story and started going to New York Dental Partners as well.
Dr. Thomas Mondello and Dr. Anthony Mondello are both excellent and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a skillful, reliable and gentle dentist in New York City.

Best dentist ever. I used to fly home to Atlanta to get dental care because I’m just that crazy about teeth! :-) Since then, everyone I know goes to Dr. Mondello and Dr. Feldman. They are artists who never inflict pain. They save teeth when other dentists suggest more radical measures. Their gentle approach, intelligent care and talent are what make this practice so special. They also practice out of a state of the art facility that is immaculate. So happy I found them!!! Most of the Fox 5 on air staff go there because he’s such a gem.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sylvan for over 15 years and have gone to the other doctors in the practice. They are very skilled. They are on time and care. The receptionist, Francine is very professional and good at caring and follow up. The hygienists are excellent too. all in all, I highly recommend this group.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mondello for over 10 years. This office has been treated me very good and I just wanted recommended to someone looking for a goood dentist. Recently office was moved and updated, so it is nice and new! They have 2 more doctors in the office, which is Dr. Stephen Sylvan and Dr. Anton Feldman. They are trying very hard to be on time and very reliable. They do take insurance, but I believe they take it as out of network only, when you are making appointment you may want to double check on that one.
